It was awesome they such a life like hurricane and Earth quake simulators.... They also had thing for ALL ages. It was especially fun when the kids where able to go on little grocery shopping treausure hunt. Also, I think it was very cool how they had a rock climbing wall but it was unlike other you went sideways not up! It was very fun. It's also very cool how kids can touch everything!!

Very misleading and poor advertising. They sent out a coupon for the Bubble fest they are currently having. This coupon does not mention additional tickets are needed for the bubble fest. So you purchase the regular admission ticket then you have to purchase another ticket for the fest. When you go inside i would say almost half of the interactive exhibits are broken.

It was okay: my kids are 9. 11 and 12 and were much too old for this place. They were bored within minutes. Also the food is so weird and overpriced. My 12 year old didn t want to order anything cause it was for babies .
Just make a gosh darn normal PBNJ. Lol.
I wouldn t want to go back.

Every time I go here, I enjoy myself. Ohh I do bring the kids too but I personally enjoy it, I know the rest of the family enjoy the various events that happen here throughout the year.

This place is not huge but it will occupy you and the kids for a day. I have a 3 and 5 year old and we didn't manage to see it all because they were so taken with each section. Bought the yearly pass because it will be a regular haunt for the summer. Lots of learning, fun and air conditioning!

Fun place to go with small children. Has a good food bar. Coffee is strong, but not the best. Beware, the veg tots are not potato tots. Everyone who works here is very nice and helpful. Lots of kids so you ll need to be patient. Lots of fun experiments. Worth the money. Not too expensive.

I wish I can give them a 0 kids went on a field trip yesterday staff was rude and made them sit outside on the floor to eat and they had there patio eating area closed and then gave them there juices 45 mins later and one kid throw up all over his self from the bad food they gave him smh that s just sad

Went there with my daughter and Grandson. Enjoyable place for both kids and adults. hard to find places for little kids to enjoy themselves this worked out really well. Only downside is their whole summer promotion is dinosaurs and they didn't have any stuffed toys in the gift shop so I could buy one for my grandson. if your whole summer promotion is dinosaurs maybe you should have a few in the gift shop. None-the-less all the exhibits were fun and very interactive good job.!

I haven't been there in years and there is very little real change. It was air conditioned and a nice place to be in the hot summer. Getting in the parking lot was a disaster and there was a huge line of people trying to just get into the driveway. There is a lot there for kids to do. A lot of it seems to "target" a generation of kids for the "global Melting theory. That being said, there is nothing wrong with trying to raise responsible kids and nothing wrong with caring for Mother Nature.

The place was pretty big, and the staff were helpful too, but improvements can be made. When I went here I was with my 13 year old brother, and my mom, it was pretty fun, but got bored pretty quickly cause I m 14 and my bro is 13 like I said.

There were several fun exhibits. It was a nice facility, but I don't think I'd buy a membership there if I lived in the area. It's small enough that my kids would get bored easily. There were several games to play and many special exhibits for Halloween and Fall. I liked that it had stuff for kids of all ages. Not really geared for kids above 12 or so.

Pretty good experience. If you frequent the place, best to get a membership. Some of the displays were dated and I am wary if all the buttons, handles, etc are cleaned on a regular basis. But my nephew and niece had a blast. Parking can be rough to find if the place is crowded. On the weekend, I had to park at the mall next door.

We are spoiled since we live 10-minutes from a state-of-the-art children's museum in Dallas, thus the three stars. This place is great for an afternoon, but not really a day trip destination. If I lived close by with little kids, be I'm sure I'd be there a lot. However for a fun, laid back afternoon, it was enjoyable. The Cube is a bit beat up, but there is a lot of variety for activities. It wasn't too crowded so my introvert son enjoyed it without getting overwhelmed or stressed out.

Pricey admission, but the displays here are quite good. We went during a not so busy time so the kids got to try hands on exhibits without waiting most of the time. Membership might be worthwhile if you can make it to the two main locations a handful of times in a year.

Our kids love this place and have a great time. Best deal is to become a member to visit all year.

That being said, our visit today was disappointing. With the exception of the new dinosaur temporary exhibit, the regular exhibits were broken or not working well. No parking was available today. Chaperone to child ratio for groups should be revisited as kids from summer camp groups were running everywhere terrorizing other children or breaking things and staff was not intervening. Overall the place already needs a serious overhaul due to broken exhibits. Kids may not have noticed, but we did.

Not a pleasant experience for our field trip. The dinosaur exhibit is really cool, but that's where the good time ends, unfortunately. We chose to leave early because the kids weren't having a good time.

We love this place. Very reasonable membership dues, and good benefits. Was able to buy 4 additional tickets at 10 dollars each to do a play date with a few preschool friends. Love that they do new themes. Always something fun going on for the kiddos.

We used to bring the kids here when they were little and there were more things to do. Now not only is it pretty pricey to visit, most of the exhibits are about trash and pollution education. I have no issue with that but they were the largest of the exhibits and the other exhibits were not all that exciting even for the little ones. Kinda disappointing. Not worth the price of admission.

Went to Discovery Cube OC for the first time last Friday for Bubblefest 2019. My girls ages 4 and 2 1/2 had an amazing time. First off there are so many things to do and see, all interactive play. Bubblefest is a whole different story, it was AMAZING and it was awesome to watch even for us parents. We were truly amazed. We will have to go back to finish seeing the rest of the place, parking was kind of crazy, we got there around 10:15 and they JUST opened and it was already packed in parking. but def worth it

This place is great for kids 3+. We love the dinosaur exhibit and we're so disappointed when we learned it isn't permanent. A few major differences from the DC-LA. 1. Parking-- it is limited and if you're not a member it cost $6 even if you end up across the street in the overflow lot. 2. Because of parking it's not built for crowds- sure it's huge but organizationally they don't have the infrastructure to coordinate. Instead people piled into the parking lot while one staff member told the first car about the overflow lot. The lanes turning in were backed up and not effectively addressed. The staff member tried to wave us through until we told them we don't know where to go. He gave us an 8.5x11 with a map. Such a colossal waste of paper. They should have a sign with arrows giving directions and a large sign (not a single sandwich board sign) in front of the overflow lot. 3. The bathrooms are more abundant but as disgusting. Urine all over the men's restroom floors. My kiddo did enjoy washing his own hands at the kid friendly sinks.

I didn't know that members had to pay extra for bubblefest. I assumed as a member it'd be a perk included. It didn't look super interesting so I'm not super disappointed.

The gift shop is full of trash. I would've hoped for some higher quality or more educational toys.

Also, there aren't a lot of staff observing the areas. I watched a lady eat a bag of chips inside the earthquake simulator. Lady. We all share this space- please eat on a bench or at the cafe.

Cleanliness is essential with so many little humans and chipeaters running around. I would've loved to see staff walking up and down the stairs with a Clorox wipe just wiping things down. The legos are gross. The stools were dirty. The cart activity went from kid to kid. Just a few seconds to focus on cleanliness and hygiene would be awesome.

I know I'll be back but in a weekday. I can't do another weekend there

Great hands-on science center for kids ages 12 and younger. It does get extremely busy with school groups during the summer. Best suggestion is to get there when it opens at 10 a.m. and fit in everything you can. We love the traveling exhibits every year. If you live close, it's well worth it to get the annual pass.

Great for families, classes, and even interesting for adults. I spent a few hours here with my friend and we didn't even get to the space area upstairs, there's so much to look at and explore!

This place is not only for kids to enjoy adults can also. The events are very educational fun and delightful every event is different and prices are totally worth it just to see how kids enjoy the events is priceless, on top of that you can get discounts for groups and the OC magazine has coupons, also look in the web there's discounts that are offered in certain days for some cities.

What a great day to go to Discovery Cube in Orange County. Disney the Lion Guard exhibit opened today and our children enjoyed the experience. They had many sensory activities that were perfect for our little ones to explore and enjoy. They had an area where little ones get to pretended to prepare food and it was fun seeing them work through it all. Children learn by exploring and touching objects and this was right on target and since our little ones are very hands on, they dove right into it. The animal show they had on display was a great bonus, they displayed a millipede, snake, Pancake Tortoise and an Owl. Discovery Cube in Orange County always exceeds our expectations.
