Stopped serving food as we arrived and then started an hour later but food was amazing

What an awsome place. Big menu to choose from, great atmosphere and the staff were really friendly. Sat at a table with an order yourself system via an ipad, easy to use and quite quirky will definitely be back.

Nice place. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff and dog friendly in the bar area.

A good, honest local. We only had drinks (a seperate bar area from the restaurante) but they were served nicely. The local gin came in a lovely glass with extra fruit, and the local beer went down well. Initally atteacted by the fairy lights, but worth finding out about the history of the name.

The service was great and the food even better. A nice place to eat and when we were there (midweek lunch) it was very quiet, however, I do imagine it will get very busy at other times.

We were there for dinner, great location. We liked it very much.

If you have the means to get here then do so because the food is absolutely amazing.

Nice place, good food and drink and staff were lovely. The highlight was the sheep.

The burgers this place does are something else! Had the signature burger and it was enormous. A very good decision and I will be back. I was a little put off by the price as I'm used to cheaper but it was worth the money - I'm not local to the town so it could be priced well for location and it wouldn't put me off going again. The only thing I didn't like as much was the idea you ordered your own food from the tablet - not much opportunity to interact with waiting staff, which is sometimes part of the magic of dining out. Nevertheless, a great meal and no room for dessert.

The family love it here,Food is fab and kids love ordering on the pad set in the table.would highly recommend

The food here is absolutely divine and the meat is cooked to perfection!

The table we were seated at had an interactive menu that you could order from and it made it super easy to place orders without having to grab the attention of one of the staff!
You can order both food and drinks from the menu!

The place itself is really comfortable and cosy and definitely looks welcoming, along with the really cool story about the dirty bottles it s a quirky little place to come!

Fabulous food with quick self ordering on the iPad. Beer and Cider taps on table which is an added bonus..cocktails are definitely worth a try too A+

We went there for date night with another couple, food was amazing! Service was fab. We will certainly be back in the near future.

Fabulous rooms, amazing food, huge portions, unique features with pour yourself beers, inexpensive, great happy hour, a real unique experience, a welcome change from the average, normal chain style pub. Will be back!

Food was good, nice and hearty. Decent selection of beer. Didn't take advantage of the self-serve taps on the table but they were nice and novel. Ordering via tablet was nice and easy and the service was good.

The roof garden was also a nice place for a drink.

Food was excellent but it was freezing inside. Had to wear our coats. Also service a bit slow.

Really nice food (based around an American BBQ menu), and a lot of tables have there own beer tap, so you can just pour your own pint! Recommend

Lovely atmosphere. No load music. Friendly staff and the most EXCELLENT food.. we had the sharing plater, this came out on a large tray and it needed to be as the amount of food you get us unreal. LOADS OF IT.

Will DEFINITELY be going again.

Cool looking pub with nice substantial smokehouse food

Dirty bottles has great ambience and fab waiting staff. However, the meat I ordered was drier than the desert and tougher than Tyson. Didn't enjoy it. Sorry

Lovely little pub in Alnwick, usually have to book a table if you want to eat there.

Went for the young ones birthday the meals were very nice it's definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely loved it! Huge portions for reasonable prices. A grand mix of new technology and old style bbq! I loved the ipad ordering, the beer aps on the table, the beer keg sinks and urinals! My favourite eatery in Alnwick

Booked for 4pm and were a few minutes late. Reprimanded and told we would have to hurry up as they needed the table at six. Food lovely and drinks good prices lovely atmosphere. Service quite good but not really friendly. Loved how you just paid at the bar for what you had. Definitely go back.

Nice place for food & drink. Excellent for burgers & smokehouse meats. Shared 3 meats & 2 sides with my husband. Onion rings & skinny fries a bit greasy, ribs could have done with a bit more sauce, but the pulled pork & fajita chicken very nice. Craft beers on offer too.

Food was good service very poor took a long time for food to arrive which made a visit to theatre late show had already started.

This place is lovely! We spent the weekend in Alnwick and stayed here. We had food on Saturday evening too. Food was delicious, cocktails were great and service was amazing. The guy who looked after us the whole time was brilliant and made us feel very welcome. Thanks, we'll definitely be back!

Really great food & interesting ordering service via the tablets. Well worth a visit.

Nice looking place. Only had bar nibbles but they were nice. Service was dis-interested at best. Lots of reserved tables at 3pm in the bar. Nobody arrived at them for the 2 hours we were there and I saw 3 different groups come and leave because they couldn't get a table.

Great atmosphere and accomodating staff. The portions are huge. A little too huge in my opinion as you feel bad leaving so much. The dessert menu never got a look in...
