White 8 seater cab from Orlando universal studios....

White 8 seater cab from Orlando universal studios. Left On October 23rd at 4:30pm and was dropped off at Champions Gate. Driven by an older man from Jamaica , was told it would be a flat rate of 45 dollars asked driver to pull over and let us out after the meter hit 52 dollars, then was aggressively told to pay in cash, after we confirmed being able to pay with Card, the driver then was threatening us to go find an ATM else he wouldn't leave. Absolutely disgusting customer service! Ended up having to pay 50 dollars cash before he would allow us to go, I will be expecting a full refund. Do not expect to be threatened when trying to get around!

I'm from Canada. My 14yr old daughter recently flew down to Orlando to go on a cruise with her Aunt but first they wanted to go to Universal Studios. After an exhausting flight and a full day of rides they took a Diamond Cab to check into their hotel. After checking in my daughter realized that she had left her backpack in the cab, and it had her passport in it. Lots of phone calls (and tears) ensued but by the next day when her passport didn't show up they decided to go on the cruise regardless and worry about getting home after. As you can imagine I was going out of my mind with worry about how I was going to get my daughter home, when we recieved a phone call from Diamond Cabs. They found her backpack and were willing to ship it to us in Canada. Not only was her passport in there, but all of her cash was still in there too. Diamond Cab company went above and beyond to get me my daughter's passport quickly so i could get her home. They are honest and kind, and I will be forever grateful for all they have done.

By far the worst cab experience I have ever had. The cab was over an hour late of my reservation. I received a call 10 minutes past my reservation saying the cab was running late. Because they didn't have an estimate I figured it would show up in a couple minutes. The dispatcher couldn't even get a hold of the driver to find out when he would be showing up. When the cab finally showed up to my resort he was at the wrong gate. So after trying to tell him there was another gate he got angry at me saying the dispatcher gave him the wrong information (although the dispatcher told me he wouldn't answer the phone). So I told him to stay there and I would walk the half mile or so to where he was at. It would have probably helped if he could speak better English. By the time I walked there he left without even calling me. So I had to call the dispatcher to find that out. From there the dispatcher only offered to send another cab. . . are you kidding me???? Like I would ever want to get in one of their cabs after this. They wouldn't even send a courtesy cab for all of my time I lost because of them.
I don't usually write reviews, but I don't want anyone to have to go through what I did today.

I d leave zero stars if I could because our cab driver who drove us from universal to our hotel(.9 miles) told us our fare was going to be $10 even though the signs all over the cab(and the stand we booked cab at) said other rates for fares. I asked him why and his response was okay, $100. I have other people waiting who will pay me whatever I say. So I just stared in disbelief at this guy s unprofessional attitude, his response was I m playing... I have to play right? Then he changed it to $8 which still wasn t the correct fare for our distance traveled, so I questioned again, and he told us to get out. I tried to get the driver to tell us how much we actually owed and not some random made up amount, but he kept telling us about the lines of people at universal waiting to take his cab who would be glad to pay that price. So he told us not to pay and to get out because we were holding up his business. He never even turned the meter on, for the record. I gave him $6 cash which was more than the amount we actually owed for going .9 miles, and got out. He peeled away before I could even close the door behind me and nearly ran over my boyfriends foot in the process. Worst cab experience I ve ever had. Whatever you do, call a different cab company and save yourself the b.s.(and save yourself from potentially being ran over)

I have had multiple encounters where the drivers of this cab company have come close to hitting other drivers on the road. They drive carelessly and their dispatch center is more focus on fighting with you than to to your feedback

I booked the Cab for 5:30, and got a call at 5:20 ...

I booked the Cab for 5:30, and got a call at 5:20 asking where i was at. I informed the driver i wasnt at the location yet and would be there at 5:30. "You're kidding me!" Is what he told me and proceeded to talk to me in a very unprofessional and unkind manner. At 5:31 as i was approaching the cab, HE DROVE OFF! I was called two minutes after that at 5:33 and was told that he left because i was late.

In summary,
The drivers are unkind and unprofessional. Terrible experience, i do NOT recommend this company.

Don't use this cab service. I called on Wed. for a p.u. on Thursday at 4 p.m. to get to the airport. I also confirmed my reservations on Thursday morning. At 4:01 I picked up my cell phone to call and saw that they called and left a message. The message said the driver was stuck in traffic, but I needed to call back. I called back and the line was busy. I kept calling, about 15 times and it was always busy. In the meantime, my sister was calling other cabs. I finally got through and the girl informed me that they cancelled my reservations because I didn't answer my cell phone and didn't call back. I told her that I had tried many times to call and the line was always busy. She said they were aware of the phone problems and they still cancelled my ride. What??? She said they would send someone out again. Yellow cab got their first. Called Diamond back and cancelled. I do have to say that the girl making the reservations was very professional and apologetic as I was losing my cool. I won't call them again.

Tried to use this company for a ride from Universal to our hotel. I gave driver hotel address and name and driver was upset because the gps on my phone wasnt easy to use for him to get there. The driver was also upset because I didnt know how to get there or what road to take. Seriously? How about you come to my city and tell me where you're going. Dont use this company, go with Mears.

January 1, 2020 at around 8:40 pm took a taxi from Universal Studios Orlando to my hotel to pick up luggage at nearby hotel then to MCO. It was Diamond Cab vehicle #385. Please beware! I had my children in the taxi too. I thought it was interesting at first because I noticed the man was driving quite slow for a taxi driver. But it was when we got on the interstate to the airport it became terrifying. Our driver stopped in the middle of the highway twice with no other traffic stopped other than him! He only went at a speed of about 50 mph when I pleaded with him to go faster because we were going to get hit from behind by cars going 80 mph. Mostly, he stayed between 20 to 40 mph. On the highway! It got so bad I was texting 911 for help. I asked him if something was wrong with his car. He said, No. I asked him why he was going so slow. He wouldn t speak. Wouldn t say anything. I was sitting directly behind him but my children were saying his hands were shaking as he was holding the steering wheel. I called Diamond Cab as soon as I got to the airport to file a complaint and tell them our driver put us in danger. I pressed the option for dispatch and it hung up. I pressed the option for other calls and it hung up. No way to get ahold of anyone. My advice to you: have an exit plan. I should have insisted he pull over and let us out. I would have stood on the side of the highway. It was that frightening. We are so lucky we weren t hit and killed. And the whole time, the guy didn t say a word while I m yelling at him to not stop on the highway.

Tried to charge three times the normal rate for a route our family is familiar with. Texting and making phone calls while driving, even swerved out of our lane at one point. Refused to put the route on the screen so I could see it. When I told him to pull over, he tried to "convince me" to stay by saying no one would pick me up at the hotel I was dropped off at, and saying he was my friend. Terrible experience, probably never get a cab ever again because of it. Lyft picked me up at the hotel after 5 minutes and charged a reasonable rate, in spite of the warning from my cab driver. I was scared and extremely uncomfortable.

Warning! Danger! Avoid this company if you reall...

Warning! Danger! Avoid this company if you really need a reliable cab service. We made reservations several days in advance, got a confirmation email, and a phone call to confirm. So far so good. The cab was on time to pick us up (and the driver kindly waited a half-hour for us and we generously tipped her), so no problem there. However, even though the driver reminded us several times to be waiting for her on time at the designated pick-up spot, she never showed up. We called to ask where our cab was, but the dispatch couldn't tell us anything. We took the Sunrail home, so no tragic ending, but we were left stranded.

My girlfriends were in town, which always seems like a celebration, so we decided to cab it to/from City Walk for the evening. Our driver was courteous and the cab was clean. Price seemed fair. I personally do not believe in Uber's ability to properly vet drivers (background checks) so I always use cabs.

Arrived late into Orlando on a recent Saturday eve...

Arrived late into Orlando on a recent Saturday evening and hailed a Diamond cab for a short ride to an off airport hotel. Once we were on the way I realized the driver hadn t triggered the meter and was told the ride would be a flat rate of $20 (should have been no more than five to seven dollars. When I demanded a printed receipt I was handed a business card and told I could write my own. I promptly called Diamond offices and wax told someone in management would contact me the following Monday. Eight days later, of course, no call. Now one of two things. Either no one cares or someone is complicit. Either way they are just as guilty as the crooked driver. Fortunately I took pictures and had the receipt conversation recorded by another on our trip and will be submitting it along with my case to the FMCSA as soon as I arrive home. Bottom line - Watch out for this company anywhere in the Orlando area.

Horrible experience, driver threatened to call the police due to a card reader issue his systems were having! Changed the price on me and the cab was dirty. Uber and lyft were cheaper and a better option that I should have chose. Do not use this company.

I'm giving this a three star review because the drivers tended to be unprofessional. They complained when we requested to pay with card, even though they only needed to press a button. I understand that everybody has bad days, but it seemed like all of the drivers were always having a bad day. The cars were clean for the most part, and they got you were you need to go. So there's that.

The ride seemed safe and was on time however vehicle was in a bit of disrepair. The most irritating part was when the driver was talking through the process of using his credit card machine he kept yelling to press the button that would give him the largest tip as I was reading the listed prompts. I also rode with a competing company during my Orlando stay and the driver was substantially more pleasant and ethical/honest.

The cab didn t have air condition. The driver, Joseph, acted like he knew where he was going and last minute told us to put the directions in OUR GPS which we didn t understand the first time he told us due to his accent. When we brought it up on OUR GPS, he missed the turn which added cost to our ride. He also turned into the wrong plaza. When asked if we had to pay for his mistake, he just shrugged and said yes. He is the taxi cab driver so he should be the one using GPS and know where he is going. Uber is half the cost for the same trip. We only used the cab b/c they were already at the location we were at. Don t use this taxi cab service. They are terrible.
