The customer service lady who served me was excellent and very friendly too. Working in speed with a smile and not annoyed with the bombarding questions at the same time. The only downside is waiting time. There are 10 customers waiting but only 2 CS. Hey management! Can you please allocate another customer service to the service counter. Let's not burn out your employees and caused frown.

I have done maybe 15 shipments (import and export)...

I have done maybe 15 shipments (import and export) with DHL Singapore in 2017 so far. I gave them 2 stars as their core competency, quick delivery is there. My overseas shipments have reached or been sent out all within 18 - 72 hours, great. 2 Stars cause their staff in their payroll are grossly incompetent. Out of the 15 shipments with them, maybe 5 went smoothly (no problems), rest always had issues, which is solely the fault of admin staff. Issues like package dropped off (in their system), did not show tracking, call them and blamed shipper (even when I had a receipt picture). Or like when I used their system to export, system said pick up from my shop, asked to change to home, she said cannot, so changed pick up date, then they went to my house for a failed pickup. There are other stories, but you get the picture.The only reason these people have their jobs seems to be DHL has their core competency in order to support these loads of useless people. If management ever reads this, its time to think why the high rate of admin failures.

Absolutely horrific experience. Needed and paid for delivery of an IMPORTANT document by 9am. Ended up waiting for 3 hours to be told that we had to travel across the island pick up our document from their Tai Seng warehouse. Unacceptable and upsetting for a "reputable" company.

Nonchalant DHL USA failed in informing and until I called DHL Singapore, then realized my package was rejected at the US customs due to lack of details of the items in the package. DHL had not advised beforehand. How could DHL be so inexperienced and negligent?!!! Even refund was sloppy, took more than three weeks than what was communicated.

Very good service. I was surprised that the office remains open on weekends and especially Sundays as that is very helpful for working individuals to send parcels or letters.
My wife works at DHL and we're super proud of that!
Great job DHL, keep it up!

Poor time coordination. Our shop is opened from 8.30am to 12.15pm, 2pm to 5.15pm and 7pm to 9.45pm. But the delivery guys always want us to open longer to suit their time. Otherwise, the reply would to "You wait loh, we will come in a few days time". We have 2 to 3 deliveries per week and this is causing much frustration.

Was told by DHL my parcel would be delivered before 1 pm when I called early in the morning. By ten to one and still no sign of DHL, I called the hotline and was told the parcel was not coming and was asked if I wanted to reschedule my parcel to the afternoon. I asked to speak to the manager. Waited for five minutes, I hung up the phone in exasperation. This is DHL for you.

Be mindful that DHL makes use of sub-contractors with poor quality service. When contacting DHL on this, their reply will be that it is the sub-contractor at fault and not them and thus the blame cannot be DHL. This has been happening more and more and service through DHL has fallen a great deal. It is now probably Don't Hope, Lament. That's what DHL means. Parcels are delayed even though they charge the earth for it, service is poor becuase it is the customer who is at fault and at the mercy of the company. I have found alternatives already and urge you to consider carefully before engaging. Buyer beware.

I hope DHL is aware that there is a mobile number +65-97244787 impersonating as DHL branch office at Changi Airport asking customers to verify their phone number by pressing "9" at the end of the message (delivered in mandarin), which leads to nowhere. I am posting this as I have received at least 3 attempts from these types of suspicious calls using DHL as their Identity.

I'd like to express my sincere thanks to DHL (s) for its excellent service, especially to Michelle Ong who helped arrange to collect and send back my bag with a laptop inside that I lost overseas a few weeks ago. Without her patience and continuous efforts, I won't be able to get back my bag so smoothly. Actually it is not an easy job, and many other courier companies rejected my request. Now DHL got it done successfully. I'm happy DHL has such wonderful staff like Michelle and the team in Malaysia. I hope they can read this and know how much they are appreciated.

Extremely slow service. Waited 50 minutes just to drop off a parcel with labels and everything paid online. If everything is already printed with customs declaration and all that paperwork. Why do we need to queue so bloody long???

First delivery was postponed to the next day, following day delivery was said to reach by 10.30am. Right now its already 10.45am and location shows driver still far away.
Going to be late for an important appointment in town because of the parcel that I need for the appointment.
They should not use the word express, slow and unreliable.

I arranged for an item to be shipped from Singapore to Australia. I specifically requested for the item to be shipped temporarily into Australia and to be shipped back to singapore in a week. I asked for no duties and taxes to be paid because it s a temporary clearance and had applied for a permit. I asked for verification if I would need to pay duties and taxes and the reply was no because I had the permit and only had to pay for the permit application fee. Upon arriving in Australian shores, DHL Australia told me that they can t do temporary clearance and I have to pay duties and taxes of 10%, which is in the tens of thousands. I wasn t able to raise the money in such a short time, especially since I wasn t expected to pay duties and taxes.

Deeply disappointed with the level of service, competency and knowledge with international shipping. Would definitely not recommend and not ship with DHL ever again. Please only use DHL at your own risk.

It is understandable given the on going Covid-19 situation that you would have staff working from home. What is not acceptable however is how unprofessional they are when doing so. Clearly distracted by something else she deemed more important than the call she was taking, your customer service staff was barely engaged and simply gave one word answers when she bothered to respond.

Why does DHL take a whole week to deliver to China yet in Europe it s a matter of 48-72hrs ????someone can only travel to China 2 days1 week It s too long something needs to be done on the system because sometimes some things are needed on time !

DHL collection and drop off center in the central area. Well situated. If you need to pick up parcels before they are delivered. You can mak an appointment and head to this place to pick it up.

First is my document from CH-SG. They stated that sender put wrong postal code so it's landed on other side of island warehouse. The admin suggest me to pick up if i need it urgently as they might take 2 days to fix their problem and send back to me. I make trip down to their warehouse @Tai Seng ( the lady on the call make sure it was there. i even ask twice for the address location to make sure it really there) and ask them not to proceed with delivery so i can self collect and i reached there only to found nothing. the CS said that they already process it and bring the doc to GEM jurong. Oh wow..
Second, this parcel from Japan - Sg.
Rate is very high and the japan DHL only notify my sender that the parcel is too open ( the wooden crate not fully covered) so they will require an export packing. AND never said the volume size will be DOUBLED.
I only know this after all the delivery done. I'M VERY SHOCK TO OPEN My door with greeting from such a big box (that i can even sit inside and hide ) for item 40x45x45cm. and they charge me bills from $486 to $968.
They not even ask my consent as the account owner when they do this over size packing.

had settled this matter with Acc Manager after more than half a year case.. But i think you should do better as a big and reputable company.

Once again a job well done by DHL! My shipment arrived intact and before the intended time. Truly living up to the express service. Excellent customer service and experience. Very polite and willing to go all out to assist in my questions . Fantastic, love it, would use it again

Opt for an expensive express to deliver fast. It's been almost 1 month and the shipment haven't arrived yet. This is my first time using this courier and it has been a disappointing experience. Can't help but wonder if the delicate and expensive item I sent is still intact or not when it arrives or will it arrive. I can't really recommend and will not opt for it again.

DHL is in my opinion, the best courier in the whol...

DHL is in my opinion, the best courier in the whole of Singapore. An SMS is always sent a few days prior to select delivery option. International parcels are always almost delivered in 2 days and collecting timings are adhered to, if not usually earlier.

I had changed the collection method once and people on the helpline were also very helpful. Overall its super easy to arrange for parcel collection as compared to most other services.
