I called avatar to get information to begin services for a family member, I spoke with the intake coordinator and she explained everything very detailed and went over my family members insurance benefits. She was very polite and very patient. The nursing department has gone above and beyond for my family.

Avatar provides great service , I want to thank Marie in the therapy department and nursing department.

My grandma receives provider services and I am very pleased with the services.The ladies there are awesome and would greatly recommend this Agency to anyone.

I have been working here for 3 years in Provider Dept as CNA/Field Supervisor and I must say the patients always come first. Myself and supervisor Erica take patients as our # 1 priority to the point where us ourselves will go and make sure patient is seen and is beyond satisfied. Owner Felix is very rude, he terminated my home physical therapy and occupational therapy because his nurse was not a good match for me. He terminated my services without contacting me. I have reported him to Kepro service to file a grievance against his company. I ve also heard other patients have had the same issue with him. Stay away from this company if your needing help because he gives nothing. BEWARE

Marie in therapy is the best always helps me out when I need anything

I have an aunt in home health care memory through an agency in East Texas unit and a mother-in-law in in a health care memory facility. We have been through every home issue that exists.
By the time I got my terrible news of untreatable lung cancer, I knew that i had found what I was looking for in that kind of service. These ladies go far beyond their duties to get you what you need, often before you realize you what those needs are. Because they are well informed and compassionate and EXPERIENCED, there were the perfect choice. I am extremely, EXTREMELY pleased with the care I've received in the past 5 months. They are truly angels. They will meet your needs before you realize you need them, but most importantly, they will meet your needs, keep you posted, explain why changes are being made and you realize under any other circumstances, they could have been your best friends.
My advice - it's your life; most probably nearing the end of your life so get the very best. You deserve it.

The staff providing the personnel for our needs, did a good job finding the right fit our needs.

This is the worse agency to work for. Josie is not a fit supervisor at all. She makes promises and never keeps up with them. If you let her know about it she gets mad and start to make you feel like you aren't worth nothing. If you get a hold of Mr. Felix, she makes sure she gets on your case. Like we already told you we don't have work? Or makes up stuff. She never gets back to people and not even the clients. Mr. Felix doesn't respect the clients. I witness him talking with no respect to one of my client because he was trying to defend Josie. It was so sad. After Josie was in trouble she decided to call my patient to let her know she was in trouble caused of her. Who does that? JOSIE! Please if your looking for a decent job. This is not the job for you. I will report them because everything they do is so unacceptable. Worse company ever. Please don't let your love one have a company like this. Do some research. A lot of people who work here would tell you how bad of a company Avatar is.

All the staff were very kind. My mother's nurse was very caring. If anyone else in my family needs home health care I am definitely using Avatar's services again.

At first they were okay. They now refuse to come out to my property to check on my 65 year old mother because a grass snake was on my porch and my son picked it up to relocate it. Now no one wants to come out.

My mom was very closed to Margaret, she like the way Margaret took care of her. My mom past away about fours years now. Margaret is now taking care of my dad who is 85 yrs young. Only giving one star because there is no zero stars! When I complained about the physical therapist sent to my home for trying to have me do exercises I was told by my doctor to not do and coming to my home with a cold this company became defensive and never would find another therapist to send to my home. If there business is in helping those that can't help themselves and are sick maybe...they should rethink their response to clients complaints.

Josie, the manager, makes promises, however, she has no follow through. For example, she said that they would send a provider to care for my mother, who is ill. My expectation was that the provider would be provided rather quickly. However, it was a couple of weeks before a provider was sent. Every time I followed up to find out When my mother would receive a provider, I would get the run around and empty promises. If you commission a company to provide assistance for an ill family member and they don't deliver, it makes you question the integrity and motives of the company. I would NOT recommend this company what so ever.
