I am divided to talk about this museum, it is for me more for children than adults, although some parts are very interesting. The architecture is impressive, the cost of its construction and the pharaonic works; a very particular object posed at the south entrance of Lyon

Amazing piece of architecture, and a very nice placement. The museum is quite a walk away from the city centre. The exhibitions inside the museum weren't that great and especially not the temporary ones.

I went there with an apriori! But this museum is clearly fantastic! The building is just amazingly beautiful! Fully integrated on the confluence site. The permanent exhibition on evolution is just totally unmissable, just take the time to watch videos on the classification and evolution of species! Unfortunately I did not or do everything. Cool a weekend in Lyon in perspective!

A nice mess. Temporary exhibitions are fleeing (traumatic for children, useless for adults).
NOTHING is organized or explained, objects are sorted by color, or not sorted at all. If certain objects have a legend, you must consider yourself happy.
All those who knew the museum Guillemet must regret it ... (Especially for 9 the entry)

To spend more pleasant moments, I advise the bird park in Villars-les-Dombes for what is "birds" (live moreover), the safari of Peaugres for other animals (alive), the crazy stones in Saint -Jean-des-Vignes for dinosaurs and fossils, the Museum of Printing in Lyon for modern human evolution (which can easily be coupled with the Museum of Automata, always in Lyon) and finally the Gallo Roman Museum, in Lyon again.

The old collection of the Guillemet museum stands out in this modern setting! The decomposition of the rooms is a little disconcerting, but those with dinosaurs and animals are very impressive, and will delight young and old alike!
Very pleasant on weekdays, crowded on weekends.
The temporary exhibitions are worth a look.

If you pass through Lyon it is worth spending an afternoon there.
Nice inside and out.
Attached to the river and with many salad to visit, it is easily reached by tram.
The restaurant inside the museum is also very good, very beautiful although it is not cheap.

Excellent museum! Beautiful modern design. A multitude of permanent and temporary exhibits. You are almost certain to find something of interest at the Musee de Confluence. Entrance is included in the Lyon CityPass. The temporary exhibit of the collection of headdresses from around the world was breathtaking.

Very beautiful building. The permanent exhibitions are very interesting. Certain temporary exhibitions, on the other hand, are completely devoid of interest to me like plonk and replonk. There is so much to see in the other rooms, don't waste too much time here. The mini monsters exhibition for children is great, however, for young and old!

A truly superb visit.

A truly superb visit.
An irreproachable presentation.
A great staging.
A success.

In a special structure at the confluence of the Lyon rivers. At the edge of a really special neighborhood that has undergone a particularly successful modern facelift. This museum is a special nature museum! Lots of information in each exhibition. To get the most out of this information it takes a few days !! Everything is presented at a high level and quality. There are also rotating exhibitions. In short a must-see museum. The building itself is very special. And the surrounding neighborhood is amazing. Take your time and walk in between the blocks and you will see an environmental landscaping that gives a sense of forest. What's great about the neighborhood is that it does not look like a luxury neighborhood. But she's beautiful! In short a visit to the museum and its surroundings convinced me that Lyon is a wonderful city.

As always, I am amazed at the lack of light in the rooms! In the temporary exhibition on beetles, you have to be very careful not to run into other visitors and risk losing your children! It is so dark that we do not even see the walk at the big window, where falls. But why on earth, is there no light? In short, I was very disappointed by this exhibition, very technical, little fun for young children. A lot of noise, not much in the end.

As you could see with all the other reviews next to mine. This place is essential in Lyon. Whether it's seeing its iconic exterior or its interior filled with history. This place is made for adults and children!

Enriching for its general culture offer. This place allows us to better understand the world in which we live!

I have very fond memories of my visit.

I have very fond memories of my visit.

All the people working there are generally very nice and polite, from the security guards at the entrance to the various "guides" inside.

The exhibitions are very beautiful, diverse and lively. We also find real little beasts there (migale, black widows, scorpions, blue frogs, black and yellow frogs, etc.).

2 flats:
- The price of parking which is quite expensive.
- I took an entry at 5 for young people 18-25 years old, price which does not drop until 5pm which is very unfortunate because it leaves us little time to visit and appreciate the entire museum and workshops, given that the closure is at 7 p.m. An extra hour would have been perfect!

Lyonnaise, I take advantage of each temporary exhibition to make a jump to the museum. The expo (permanent and temporary) are at the top, for example the aquariums installed for the temporary exhibition Venenum!
Comfort side heating not excessive that can keep his jacket, the toilet and nickel cheap fast food.
Side discomfort the entrance. A nightmare. Whatever the time, whatever your ticket, you wait outside without knowing why. The security they say (yesterday I waited in the cold when I had (I thought I had since I printed the invoice actually) a cut-line ticket, then I went with an Opinel in my bag ( Oops), there I found that there was no one at the checkouts while there was a crowd outside forbidden to take the stairs, I did the exhibition Light without being asked my ticket ( that I did not have), in short it's great anything, we make people wait for nothing, endless waiting for zero security).
