A wonderful exhibition of headgear worldwide. Ordered the ticket over the internet, it didn't work. With order number I could pay at checkout. That did not work with NL contactless debit cards. Later I understood that it works with pin. Very friendly and patient staff. Bring your mask. On the 4th floor a nice eatery

The museum teaches us things on very precise and very interesting themes, it is a very lively museum which offers 4 permanent exhibitions and 4 temporary exhibitions. If you go up to the top of the museum you can admire all of Lyon.

This museum is a very good idea of outing. One floor is occupied by the permanent exhibitions that I rediscover each time with emotion, and the other floor is composed by exhibitions that are renewed each time. I always enjoy discovering this museum to family and friends.

Because the original planned itinerary was completed early, and I found that there was still time, I came to the Confluence Museum, which made me want to be lacking in my homework beforehand. After the event, I am really glad that my other itinerary has been completed early, or else I will miss this museum that I can get close to in my mind.
Most of the collections displayed in the museum are not very special and unique. They are not like the Louvre and the British Museum. However, the museum uses very solid stories, concepts, words and rich design. Every exhibition in the creative hall is packed perfectly! Every time I entered a pavilion, I opened up some visions. I didn't expect that the "packaging skills" would make the humanities museums everywhere have such amazing vitality and appeal.
If there is still a chance to go to Lyon, you will definitely have time to go to the exhibition in the museum to taste it.

Great !!

Wonderful
You were able to synthesize and highlight the main riches that I had in mind
Thank you

Very disappointed. Difficult access if you want to come by car. We have the feeling of a huge lost place. Some staging is perplexing like showcases where the lighting varies constantly, so you have to wait for the light to come back to observe an object or read a sign.

Beautiful architecture and the exhibits are quite nice but not very expansive. The building itself is a work of art providing excellent views of the river and the surrounding area. The exhibits, while lovely, will not take even the most ardent enthusiast more than 3 to 4 hours to view. Still very much worth the cost of admission just don't plan to spend more than a few hours at most looking at the exhibits. There are multiple parks including Luna Park Lyon Confluence

To leave in book 2017 few families present while the security service empties the entire handbag c is a useless search we know that there are unfra red or iron systems for the safety of goods and people this equipment could be used and thus limit the queues in a very frequent place

Personal opinion, from the outside I still do not like this building because it is for me pompous architecture, too complex and the cost of manufacturing and maintenance crazy!
Inside, the museum presents the "old world" museum Guimet and some novelties. After all Lyon have gone there once, and despite the temporary exhibitions, will there be enough foreign tourists to supply the coffers and prevent the operating deficit from plunging even more? That's the question!

SPECTACULAR! ... A very interesting museum, the temporary exhibition was magnificent, the fixed exhibitions we did not have time to see them calmly, a pity. Think you'll be more than four hours!

It is really a beautiful tourist place to visit. It has a beautiful interior and exterior view. There are sections that are free to access while others will ask you to provide a ticket that some like around 9 euros for one of my 30s and over. But 5euroa for the youngest. Try to visit the place. Thank you

Very nice scenography of the pieces and temporary exhibition. The architecture of the building that we like or not, but that does not leave indifferent.
The roof of the building is accessible even without paying the entrance ticket and offers a nice view.

Museum "to do" in several times; temporary exhibitions are always interesting. The strolling (arrows) a little tiring. I only put 4 stars because parking big problem for people with disabilities. A little gourmet break, is needed at Pignol.

A good museum with interesting exhibits (Mention for antartica). The museum management has chosen to focus on a young audience. We are therefore sometimes unsatisfied because we would like to know more and more. The price is 9 for an adult.

I advise you to book your ticket on the museum's website. The line outside the museum can sometimes be very long due to the controls at the entrance.

We went without knowing what we would see and we came out without knowing what we saw.
Gathering scattered collections while trying to create dummy links is a difficult art. Even by dressing it up with a pseudo-humanist "Mac-Donald" fast-food populo-thought-and-you-see-and-do-it theme, it's not enough to produce exhibitions. interesting.

You also created your own exhibition "Museum of confluences" it's easy: just take a theme ultra general, for example "sky and humanity", and produce: a battery of pots and a stuffed polar bear to evoke the constellation of the Big Dipper, a hang glider, a drone, a collection of stuffed and fossilized birds, a workshop to learn how to make paper airplanes, pieces of meteorites, representations of the sky in the aboriginal paintings.
Your turn !
In a way, this museum is the witness of its time, that of the leveling down and the need to zap from one subject to another in the moment, from one hyperlink to another. A bling-bling entertainment to deceive his boredom or laziness in the effort to understand, or his fear of the unknown and the novelty.
I would add that scenography, despite its aesthetic debauchery, is by no means innovative in terms of technology, but it is rather on this point that the best museums compete, always with the aim of learning, not of entertaining.
There remain temporary exhibitions to raise the level, according to the chances of the programming.
I got out of there in a mastiff mood and strongly discourages you from visiting. It is appalling.
