Great building & location with tram stop directly outside main entrance. Had to queue in cold outside to get in through airport style security. Good range of temporary & permanent exhibitions. Worth a visit if you have a few days in Lyon.

Super museum! Remarkable architecture particularly suited to the location: Water, Crystal, Cloud.
Inside humanity, society, origin of species: only subjects particularly adapted to the moment.

With its dantesque architecture, in a powerful site, the museum presents a lot of exceptional works skilfully staged and in 2 languages (French and English). His temporary exhibitions are world class!

The architecture of this museum is truly impressive. Everything is new and in picture windows.

This large museum has multiple permanent exhibitions on the origins of the world, man and society or even the relationship of man to death.
Others, more original, on poison and another on archaeological and zoological discoveries as well as a wing devoted to all the species that have populated the Earth.
Everything is perfectly explained through short but rich statements.
What impressed me the most is the general presentation and the variety of exhibitions which immerse us in a universe of discoveries as interesting as intriguing.

Excellent museography with a complete collection both in terms of geography and history. Division of rooms according to the philosophical challenges of different civilizations and their relationship to the living world. Each room presents the similarities and specificities of different human peoples on the subjects of creation, death, the development of civilization and contact with nature. All accompanied in parallel by a very complete scientific explanation in particular concerning the creation and the appearance of life. To visit absolutely, especially if you are studying philosophy, arts, History or HEC prep.

The museum architecture is beautiful and modern. The location is fantastic at the meeting if the rivers. Visited two of the temporary exhibits, one on headdresses and the second on prisons. Both were well curated and thoughtful. Each one had a different feel and experience suitable to the subject matter.

Very beautiful exhibitions in this museum where I like to take a tour each time I visit Lyon, the staging and the atmosphere that reign in the temporary exhibitions make them unforgettable!
Well done and thank you!

Nice museum.

Nice museum.
I was part of a group that had received a free visit. I salute the effort of accessibility to the greatest number, however our guide was not an expert in the field of the Tuaregs. Too bad, some questions were not answered or were poorly developed.

A magnificent place of culture. Whether you like architecture or not, you can only admire the work done. The permanent collections are very beautiful, modern, a lot of digital technology and interaction. I was able to see two temporary collections on the Antarctic and the other on poisons it was extra.

Accessible and well designed museum. The permanent exhibition and I find it very well and suitable for children. The rooms are large and allow you to wander around without being side by side with the others.
Very nice and changing design in each room. I really appreciated
Temporary exhibitions admit to having had a preference for the tiny world and that of the prison.
I will definitely go back soon

OK

Great museum with complete internal facilities and an open interior. The temporary pavilion is very worth seeing. Students who are 25 years old are free of charge and can also choose the museum route by boat. Very recommended!
