Typical government funded nonsense. Go here, than there, just stupid show off. Especially troublesome is security guy who thinks he throw my bag out, use technology and fire such racist and unqualified people.

If you go to Lyon or if you are there for a stay this museum is really a place not to be missed in the city on the one hand by its architecture and on the other hand by the wealth of temporary and permanent exhibitions

Impressive building and equally impressive exhibits, especially the skeletons are very impressive. Unfortunately when we were there, there were no current exhibitions and there was a Japan party, so it was very crowded and noisy.

A true contemporary work. Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful museums in France, overlooking an exceptional location. The collections presented and the ephemeral programming are of high quality. Bravo for this (expensive!) Achievement. In terms of improvement, the management of admissions during peak periods could be somewhat optimized :)

A beautiful museum whether inside or outside!

A beautiful museum whether inside or outside!
The museum itself is huge and the architecture is really grand. When we come back, we are impressed by the structure all glass and metal and its complex shapes and aerial but also all the space there is! Admission is free with a student card that's very good! There is a floor with fixed exhibitions in several rooms with very varied exhibitions, such as animals, space, changing technologies, fossils, ... On the lower floor, it is the temporary exhibitions that can so change over time. There are also several rooms with 1 theme each time, a civilization, an important person, a country, or a category of insects for example.

Behind the building is a very nice little park where it is even possible to reach the tip of Confluence. We are surrounded by water.
Finally, you can access directly and easily by tram T1 located on the forecourt of the museum.

The first external impression, super modern. The next positive surprise, you can look at the museum immediately u do not pre-order days before. The entrance fee, very low. The rooms, the design of the exhibits, simply very attractive and beautifully designed. The staff very polite and friendly. Has paid off a second time to drive over, the beginning of our holiday Monday u was closed. Congratulations to the beautiful museum, u the impressive collection. The Knolls from Austria

The architecture of the building is questionable without mentioning the finishes.
The exhibitions are interesting.
We are on the side trapped when it comes time to eat with the "restaurant" on the roof.
Expensive and average.

Very nice museum. Attention a lot of rooms to visit. The last are at the pace of charge. Take a good half hour to eat on the top floor. Seen absolutely beautiful. Too bad the restaurant is only a self. The spot deserved better ...

Interesting, to spend a few hours both for temporary exhibitions, in particular the headgear from around the world and the museum of man and life. The structure and location at the confluence of two rivers is fantastic.
