Super museum with exceptional architecture, beautiful scenography and temporary exhibitions that are always original and very interesting. Classic schedules and Thursday night full of activities for children and a nice rooftop for a nice view of the view and the confluence

Very disappointing. The entrance to 9 euros is really reasonable but the museum lacks the atmosphere. The exhibitions are really eclectic and sometimes lacking explanation. There were a lot of screens and headphones that did not work. In the rooms it is really cold and sometimes the passages are quite tight (and blocked by groups and people with backpacks). The gourmet counter is the worst. The prices do not correspond at all to the quality of the food. Also the items in the museum shop are too expensive.

Not terrible, the exhibitions are off topic, we visit Japan then suddenly we come across other unrelated topics.
Although the visit is nice I think it's expensive paid for something without much interest.

Not to mention that it is impossible to park unless you pay for or come by public transport either on foot.

It's an ultra-modern building looking like a spaceship. As it often happens with these kind of architectural wonders, however, inside a lot of space is actually empty and wasted. The permanent exhibition is pretty good. The online ticket system is terribly complicated (requiring registration with full address etc). Mind you, all children can enter for free.

Very photogenic original architecture! It is also pretty inside, modern, clear, uncluttered. I almost want to say that this museum does a task in the gloomy environment that surrounds it. Easy access thanks to the tram stops right next to it.

IT IS NOT BAD FROM ... We must go there without much expectation, the structure is very large but the permanent exhibition is small compared to any other museum around the world, very small. Extreme discourtesy at the entrance checks (almost in 2020 it would be desirable that the staff spoke any language other than French and were a little more friendly), fast on-site ticket purchase (9 adult and my 16 year old daughter free) ) we leave for the exhibitions. It costs little and you can not expect more than what is there, but the path is well done, orderly and clean. Excellent captions in English as well as French. Free and very efficient Wifi. All in all it deserves a couple of hours.

Beautiful modern museum that makes you want to learn things. For each exhibition the rooms are redesigned to emphasize the subject.
The exhibition "Touaregs" is to do! Informative and moving without unnecessarily adding patos
Free admission for students
Take a tour around the museum to appreciate the landscape and architecture!

From the outside the architecture is reminiscent of a beetle but it allows to house inside the giant rooms housing huge skeletons of prehistoric animals, permanent exhibition rooms or not 2 restaurants. Booths to be told stories ... time passes very quickly ...

I am not a big fan of a museum but my wife wanted to visit it on a Sunday when the weather was not good. Well we were not disappointed: exhibitions very nice especially on the history of man.

After for lovers of knowledge, knowledge, history, science this museum is magnificent you can spend an indefinite time to discover and learn without realizing it. The exhibitions are very well done very educational for all ages.

Museum of confluences ... Meeting point of the civilization of their history. Beautiful exhibition on death and mini monsters.
There is a gourmet restaurant downstairs but also a brasserie on the last floor more affordable but less original. Do not hesitate to leave your things at the deposit which is free.

Great museum with great experiences. The curators of the exhibitions really put in a great effort to make everything work together and give the visitor an amazing experience from the entrance to the exit.

The permanent exhibition is really good, but i loved the one they have now with the insects.

Nice museum whose architecture I really liked as well as the outdoor spaces. We also have a beautiful view of Lyon.

Expo level I was still a little disappointed, I was not at all hooked with the temporary exhibition "Art and the machine". The "cabinet of curiosity" was quite nice however.

In the 2nd I visited the permanent rooms, not a big blow of heart but that is completely subjective!

The staff were quite friendly and I was entitled to a free service when I did not have my proof, like what a smile and politeness can do a lot :)

Beautiful museum. Permanent exhibitions are very well presented. Architecture like lights are very well thought out. The current temporary exhibitions are interesting with a crush on Japan.
Also note the excellent welcome to our arrival.
