Hollah at you Dessert Gallery, first time customer here,. You have the BEST Tres Leche I have ever had! Your cake pastry cabinet is full which I ended up buying three different kinds of cake and lotsa other goodies! Yay to a new found dessert place in Houston! Woot woot!!!

Pecan pie and chocolate cookie dessert were okay but nothing special. They ran out of coffee but made it in 10 minutes. They were real busy.

Great desserts, portions are fairly large and delicious. Nice laid back area to hang out and enjoy a cup of coffee as well.

Get it to go is always a challenge. As in a challenge to wait that long before eating it

This place is soooooo cute!! It is right down the street from my apartment, I did not realize it was like cafe style where you can sit and hang out with friends. I came here for the first time with my boyfriend because I was having a bad day and he felt bad for me and let me have dessert (this never happens). I can't remember what kind of cake we ordered, but it was some chocolate cake. It was so rich and delicious!! I also ordered a hot chocolate but when I got it, it was barely room temperature, so they probably forgot to heat it up or something... I asked them about it and they got me a new one to replace, though they probably just reheated the one I gave back. I haven't been back since then because I try to stay away from sweet, sugary desserts, but I would definitely come back if I was in the mood for a super cheat dessert meal as the atmosphere is really nice!!

Love the pastel color interior and the coffee smell is sense provoking!!

Yum! I'm a big fan of the milkshakes and the Old Fashioned Diner cake. Never let's me down.

I order the Tres Leches cake and it was probably best I have ever had. It was very flavorful and had a soft texture. It melted in your mouth. I would highly recommend it

Nothing special, I wasn't impressed. Just normal deserts shop like any other shop around town.

It's the kind of warm, cozy, intimate, "I need a hug" spot that either makes a great day amazing or a bad day better. The treats are outstanding, always fresh. The coffee... oh my! So good!

After the pandemic hit, they did not miss a beat. Those deliveries were just what I needed some days. The staff and the owner are so warm and kind. They know just enough about you to make you feel at home without being intrusive.

There are so few places like this. Chain restaurants are replacing the charming spots. Fortunately Dessert Gallery chose to remain more like the traditional cafes that you can dip into, grab some positive energy and freshly made muffin, and leave with a smile.

Way too sweet. Blueberry lemon cake lacked any lemon really... it was just sweet. Chocolate cake was again too sweet and did not have much of a chocolate flavor.

My apple pie was disgusting. Put a warning sign in front of this place!

I have gone to this place a couple of times and it's been a letdown. I bought a whole old-fashioned diner cake that turned out to be more icing than cake. It was pretty much a waste of money because no one would eat it. I will give it 2 stars because the staff and ambiance is nice.

Best desert place in the area! I have tried their Oreo cake, carrot cake, tres leches cake and they are all magnificent. Price could be a bit better but as they say 'you get what you pay for!'

Good desserts and large portions. Pricing is a bit high but you can get dessert late at night. Always seems to have a crowd.

They have a wide selection of cakes, cookies, and cupcakes. Unfortunately, the cappuccino machine was out of service when I visited. They also have some decent sandwiches.

Was in town for Memorial day weekend from Shreveport amd stopped in for some dessert. They're all locals and swore by the desserts. It was so many options to choose from. I decided on the cheesecake and the macadamia nut cookie that was dipped in white chocolate....yummy. It tasted as good as it sounds. When everyone in the party ordered they forgot to fill my order. But once I told them the owner filled my order and threw in a free treat and apologized. It was a great experience and will be back the next time I'm in town!

Great cake. However I did find a hair in the Italian cake underneath the icing. Overall good cakes. I would go for the lemon blueberry cake again it was worth the calories.

A true joy and a guilty pleasure. Not lunch not dinner but a treat to eat. Easy strait forward service quick and efficient. My favorite thing there is yes.

I feel like you get average desserts here and average atmosphere and service.

Drove 45 mins to take my friend to get some dessert. First time here so I told Melissa my order but forgot the name of the last dessert and went to look at the display and she rolled her eyes. Then when I gave her cash she threw my change on the counter and walked away. Wow! This is how they treat first time customers. This will never happen again because I will not be back. I asked to speak to manager but he wasn't there. Melissa should understand that her bad attitude effects the company. We went to celebrity cupcakes after my horrible encounter and they were super awsome! They made me forget about this rude dessert gallery.

Desserts are usually hit or miss, especially chocolate cake but this.... I did a happy dance my first bite. I m not a big icing fan but this icing is magical. So good.

Fantastic desserts, and a very busy location. Stopped in after a late dinner (9:00 PM) and the place was packed with a line at the counter. Bottom line Blueberry/Lemon cake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had an awesome carrot cake that had just the right amount of moisture, sugar and overall flavour. Would absolutely recommend this place as it is also realatively cheaper than other places such as the chocolate bar (but doesn't have as much variety).

The blueberry lemon cake is the best cake ever!!!! I really appreciate that dessert gallery stays open until midnight on Saturdays. The presentation of the desserts is really great. This place is definitely a favorite in Houston.

I was super full. The service here is outstanding. This place has a cool atmosphere. I see why this place has a lot of positive reviews.

We arrived here at 11:30 p.m. they close at midnight. The employees were already removing product from their display cases. We placed our order to eat in. When our order came up it was in to-go bags. We decided to eat in any way. We had pecan pie a la mode and a slice of chocolate cake. The pie like the ice cream was ice cold. Kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it? The chocolate cake was dry. I would find another late night dessert spot. May I suggest House of Pies two blocks away. Disappointed beyond belief....

This is my first time coming here and I must say I'm extremely impressed. Starting off with the ambiance of the place, it was a cute cozy feel with the smell of happiness(coffee). The staff was friendly and gave excellent serivice and advice on which treat was popular. Now to the actual treat-- These cupcakes are delicious! Omg, I wanted to buy each and everything on the menu because it all looked so good. I swear it is a must try if you are a dessert fanatic (and this is coming from a not so much of a dessert fanatic) I got these two bad boys (carrot cake and red velvet) and enjoyed every bite of the frosting and cake itself. Both were moist and decadent. The frosting was not overly sweet and it was a good portion for me, seeing as I don't like much frosting. Overall, I'll be back and when I have an event, y'all will be catering! Worthy of these 5 stars!

Me and my family went here for my mom s birthday, and they had the absolute most delicious cupcakes ever!

Dessert Gallery has a delicious assortment of Cakes! The cakes are not dry and have good icing! The atmosphere is also nice and has always been clean when we go there.

Very cute little dessert shop, I got a nice sized petite four because I flippin love petite fours, my son got a cute little cupcake, and my dad ordered some kind of moose cake which was really nice but also crazy rich and decadent. But it was such a cute place and everything did taste wonderful!

Are used door dash to order cake. It s literally the only thing I ve been craving post-surgery. I ve ordered the blueberry lemon and the Oreo mousse cake (not sure exact name) and it has literally made my days.

As someone with Celiac Disease, Dessert Gallery is my go to for gluten friendly treats!! I LOVE its peanut butter truffles, chocolate decadence bars and chocolate mousse cake...you'd never know any are gluten free. Because they make so many amazing gluten free treats, they also have an amazing lineup for Passover if you're Jewish! On top of the delicious and very rich sweets (in the best way possible...seriously you feel like you're giving your mouth and stomach and gift everyone time you indulge), Dessert Gallery is so supportive of the Houston community...they're always donating a percentage of proceeds to and raising awareness for non-profit organizations like Undies for Everyone, Montrose Center, Holocaust Museum Houston and more! I love supporting this business!!

The strawberry cake, and they're vanilla cupcakes are to die for.

Very expensive for that small slice of cake $9 !!!!. You can buy two slices from other high quality bakeries for $9.

Awesome Experience!! Took a chance here as part of our Sunday Funday and this place was terrific. The cake by the slice here is pretty AWESOME!! Will definetly revisit this place in the near future.

The cakes and other sweets are amazing but when i went and ordered a hot blueberry hibiscus tea all i got was hot water and no tea once so ever and it made me really disappointed because i live far away from the gallery location so i rarely go there but this was just a huge disappointment.

I was so stuffed. The service was very welcoming and sociable. This place has an awesome atmosphere. Makes me feel like I am back in Tucson.

Disappointed that they changed the strawberry cake recipe. The old recipe tasted homemade and rich. New recipe tastes like box cake with overly sweet frosting.

I went to Dessert Gallery for the first time today. The staff was awesome!! I really enjoyed the brownie I purchased but Mom's Chocolate Cake was okay only because of the icing, next time I will get another almost baked walnut brownie and the time another kind of cake.

The manager (young lady) and crew were awesome! I also enjoyed my unicorn cake, icing and ice cream! It was a great way to end my celebration!

The Tres Leches is SO GOOD. Well actually everything is, but it s just the best. Lemon cake is also good. All the cakes are so moist and delish. Yum!!

My favorite dessert place in Houston! Dessert Gallery's toffeelicious cake and luscious lemon have been my favorite all-time cakes for years now. Cute shop too! It is a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a slice of cake with a friend and sip an espresso drink.

Everything is GOOD. They do excellent work and use care in every little detail. Superior customer service, very clean, display cases are always clean, never any fingerprints on the glass. It's so hard to pick a choice of what you would like. Worth every dime. AWESOME OWNERS AND SUPER STAFF!!
