Top and history-charged place ... Great excursion. Not necessarily recommended on extremely hot days. Still 5 stars.

Those who do not know Mycenae have missed Greek history

A beautiful site, especially for the tombs found there. Unfortunately, as in almost all Greek tourist places, the guide / audio guide is not available for the site, there is only the museum but it is poorly made and does not always work.

You have to take imagination to get an idea of how it was but its walls, its access doors, its burials ... Even in ruins make it unique and surprising.

Excellent archaeological site, I went there a priori without much enthusiasm, and finally discovering the city of Agamemnon, 3200 years old, it's fascinating and even impressive.

Beautiful archaeological site kept well and clean to visit together with the tomb of Agamemnon for the price of 12 euros.

A well-preserved fortress with a beautiful view of Argolida. It is worth climbing to the top! The earth tank for water is also interesting - one of the most interesting elements of excavations, now you can go inside and in full darkness go down several dozen stairs down.

Just Wow! 3300 years old, Amazing history! We're so glad we made it out to see Mycenea first hand! It is so incredible that this site is so well preserved. These people had amazing skills!

Very beautiful archaeological site. We would have liked more explanations on the life of the inhabitants at that time.

Unfortunately, besides four other cars, we have become the victims of a theft within our 2h stay. The cars were broken up in the parking lot. No cameras or other security measures. Responsible feels neither the police nor the operator. According to police, this happens more often. Caution - do not leave luggage in the car!

The walls are the most impressive part and preserved.
The museum is small and well done.

A mystical place, indescribable. Read Kassandra by Christa Wolff! We slept in the preseason in the parking lot directly in front of it (although it is not allowed according to a sign). All well and quiet, only the next morning drive away quickly if you do not like buses.

I thinks this might have been my favourite to visit. The walk was very easy in comparason to some of the others. 12 entrance June 2019. And the Lion's Gate was amazing.

In my opinion overrated beautiful only the entrance portal everything else leaves a lot to the image

Beautiful place, surrounded by nature. From the top you can admire a wonderful panorama. Also a few kilometers away there is also a small restaurant where you can eat very well.

Nice how it lies there in the landscape. Clear explanation and additional museum. The lion gate is really beautiful.

Large archaeological site in a suggestive position; but lacking in descriptions: few boards in Greek and English distributed in the area and no guides or audio guides available. The entrance ticket to the site also allows entry into the museum and the treasure of Atreus both well kept but, like the site, lacking in descriptions.
