It might be important for Greek history... I can understand that... but it's only a ruin of some stones and an explanation of what once was there... I didn't find it worth the travel... the thomb is a total ripoff. 12 Eur for nothing to see except a concrete like room... for the rest nothing....

Beautiful ancient Greek architecture and some incredible history behind it

The ruins of a Mycenaean fortress three thousand three hundred years old, there is nothing. It is definitely worth visiting. You should not miss the treasure of Atreus that is a little lower.

Very interesting, especially if you read the Iliad and you also know the stories of the main characters. The reconstruction of the parts of the wall, the gate of the laws and the tomb attributed to Clytemnestra are very interesting. A little further down is the tomb attributed to Agamemnon.

A real blast from the past, a place that takes you back to mythology

Archaeological site very important for Greece. Location with a magnificent view of the surroundings and also of the ruins that in many parts gives to perceive the cyclopic past, the Portal of the Lions, the Palace, the underground Cistern and also to see the tombs of Egisto and of Clitemnestra, culminating in the Tomb of Agamemnon.

Very good ruins and archaeological pieces, museum facilities were great as usual. As someone who greatly enjoys these locations, this was especially enjoyable.

Unmissable. Fortunately, 7 days were found. Because almost. All in the Sun. Here in August. With 38 degrees it is better to go there. Early in the morning...

Great place with easy access. The buildings are huge you wonder how they made them. The volume is huge. The museum is very nice it just looked a little small. Sauce with you water hat. If you have a small paper it will make it a little easier. prefer in the morning to have a little coolness

Only the lion's gate is worth the trip from Italy. The city is big and there is a lot to see ... you can breathe the air of ancient ... the olive trees, the city walls on steep cliffs ... it's a magical place ...

King Agamemnons great hall and palace! One of the very birthplaces of our european cultural heritage! If you love Homer you have to see the actual site one of the greatest heroes of ancient greek poetry

There are lots of really old structures around, most seem to be from the 13th centuary BC. Definitely a place to go.

I was impressed so deeply. It was mostly because of the past school memories. We learnt about civilizations in lessons never imagining one day you will be there. That was an amazing feeling

It needs more care because it is an important place in Western history.

It is worth a visit, but keep in mind that the ticket is for two points with a difference of about 500 meters. You will see graves, ruins of buildings, all with signs that write detailed information about each place, and finally enter the museum that also has access for people with mobility difficulties.

Actually, little is left of the palace. Great museum, interesting cave / well experience.

Historic place. What is most striking is the Puerta de los Leones.

Despite very nice experience the ancient of our ancestors amazingly. The monuments are well preserved. The place should have more care as there were a lot of weeds.

The archaeological site of Mycenae is located 90 km from Athens in the northeastern Peloponnese.
