It is geared more towards little kids but my teenager enjoyed it. It is a good place to spend an afternoon.
Great for children but everything cost money I spent a lot I bought a season pass the admiral one 199.00 plus an extra pass 30.00 but face painting anywhere from 3.00 to 7.00 feed the sting rays 11.00 for four little fish pictures 25 to 30 dollars a piece and food 30.0 per adult and 10.00 to 15.00 per child they do have some neat stuff but it took us 20 minutes to look at everything I regret buying the passes I don t think it s worth the price
We love the Denver aquarium. It's small, but what do you expect for being in the middle of Colorado. The staff is always friendly and the fish are well maintained.
It was an awesome experience, but the admission price was a bit high for what you actually got to see and do.
I try and hit the demver aquarium every time im in town. Loved this place.
Have been a member for a few years now, and Everytime we go there is always something wrong or a true pain in the puddle. We have had to wait in the membership line for pictures for our cards 3 visits in a row (20 minutes or longer), and with kids everyone knows how that can be stressful! Seems like no up front has a clue what is going on everytime!
Amazing place and great for family fun! Lots of things to do. The only downside is the parking. You'll probably be stuck in a line for about 20 minutes in your car before you can leave.
If you're looking for more family or younger kid based fun, then this is a great place to go. They have a lot of freshwater, some sharks and some really huge fish. The staff was all super nice. It was pretty crowded but not too bad.
I LOVED it. It was an outing with some out of state friends after my Halloween party. This was everyone first time going and it was super amazing. The aquarium is much bigger than what it appears to look like from the outside. We used a groupon and have had dinner. I'm planning to go again
Great place to take the kids. Best thing to do is the A1 Scuba "Try Scuba" dive in with the fishes. Tara was a patient, knowledgeable dive guide. It was an amazing experience!
All was good until I asked some gray haired lady in a white staff polo where we needed to wait to watch the 4D movie. I asked her where we needed to wait and she replied with the rudest and snarkiest what!? you will ever hear, then she proceeded to roll her eyes and walk away after saying what two more times. She appeared to be in upper management based off of her uniform. Luckily the nice blond girl working near her overheard the conversation and helped us out. I m not sure who she is, but the gray haired woman is definitely not friendly and probably shouldn t have a customer service job.
Other than that the aquarium was nice. There isn t much to see, but what was there was pretty cool!
Great aquarium! Well taken care of, clean and well thought out. Hands on for the kids, planned feedings and attractions.
It was good, could have been better but I liked it. Fed stingrays though.
Dislike.. terrible up keep fish with missing eyes... the fish scales looked unhealthy and they have a random tiger there.. we weren't impressed I dont recommend it
Chef came to our table and offered gluten free selections. Food was great and the setting was even better.
A solid three-star adventure. Not at all world class like Monterey or Atlanta but a good way to spend an hour. Fairly pricey, but there are coupons and other discounts available to make the cost more palatable.
Great atmosphere ! A little crowded on the weekend but that's to be expected . We'll for sure be back!
Very, very expensive. For one adult it is nearly $35. Seeing fish is not worth it.
Very nice aquarium, went on a busy day over Christmas break and had lots of fun with the kids, especially at the tiger exhibit. Only down side is that it is setup as a co to his path so there is a lot of congestion near all the good exhibits. Other than the smooshed crowd and heat it was excellent.
It was a lot of fun, they have something for everyone. Will go again
Good for kids, as an adult went through it pretty quick!
The best place to take your family for a great time in denver!!
Amazing place. Will kept and will keep you entertained.
I love this place. Great for kids and usually not too crowded.
A lot of cool tanks & fish. A few other animals too. Probably wouldn't spend the money on the stingray food & 4D movie tickets again. You are allowed to pet the rays without buying the food.
Great visit at the aquarium. It was Fri and there was lots of kids and strollers. If you have patience and don't mind that sort of thing you should go. Make advance reservations for lunch. Great service and food.
It's a lot of fun ! Fantastic for anyone of any age that still has a sense of wonder at the site of all these interesting and magnificent creatures !
Crowded and noisy but overall was an alright experience with the family.
Kids always enjoy a day at the aquarium! Worth the season pass!
I have been to the Aquarium restaurant a couple of times with my toddler but today was extra special. We went to have dinner for her 2nd birthday and things didnt start off well, service was slow, and after a table close to us left because of this, we were thinking of doing the same, but before we did, we spoke to the Manager Eric, he explained why there was a mix up of tables and slow service. Eric was fantastic help, he quickly turned everything around for us and had us attended to immediately. I enjoyed the food, we got fantastic service and were even offered complimentary tickets to the Aquarium, which made my daughter's night extra special.
This place is literally the best, I've Visited at least four times, and I always want to come back because I always have a great experience.
This is a really nice attraction to take friends and family too the restaurant is a little pricey but all in all it's a great place.
It small but nice. Most the fish seem healthy but others look very sick. Overall it cool you can even pet stingrays for free. The restaurant looks nice I unfortunately didn't get a chance to try it but it's also kind of expensive. Personally if you have a kid and the money to treat them to it I'd say go for it, and try to eat there when the mermaids are there.
My Family had fun but the price is way to much for children. They have plenty of fish but I wish there was more for the price.
Enjoyed a weekend here with my nieces and nephews and family. I am not the one to normally go in a place like this but I will say the mermaids were sexy! Lol cool place
Really neat fish and cool tank set ups. Great exhibit for all ages. Very crowded and kinda pricey.
Such a fun place! My toddler and little one loved it!
Nice aquarium, not very big though and somewhat expensive for the 20-30minutes it takes to get through it. Plan on eating elsewhere unless you want to spend some money at the Landrys Aquarium Restuarant. The mermaid show and feeding the sting rays are both fun for the kids!
Very good place to go with family and share and learn about the great variety of fish
So much to be said! Absolutely loved it!!!! Definitely worth it to get the upgraded passes!
Awesome place to take the kids I definitely recomend going on a weekday. It was my one year old 1st time and she loved it.
We couldn't make it to the sea to SCUBA dive this Valentine's Day so we spent time with our sea friends at the aquarium! This is an amazing place!
Awesome. But why is there a tiger at an aquarium? Not complaining because it's awesome
This place is a joke for 27.99 a ticket. Even the Gift shop is overpriced and poor selection. Will never go here again. Landry's should be ashamed of themselves.
As someone who loves aquariums, this place was a mistake and such a let down. If you don't have kids, it's definitely a waste of time. This attraction should cost $5 max but instead cost us $40 and only took us about 20 minutes to get through.
Loved the experience. Anytime you are visiting Denver. This is a must see. Loved it!
The aquarium is the right size for kids, and they're really the target audience. It doesn't go into as much detail as I was expecting, so it's more entertaining than educational but it's still a fun day out for them (and adults too, actually). It has a lot of marine animals, a few amphibians, and even some tropical animals (a few tigers and a parrot too). The variety is pretty good too, as it's not just your standard assortment of fish, jellyfish, anemones, and frogs, they have have barracudas and piranhas and even a tarantula.
The only downside is that it's a bit short, you can blow though it really quickly if you're out with your crew, kids will naturally extend the experience and want to see and do everything, including petting the Manta Rays
Very nice aquarium, the 4d movie was fun, and the staff were very friendly.
Prices were pretty reasonable. We had fun and enjoyed ourselves. Good size Aquarium.
I did a scuba dive in the shark aquarium and it was stellar! Great guide, tons of close encounters with the sharks, and just a wonderful experience overall.
10/10 food service kind waiter and great entertainment.
The Downtown Denver Aquarium was amazing! Very large tanks with a large variety of fish and other sea life. They even have tigers! We caught the mermaid show and were very impressed by the performers. Unfortunately, the restaurant was fully booked because it was a holiday and we did not get to try it out. If you're looking for a great aquarium experience you won't be disappointed!
It was an ok way to spend a snowy morning. Sharks were cool. Not a great spot for sensory kids. There s piped in music and crazy lighting in every room. Also saw two dead fish floating in exhibits, kind of grossed me out. Finally the flash flood area scared my kids to death.
The aquarium is a great place for kids and families!
