Stopped at a neat place at noon today - Denton County Brewery they brew an excellent Lights Out Stout.
I've stopped by several times now and am always glad I stopped by. Nice group of people and atmosphere, I recommend Denton County brewing.
Excellent brewery. I'll make this short and sweet. The beer they make is fantastic and they have a great assortment of other brewery tastings. The staff is great and there is an excellent indoor seating area. I believe on the weekends they have live music too.
Owner is super nice, friendly and attentive. We can t wait to make this our must-visit when in Denton. Tried an IPA, cider, dopplebock and blueberry ale(?) and enjoyed all of them. Quiet, urban patio on a comfortable Saturday afternoon. Staff is friendly, restrooms are clean, venue is Instagram-able but comfortable and well furnished. If you re reading this review, wondering if you should stop by, please do.

Spent a great St Patricks day in Denton. The highlight was Denton County Brewing Company. Top quality craft beer with a creamy head, stylish place and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back
What a cool place!!! I wish this brewery was around when I was in college. It s such a great addition to Denton and the Square. With all of the great bars and Resturaunts around the square, this brewpub vibe fits right in but also stands out for many unique reasons. Delicious beers served right out of the serving Tanks, it doesn t get any fresher than that. Typically a privilege of working in production brought straight to the bar. Seth and his crew are a passionate group with a Denton friendly personality. They have events and trivia often so follow their page if you are close. Even a Monday night Trivia can get interesting. Local Cold Brew Coffee and free WiFi makes it a nice study space in the day and a relaxed indoor/outdoor atmosphere perfect for Summer/ Fall. And if you Like Pizza they sell a pretty good slice at a reasonable price, by the slice! Lol !!!!!Cheers Denton County Brewing Company!!!

Cool vibe and nice outdoor seating available, but the service was very slow. It took quite awhile to be served the first round and much longer before the waitress came back again. My friends and I also wanted to purchase merchandise and asked to see it but were never shown anything. Beer was just ok.
The place is pretty cool. Even though it was kind of early the place was a little busy. The beers are great tasting and reasonably priced.

TL;DR: Amazing beer, wine and ambience. Great for chilling and reading in the afternoons. Pet friendly but only on the patio. In front of the Federal Building and really not hard to miss you'll find this new spot in Denton. I thought I had miss it all this time but they just recently opened (May 2017). Hosts are cheerful and will answer any questions you have. You can even try the beer. No food options at the moment. Some peanuts on the side for now. Also available merchandise of the company if you want to support them more. Up to 20+ beers from IPAs, stouts and lagers to choose. Wine is also in the menu. A good place to just have a drink with friends. This location is pet friendly but only in the patio. Smoking only allowed in the patio. Puzzle games and books are around the brewery so just sit down, grab a copy of How To Kill A Mocking Bird and drink comfortably.

Seth and team have created a unique and welcoming brewery with wonderful brews. They take special care to help their employees really understand the beers which allows their employees to help the customers find the right beer for them. I am currently in love with their 8 ft Leprechaun. If you are in Denton, stop by and get some beer to go.
We decided to check out this brewery and we were happy we did. The servers were very helpful and friendly and they have a great dog friendly patio. They had a large amount of interesting beers and they even had some tasty craft sodas. We tried several flights and also sampled the sodas. I would highly recommend stopping in and staying to have a pint or two.

What a great place. Jen and Seth we're very accommodating when we brought in a big group to DCBC after a memorial service. They did everything they could to make our visit a good one. Everyone loved the variety of beers, wines and ciders and I heard many remarks from family and friends about how good everything tasted.. I will definitely go back to Denton County Brewing Company!!

A great spot in Denton with a ton of great house-brewed beers and other great beers from across DFW. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating and knowledgeable and friendly staff.
They brew quality beer here as well as serving up a great selection of other local craft beers on tap. Recently, they added nitro cold brew coffee to the menu that is phenomenal! If u enjoy warm and cozy vibes to throw back a couple a beers, this is the place to be. Their fantastic staff provides good customer service and you can tell they are doing what they love. I greatly enjoy this place and I encourage u to visit!

I am from Fort Worth so probably never would have found this place on my own. We came for "Matty J's Summer Slam'. It was super fun. Bands playing inside and outside simultaneously. Pizza truck outside and plenty of seating inside and outside. Staff is friendly and it is an actuay brewery with so many things on tap. Even PBR and Lone Star. They have a menu that is catorgorized for those who enjoy IPAs, blonde etc. It's local the show was fun but i also was impressed with the brewery in general. Great place for people who are into specilaty and local beers.
This is one of my favorite places to hang out. The staff is friendly and attentive. Are able and will to answer whatever questions I have. Establishment is always clean. Selection of beers is well maintained. Denton county has a great variety of outside beers to choose from. I have tried several of their recommendations. And their own beer is good too; I recommend the Lights Out Stout. A truly great thing about this place is the atmosphere. This was a well thought out place. There is plenty of seating inside and out. When the weather is nice, sit outside, as the seating is comfortable and spacious. Inside is a great mix of bar seating, long tables for groups, quieter nooks and bigger comfy chairs and couches. This is a place to come and spend some time. Highly recommended!

Cool place off the beaten path. Not a huge beer selection but what they have is good. Their own brews are cheap at this point.

Great place to go if you want a relaxing atmosphere and don't want to wade through the crowds to get a beer. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Plenty of patio area and they even have cooling pads for your dog if it's a hot day! Love coming here.

Enjoyed our afternoon after wandering in to the Denton County Brewing Co and tried out their homemade Light Out Stout and Amberglar. The homemade bread with toasted pistachios and goat cheese was very good and paired nicely with the stout.

This was a great place for a wedding reception! Great space, wonderful owners, nice staff! It was the perfect size and we rented it for a private party for three hours! It had a great mix of indoor and outdoor space. They let us bring in our own food and decor although the space is so great we didn t need much. They also have great beer. Couldn t have been more pleased!
Staff and atmosphere we're wonderful. I don't usually dring beer but Brennan was knowledable and able to help me find something I would enjoy. Only down side is the awesome music they are playing is not outside... They do have cool games on every table inside, as well as darts. The bathrooms are also very clean, i appreciate that a lot. I will be back for sure. Worth coming here.

This brewery is a 'must visit' for any body who s a beer lover. The beer selection was huge and the server knew their products well. We were a bit early before their opening time - Instead of turning us away, they served us. Great organization that knows a thing or two about customer service. They also had a large selection of well-designed merchandise.
This place has really chill vibes. Great patio. Good beer. And the owner Seth is an awesome guy. Very down to earth and appreciative of his customers. If you are in Denton I highly recommend it! They have their beer on taps as well as other local DFW breweries.

10/10 would recommend. Came on a quiet Saturday afternoon. Social distancing easy to achieve, masked up. Love the venue, feels like an urban escape. Beer is really awesome too. Tried a cider, IPA and ale and enjoyed all 3 immensely. Attentive and friendly staff.

Just moved to Denton from Colorado, discovered this place in my excursions while walking around town..Needless to say, great beer, great atmosphere, trendy, clean, food was wonderful SMELLING ..the tasting there of will have to be for my next visit, Seth and Brian were just awesome enough to serve me yummy beer before the kitchen was open for business :) And... well, I think I'm In love! :) Officially designating it as my new hang out..
A great place to relax with friends and have a beer. Great staff helps you find something that matches what you are looking for. Be aware of when they have live music though as you will need to sit outside to have a chat if that is what you are after. That being said it is still our go to place when we head into Denton for a drink!

Such a cozy environment , lots of cool seating, dim soft lighting, a wide range of beer options, and the bartenders were great!

This is my new favorite brewery in all of north Texas. They have a very nice selection of house brews as well as others on tap. Looked like a pretty good wine selection to boot! The cozy, hip atmosphere just added to the appeal. Plenty of private seating areas and tables. Lots of games to choose from including a real nice dart set. I loved loved loved it!!!
Skyelight Coffee on tap! I quit drinking alcohol but still like to go out with friends. Its really nice to be able to get cold brew coffee at the bar for the designated drivers and non-drinkers in the group.
Love the atmosphere, each time I've visited the staff have been knowledgeable and friendly. Easily one of the best bars in Denton.

Super cool place to come with friends and grab a beer. There's all kinds of seating, often there is live music, food trucks are right outside if you get hungry, and there's games you can grab and play with your friends. There's a super cool party room in the back that you can rent out if you want to have a party, too! If you're not sure what to get to drink, just ask the folks at the bar, they know their stuff and have no problem helping you out! CHEERS!
