This was the highlight of our trip. Took the Wilderness Tundra Tour. Awe inspiring. Our bus driver was great and spoke with the reverence this place deserves. Cruises are great, but this was the true Alaska! Photos will never do it justice!

I've never had a bad time here. The park is gorgeous and full of wildlife. Whether you're into camping, backpacking, or just want a bis tour, there's plenty to do here. Just make sure you've got the day (or week!) open so you can see the sights, and really get the Denali experience. The bus tours really are all day and don't come with food, so make sure to eat breakfast before, and pack a lunch (and some snacks).

The goal here is to view wildlife and have a chance of seeing the mountain. Only 3 out of ten visitors see the mountain. They offer two narrated bus tours on the road into the park, one.is about five hours, the other is eight. The visitor.center offers film presentation and life.sized.examples.of the principal large animal inhabitants of the park.

Absolutely wonderful. Varied shopping, adventure, tours. Wonderful dining, or grab a pizza. Clean. The park you can only drive a short way in unless you go on a tour bus. This is a National park, so call ahead to find out rules.

Denali NPS is the most awe inspiring places I've ever been. It is wilderness in it's truest form. There is so much to see. The hiking trails are amazing, both maintained and back country. I highly recommend camping out at wonderlake for at least one night. There are no limits to what you can see or do - if you're on a bus and you see a place you'd like to explore more, just tell the driver and they will let you off anywhere in the park. When you're done exploring, just head back up to the road and wave down the next bus that passes by. The rangers offer many different nightly talks about the history and animals of the part. We enjoyed the bear gastronomy talk the most! You're almost guaranteed animal sightings here. A wonderful park to roam and to get away from it all!

I'm giving this preserve and the visitor center a five only because I can't give it a 10. If you have a bucket list, make sure you place this preserve and the Backcountry tour at the top.

We went to Denali the end of September 2013. Most everything was closing up, but we did stay in the Park. Riley Creek was available to stay at for free. It got to about 15 degrees at night so be prepared. There were still a lot of animals to see and very few people driving around. All the bathrooms are locked up except for at the hotels and restaurants outside the park area. It was still a very good time to go, but getting pretty cold.

We definitely should have alloted more time to Denali National Park! The Park Rangers at the visitor center were so fun and helpful, I recommend stopping in if you need some help making the best decisions for your time in the park!

Amazing park - saw Grizzly Bears, Moose, Caribou, Dall Sheep, and Lynx! We went 2 separate days, hiked a bit, rode the bus, and went all the way to the end of the rode in Kantishna! Jeremy and Thomas were the best guides on our bus tours. Kimberly in the welcome center / bus depot was also amazing!

Never took the bus..cancelled, no refunds. Ate the $ loss--long-g-g bus trip was described by many as just very uncomfortable and the place was so crowded. LOVED the rest of our Alaska trip in a rented RV. Alaska has PLENTY of extraordinary places to visit and enjoy as for Denali--- just drive in the distance allowed..stay as long as you want at the end point and hike around. Animals and vistas are wonderful along the way, and you are independent of the very structured park bus rules. (Think old school bus..all day trip.)

The very big outdoors. Need to think about using electric vehicles maybe. And a coal power station within the boundary. Maybe its time to start thinking about the environment and single use plastic.

I went there on a cruise sometime back and it was just stunning and beautiful. I would also recommend checking out Glacier Bag National Park and the wildlife is beautiful. This might be one of the most beautiful places in the plant

Denali is a must! The mountains are bigger than anything I have ever seen! They rise way beyond the clouds! We did the bus tour through the park and it was worth every penny!!! They packed great lunches. The bus driver we had was amazing. He gave us each a copy of his published photography book with the pictures he has taken of the park over the years. If you do get car sick- take something before the bus ride. Its 10 hrs of windy roads but the views are so worth it!!! There is also the chance to meet the parks sled dogs and see how the operations go with that.

This is the most wonderful place on earth. It helped inspire my move to Alaska and I have been back many times. Even though I no longer live in AK, I have been back to the park three times. It's a bummer when the mountain isn't visible, but there is so much to do. I do like the newer interpretive trail just east of Savage campground. I recommend this to everyone. Take the bus to Eielson or Wonder Lake- it is worth it. And visit the sled dogs! For those that have a National Park Passport, the main visitor center, Eielson and the kennels have their own unique stamps.
