Delta Edmonton Downtown Review

Enjoyed the buffet reasonable price, and it was fresh

Upgraded to a king suite in order to check in early. The upgrade was probably unnecessary but we wanted in our room. The bed was wonderful, and although the room looks dated it was clean and comfortable. The location worked well for our event at the MacDonald hotel, and having the mall attached was good for our downtime. I have stayed a few times at this delta and will continue to do so in the future.

Amazing and helpful staff! Parking lot can be confusing though!

Excellent hotel with top quality rooms and service. The price is a bit much, but that's to be expected when staying downtown I suppose.

Even though the hotel was undergoing some work, the disruptions did not affect me. Great rooms with comfortable beds and massive television. Staff was very courteous and efficient.

Small but delicious breakfast menu, very happy to make alterations and additions for dietary reasons

I had an amazing stay at the delta hotel very clean and very nice relaxing environment

My daughter and I stayed here for a weekend,it was a nice classy room with a cool view The staff was kind with a happy smile and pleasant greeting,our room had a separate room with the bed and T.V and a cool view of the inside of that part of the Edmonton City Center as the Delta is located inside the Edmonton City Center which makes a easy access to many top places to shop or enjoy a flick at the movie theater ,if we didnt order out for delivery the food courts in city center always have a great assortment of grub.

Location was central, rooms were OK but the hotel was very inaccessible. 1 of the 2 elevators were working so they offered us to use the stairs and service elevator due to the large occupancy that night at the hotel

I'd recommend this hotel because it's close to the Ice District (Roger's Place)!
The Delta is a great place to stay by yourself, friends, family!
Even a Romantic getway with that someone special in your life!
They've just completed a restaurant upgrade!
Use to be called Coco's, now called District 102!
Has a bar, cafe you can play pool!
Even has 2 shuffle boards!
Enjoy the games on their two big screen TV's or on the other six 55" screens

Aging hotel with friendly service. Lobby is located on the North side of the mall so if entering through the City Centre entrance on 102 Ave just walk straight through to the other side of the mall's center. Building AC appeared to not be on yet in early June so the suite I had was constantly too warm. No airport shuttle available. Walking distance to several business centers and restaurants.

The room is comfortable, with everything well placed. However, the bed is too tall. Also, showercaps were not provided, so I had to ask for one. The front desk staff were polite and helpful. I was impressed that one of the front desks had a hearing loop. Also, when I asked the front desk if they had any AA batteries for my shake awake alarm clock, the lady kindly called their engineering team and asked them for batteries for me.

Great service. Freshly renovated with a big living area and a nice gym with all the essentials.

Dump. Elevator wasn't working properly. Door slammed very loud

The staff was very pleasant! Room was a bit dark, bathroom outdated and kind of smelly. Smelled faintly of smoke.
Probably wouldn't stay there again as the price really didn't match up with the quality of the room; you could get a cheaper room at a different place for the same quality to be totally honest.
Overall decent experience though.

Location is great its in the heart of Edmonton, the food was ok but a lil over prices for the portion, rooms were clean and nice

Really great location, but the hotel is under renovation. Some rooms are noisier than others. I've stayed here a couple times now. There are two types of room views, ones facing into the mall and those was exterior views.

Excellent room and service. Room was a bit chilly, but that's just personal preference. Amenities and service were great

Located in the heart of downtown! Great place to stay as it is so close to many amazing eateries and cafes in downtown. Easy access to the LRT as well.

Great service. Had to do an early check in and was upgraded rooms at a reasonable price with only two hours notice. Would stay here again!

They have a very heavy scented perfume in the vent system. You could smell it in the hallways and in the lobby prior to entering the hotel its so strong. For individuals with scent sensitivity or with headaches/migraines this is very inconsiderate and I won't stay here in the future.

A beautiful hotel. The best surprise is that it is connected to a huge mall. You can literally shop for days! The rooms were clean and updated. Only sad part is there was no pool or hot tub. A tub in the room would have been great but the shower with multiple heads was great!

Hotel is very nice on the inside. Many room service choices and wonderful staff.

Great location if your in town for a concert or hockey game, 5 min walk. Also walking distance for the Shaw Center or Winspear. Located in the City Centre Mall. LRT stop in basement of mall if you're going to a football game.

Beautifully designed, friendly staff, and an amazing room

The customer service at this hotel was the highlight of our stay! Everyone was so helpful and friendly . The hotel was recently renovated and is absolutely gorgeous , rooms are spacious and our suite faced inside to the mall which i enjoyed much more than facing the construction outside . Highly recommend!

This place is great they just had a Reno, the rooms are looking good now. I stay her every time I am in the city. Beds are comfortable so are the pillows. The front desk staff are very nice.

Been done up. Service was great. New rooms are fantastic. Stayed on 6th floor and it was brilliant. Parking is not ideal but close enough.

Nice hotel in a central location downtown. As the area develops I am sure this place will become even better to stay at. Convenient location for hockey games and concerts now with the new arena. Lots of dining options around. Rooms are a little out of date but lots of renovations going on. Good sized gym and the beds are comfy!

Not pet friendly. Had to walk at least 2 blocks for a grass area for the dog
Watch for parking fees. 400 percent markup they charged.
Construction is awful in the area.

We stayed here and were woken up at 8 am to the sound of hammering and cutting. At least put people on a different floor than the one being renovated.

Rooms were large and somewhat renovated, but the bathtubs could use some updating. But still good service from everyone.

They really stepped it up for us. Had a weekend getaway for our anniversary. Front desk girls (Kaycee & Jessica) upgraded our room to a suite. Free breakfast for both days at Cocoa's. Had rose petals on our bed. And even delivered a slice of chocolate cake with a handwritten anniversary note. Above and beyond customer service!!

The location renovated the front desk looks beautiful when you come in.hotel is very accommodating and friendly staff. There's a bar on the third floor and restaurant. Movie theater in close proximity if you have kids.

My room was very clean, modern and spacious. Scheduled room service was late each morning so order early if you're in a rush.

Quite pricy. I guess you are paying for the downtown location. The suite doesn't even includes microwave. No hot tub or swimming pool.

Terrible hotel. From the moment we walked in there was no bellman and homeless people everywhere. The pictures had false representation and the room was old and dingy. The tv and the air conditioner didnt work on a 30 degree summer day. The beds were super uncomfy. There were numerus bugs. Go to the hilton garden inn west edmonton we have stayed here numerus times and always enjoyed it its also newly renovated

Room is absolutely fantastic. Bed is extremely comfortable. We did find our air conditioning to be a bit out of whack. There is construction going on, so some rooms are loud as they start work around 8:30-9. Overall, would stay again.

my wife and I both thought it was a GREAT stay , friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable beds , very nice layout of the room .

Right downtown. Lots of parking. Nice rooms and good facilities for meetings. In the downtown mall so you can walk to shopping any time of year and stay warm and dry.

The hotel is old and the staff are okay but nothing so far to warrant a very good status. Small or old tv's in the rooms.
Its great that its attached to the mall tho.

It's a nice enough hotel. The connection to the mall is bittersweet. There's a convenience factor of having access to shops, restaurants, and a movie theater without having to go outside in the winter. But there are enough vagrants roaming the mall in the evening to make me a little uncomfortable.

The rooms are amazingly and fully renovated but not clean there was some loud thumping noise above my room the front desk staff were amazing the restaurant was less than amazing.

The breakfast place is good. Rooms are well done and the suite is nice especially with the little one with us.
Even had a nap on the pull out couch.
Location and access to the mall is good. They could do with a map of all the pedestrian ways and stores that you can easily access. A deal on oiler games would be sweet as well. With a deal on parking. if they did these few things that would move this to a loved it location.
You have to overlook the construction in the downtown core. Not a hotel issue.

Relaxing overnight stay in the heart of downtown amd close to the ice district. Rooms were excellent very comfortable if a little dated but overall friendly helpful staff and a great place to stay

It's unique located as part of the city center mall. Breakfast for status members is pretty good. Rooms are good, lots of electrical/usb ports. Very quiet at night facing the mall.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The suites are nice, comfortable beds and beddings. There's a great restaurant with a lounge, and visitors have the entire Eaton centre for all other shopping and eating desires. Enjoy

I have stayed at the hotel for a month and I can honestly say that I was treated like a KING. Service was excellent and whatever I asked for they did everything to accommodate me. The staffs are friendly, courteous and have their customer at hearth. I will recommend this Hotel to all my friends and coworkers. It was my second home away from home.

The hotel is central - so at least it has location going for it. The rooms are in need of a major update: mine was dark, small, and overlooked a (not particularly scenic) mall atrium. Not great.

Hosted a event for the company I work for, Food was good and staff were friendly.

I have to say that this hotel is great after new renovations. I stayed a few days ago and came away very happy with my room and the conference centre they supplied. The staff were great as well.

Old hotel in need of upgrading, don't know if I would stay here again
