Went for wedding, served good food and great service..

Clean rooms and friendly staff. What more could you ask for? A newer TV kept it from being 5 stars. It's the Masters and I wanted to watch in HD.

Very modern hotel. Well lighted. Located in the mall. No microwave in room but has a fridge. Sundries selection is terrible, actually it is a joke; it has what looks like high end chocolate bars, some candy bars , 3 choices of soda, and yogurt and onion flavored potato chips. The gym is really nice for a hotel and I appreciate that they have spin type bikes. I would have given them 4 stars but I don't give that to any hotel that doesn't have a fridge and microwave, additionally the lack of snack selection was disappointing.

So we stayed here for our 5 year anniversary, reason for staying here is because it was in walking distance of the restaurant we wanted to dine at and we would save money on a cab. First they "upgraded" our room, they didn't even bother to call us beforehand to ask us and they had the time to considering we showed up at 8pm. We ended up paying more for oversized parking which in the end would have cost more than a cab. When I thought I was getting a room with a "view" I thought it would be one of the city, not of the mall, but they don't state that or have pictures.

Staff did a good job of keeping the room stocked on coffee, tea, etc and clearing tables throughout the event. There was a good deal of noise traveling into the room from next door however, and their group didn't seem o early loud so noise isolation in the conference rooms could be improved.

I would have given a 2.5 out of 5 if I could why? Because I give it a 2, and my husband gives it a 3. Here is our experience : I will start with the good. The staff at Delta Edmonton Centre Suite are awesome very accommodating, polite, and friendly. They are very apologetic about the state of the hotel, and are honest about the short comings. The manager did comp. our parking so that was nice. They are quick to invite you back when the hotel will be finished upgrades by the end of 2016. The hotel its self is relatively clean, the rooms are definitely clean. Now that I am done with the highlights on to the not so good stuff. When we arrived we were informed that we would have to pay for over night parking so that was an unexpected expense. Next we entered the 1980's when we opened to our room. The spa tub was surrounded by dated looking marble tile, and mirrored walls. The furnishings were dated, the fixtures were also dated. The small tube style TV was located in a cupboard that you can only comfortably see from the left side of the bed, because of the doors on the cupboard. The coffee maker offers you a not so environmental friendly paper cup, and just one so I guess if you come as a couple like we did you have to share. The bathroom while clean was dark, and my husband found it hard to see well enough to shave in. The spa tub had obviously not been used in a while, because even with the water above the jets it sprayed the walls. The comp. Breakfast was okay except that the menu in the room is not the same as in the actual restaurant. Also my husband was served soured cream for his coffee. My French toast was made on the same grill as my husband's garlicky potatoes so that was kind of gross. In comparison; we recently stayed at the Radisson in Calgary paid the same for their spa room, and it contained a full body spray shower, heated floors, an air tub, two flat screen tv's one in the living area, and one in the bedroom. Two bathrooms, and is updated, well lit, and clean. For what is supposed to be a higher end hotel at $200+ a night, Delta and their "spa room" I would argue is NOT worth the price or the stay in its current condition.... Keep looking!

Great place for our work training. Always fresh coffee and tea and cold water!

I was at the hotel not for staying but for a short visit with the Food & Beverage Manager, Sam. I had the best time during my interview/chat with him. Delta has such a gem!!!

Older hotel, spacious room and clean. Great location for downtown and Oilers games!!

If you have platinum status or above, opt for the breakfast buffet in the mornings. It's worth it!

The staff is incredibly friendly but the hotel feels very outdated and has a lot of strange noises at night. I believe most of this is due to age of the property. I would stay here again once they finish their renovations.

Terrible service, an event i was to attend got cancelled due to Covid, and my booking was supposed to be canceled. Delta didn't do it and didn't want to refund me since I prebooked. Cancelation happened months ago but just found out today they didn't cancel my rooms, called these jokers and they started the ole, "well since you pre-booked you can't get a refund routine."

The suites windows gives to the mall which can get pretty loud at night due to all the reverberation.

Excellent service, clean room, very close to Rogers.

Great location a block from the new Rogers place arena. Lots of parking but a little confusing to get into the hotel from the parking garage. Smaller lobby and less amenities than most other delta and Marriott properties but still nicely appointed. Our room was renovated and comfortable. Bed was fantastic! Staff could be better oriented and familiar with Marriott elite levels, had to ask for my member benefits once I arrived at the hotel. Other than that, great night, nice hotel, would recommend and stay again.

The service was good, friendly staff. Only downside was the mini fridge didn't really work

We were there for a professional meeting on the third floor. Excellent service and food. The facility was clean and the staff were professional, they never got in the way and did an awesome job. Parking is available too.

Even after the hotel is renovated you can tell from parts that this is an old hotel. It opens up into the mall and one side of hotel has mall view. Breakfast is ok and they have exact same menu everyday which is disappointing. Gym is nice and the location is really good. Walking distance from a lot of good restaurants and bars, plus it opens up into a Mall which has bars, movie theater, etc. Parking is expensive so think before parking your car with the hotel.

Loved it!! We prefer this place a million times better than the Fantasy Land hotel. You get so much more for your money. Very nice modern decor, well managed, friendly professional staff. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Great place to stay, shop, and enjoy good company!

We were staying there for a week with a group from work. Several of us had items stolen by housekeeping and our personal belongings rummaged through.

old,old, old hotel. ref got all my grocery frozen. they reimburse one night parking for that. stuff are nice.
parking feels uncomfortable,not chart friendly, have to unload at the front. too much construction in downtown. room is good spacious, non see-through windows can make you dance naked in your room.

Not a thing to complain about on our recent stay here. Everything was great including the price.

Food was EXCELLENT I had haddock fish and chips you have to try it yummy. Service was ok waitress forgot some of our order. Oh well.

I am am evacuee from the McMurray fires and the Delta has been nothing but supportive and hospitable to us, making sure we want for nothing. I'm extremely grateful for it, as we have nothing at this point.

The hotel is really clean! Friendly service, speedy check-in. Kiera at the front desk recommended an upgrade and the breakfast that came with the upgrade at Coco s was large and the staff was friendly. Would definitely stay here again. The only downside is no pool and the room didn t have a bathtub. But I would recommend this hotel anyway.

The renovations to the lobby look great, the rooms are spacious and with the largest TV's I've seen in any room I've stayed. If I were from out of town I would stay here.

Very clean. Good location near Rogers arena. I forgot my charger and they told me they had found it when I called but once I got there, I proceeded to wait 40 minutes only for them to tell me that they don't have it.

Room was clean and bed was comfy. Excellent location.

Staff were always friendly and helpful. Especially one of the guys, James. He was a real big help.

And the cleaning staff & restaurant staff were great too.

The staff at this hotel are great and I am not being facetious. We were treated exceptionally by everyone we met, particularly the front desk staff.

The room was nice but definitely old and dated decor, with a weird configuration. The bed was nice though.

Here's the weird part. The parking. The hotel relies on a private lot next to the hotel, but due to horrible signage, you get lost easily and even.when you do figure out your route, it is a long walk to and from your vehicle. Also, do not plan on leaving the parkade quickly after an Oilers game as they only have one attendant working which means a minimum 40 minute wait.

I realize that the hotel has little control over the parking lot, but they should give priority to hotel guests, especially if those guests pay $212/night.

Hotel is hard to get to (due to construction on every block around it) parking is very very expensive (yes that s extra!!!) the restaurant had the most expensive breakfast we have ever had (white plate special) and they have removed the hot tub. Not a good experience and will not ever consider this place again!!!

TOO many out of date room issues, I was down to a pineapple ring and a grape When I was burned by hotel blowdryer that caught fire, instead of callinga lawyer,ordemandingmoney/room compensation I got my pineapple ring and a strawberry.

Nice rooms, comfortable beds, room service is quick and the location is great if you want to be downtown.

We were upgraded to King suite. Huge room, very comfortable bed, excellent customer service.

Everyone was awesome the room had a nice bath and was very spacious.

Amazing hotel! Beautiful, newly renovated lobby and rooms, super friendly, helpful and happy to help staff. Great location. In quick walking distance to all major downtown amenities. Hotel is located inside city center mall too, which is perfect for your shopping needs. Hotel restaurant, Cocoa's is pricey but great food. I highly recommend Fionn MacCool's pub restaurant across the way from Cocoa's. Also in the mall is the landmark cinemas multiplex theater, easy to access from the hotel. Services offered by hotel are convenient and affordable. Stay here! You won't regret it!

Well situated in a shopping mall with access to good stores and restaurants. No need to venture outdoors where is was -13F. Rooms very comfortable and well finished. However in this cold I was unable to get room temperature above 69-70F. Good shower and TV. Breakfast ok but not great.

What's the point of being in a mall, is the mall doesn't open till after checkout

Good size room, good bathroom and shower, decent location, walls are thin can hear others easily, WiFi is difficult to get on if at all, parking is extra costs. Overall, decent but not the best overall I have had.

The rooms are nice, but need some modernization. The restaurant it's okay but expensive for what it is. The staff seem nice. My room listen to the Mall which I didn't like.

Stayed in a pet friendly family suite, room was spacious and hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

I wish I had something good to say about my stay here. I don't.

Excellent service! Staff were so kind! We asked for wine glasses and a corkscrew to be delivered, they were there within minutes. A very nice clean room and bathroom, we stayed in the king suite. Front desk staff were so incredibly helpful with everything from helping us find a restaurant to guiding me through my first uber experience. The location is great because it's attached to the Edmonton city centre for morning coffees and shopping. Overall- I would definitely stay again. Thanks for the great experience!

Was in the Chambre Mackenzie room for the EA expert review panel sessions. Sight lines were poor with table setups. Had to stretch and move regularly to be able to see.

Newly renovated rooms give this the edge over the Westin. The location in the mall is pretty terrible, but that dumb decision was made a long time ago

Veronica at the front desk was amazing. Super helpful and even upgraded our rooms for free to the newly renovated suite. It is amazing.

Rooms were newly renovated, big, clean & modern. It can be a long walk to your room but it is in downtown and attached to the City Center Mall which lets you walk to a ton of places staying indoors. It's a short walk to Rogers Arena. That said, it's attached to the City Center Mall parkade which is confusing (cuz it's old) but well signed and a specific parking area for Delta guests. It's a bit of a maze and unheated but there are staff at the gates and I saw security often.
Staff and service were 10/10.
Room was 8/10. Minus 2 for the hot room which took all night to cool and the zero humidity... Very dry (even for Alberta winter) in our room.
Hotel Location was 10/10.
Parking was 4/10.
The pictures on their website show the updated rooms. Staff said over the next year the rest of the hotel will be modernized (lobby & restaurant).

Restaurant was nice and the room was clean. No complaints.

Staff is wonderful. They remember us. We stayed at another hotel and we miss the service.
