I quite enjoyed my stay in the castle. It was like taking a step back in time. A very nice hotel, quiet room, beautiful architecture, and really cool historical features in the hotel. Service was great - they were always looking out to help. Don't Google the history of the hotel until after you stay

Great service. As you approach the main entrance there are staff there to open the door for you saying welcome to Bessborough. Reception Desk is right there as you enter the hotel. Historic hotel well maintained. Only problem is the wine bottles in rooms are very tempting. They are for sale. Lol. Everything else is great. Will totally stay here every I can.

I can't speak to what it is like staying at the Delta because I only come in for food and such. The Samurai Sushi bar makes some amazing maki and nigiri but is usually full so we sit in the open lounge by the front desk because you can order off the same menu!

Very nice accommodations. Great view. The only downside is that there is only ever one welcoming desk clerk working at a time. Every time i have walked past the lobby, there is always a check in line. Be prepared to wait 5 to 10 minutes when checking in.

When I stayed here the accommodations, amenities, and service were great. The location is great if you are interested in attending events happening in Saskatoon. Had a difficult experience with parking during the Jazz festival despite being guests at the hotel.

Staff were gracious and friendly, clean hotel in a great downtown location. Pool and hot tub were great, steam room was out of service. However the walls are paper thin, a shockingly loud fan started automatically in the room and the room toilet paper was basically newspaper.

It s a very Saskatoon experience, however, as frequent guests at other hotels such as The James, and Fairmonts, I was disappointed. There was no room service after 11, our check-in experience was less than ideal and the hotel was generally noisy, especially in our room the walls seemed to be thin. I likely won t be staying here again, I just felt the experience to be lacking in many ways. Slight improvement to management and or employee training in multiple areas could greatly benefit this hotel and guest experience.

The building is amazing! I love staying in these historical hotels! The beds are really comfortable. Excellent service. Very clean. Parking is limited but valet parking was offered to us at no extra cost. Parking is $15/day.

The hotel staff were so great! Very helpful and courteous. I asked Chantel (I think that was her name), she was the day shift manager to give me directions to cracked marble in the staircase. She brought me right to it. They treat all their guests well!

Great group stay for a course!

Great group stay for a course!

Our association booked a conference room and 25+ rooms for our group all week.

All meals and receptions in the hotel and we were well cared for.

Rooms were great, I adore the little shelf just inside the door for keys and other things. And I cannot stress enough to have free water with the room is so much appreciated!

Fridge in the room, good washrooms and comfy bed.

It s an older hotel with lots of charm.

Outstanding location with a huge garden area out back and it sits right on the river which is great for a walk or run. Starbucks across the street and lots of food options nearby.

Staff took great care of us (Tessie in food services was so kind and sharp service) and we had a young bartender Luigi for our reception who added character to our evenings. A rare thing when staff are memorable.

The newly renovated Bes is fantastic, and the service is very friendly. It's expensive, though, and for the same price elsewhere you can get something bigger/better. However, if you're willing to spend the money it's the most elegant hotel in the city.

Great hotel in the heart of the city. The staff are always courteous, and the rates are very reasonable. Breakfast lounge for the club floor is quite nice, and the breakfast spread was tasty. Overall, a great stay :)

The Bess is a Saskatoon classic. The epitome of the fancy hotel as far as it goes in Saskatoon. Originally a CN Rail hotel it has that amazing castle appearance on the outside with some of the original feeling/touches on the inside. The rooms are small but comfortable--typical of the hotels built in that era. Getting a River View room is a must!

Not going to lie, I did feel some judgment the second time going through. Managed to book just fine and was told that I can pay at check out. Upon arrival to hotel to check in, they wouldn't let me do it without a payment first. (I've stayed in hotels lots and never have I paid before my stay. It just doesn't make sense). Also they tried pulling the "oh let me upgrade you for free" line. I booked the junior suite on the top floor and it was 200 a night. She tried telling me that I had a regular room booked and that she would "upgrade me to the junior suite" for free. Then I she did it to the people behind me in line lol

With that aside it is a very nice looking hotel, and the room had an alright view. With the staff being very friendly it made for a good night. The history behind it is cool.

Don't bother booking here unless you don't care about customer service! Been trying to get ahold of someone at this hotel for over 1/2 and all you get is the run around. Haven't even had a chance to complete what needs to be completed. Just got hung up on for the second time!

Stayed at Delta Bessborough in Saskatoon while in town for work. It's a wonderful hotel with very friendly staff. Room was clean, beds comfortable and the view is fantastic! Prices are a bit on the higher side of things but you definitely get what you pay for.
