One of the best Airport I would say from Amenity to Ambience. Everything are well placed & well managed. I would really like to thanks to the people and team who are associated restroom cleaning department. - They just give you Smile and Say "Welcome Sir" Hats off to complete team.
IGI Airport do have Covid testing facility, I was amazed to see the report within 4-5 hours super arrangements.

T3 was clean & decorated. Check-in was quick with Go-air staff available for web check-in assistance. Security check staff gave proactive instructions & helped passengers maintain social distancing. They were quick in completing their checking so that we could reach boarding gate without delay. Post security check, there was a clear passage with proper hoardings mentioning gates & restrooms. Even drinking water was available during walk to the gate. There were lot of showrooms for last minute gift purchase, although they are pretty expensive as compared to outside markets. Best part was the availability of a good food court on the first floor, where early morning passengers can snack (if necessary due to hunger or health conditions). Despite limited & more expensive menu by certain eateries like McDonald's/Subaay, it's still offers an option for passengers to opt for cheap early morning flights & have a bite here before boarding. Reaching respective gates was made easier by walkalators (horizontal escalators) that minimize walking & helped passengers reach their gates quickly. Proper social distancing norms were maintained at the seats but then they should have increased the number of seats at all gates. Boarding was done row wise by Go-air staff and reaching the aircraft was pretty easy. Only 2 suggestions : Firstly, we tried calling IGI Airport for some queries on proper procedure to carry burnt human ashes for last rites but could not contact anyone. There must be a toll free number for any such queries. Secondly, there was no one to assist senior citizens / differently abled with electric car assistance to reach boarding gate. Wish we could book the same as we still have no idea about the booking procedure. Such important things should be clearly marketed by airport / airlines so that all passengers have clear procedural understanding & don't face last minute difficulty.

T3 Arrival was again neat with staff assistance to help passengers reach cargo collection area. There are again walkalators available to help passengers reach cargo collection area. However, found very few sanitizers filled throughout. Moreover, Haldiram was the sole snack joint in this area (besides some chocolate & chips counters) where hungry / medically requiring (like diabetics etc) could have something. The problem with Haldiram here is that it's just a take away counter of their sweets & namkeen. So there's an urgent requirement of a small food cafe area before one exits the airport. There are a couple of eateries just outside exit but not enough as compared to the food court on the departure side. Plus there is not enough space outside exit & it's pretty hot so it's much better that the area just before exit has just a few joints for take away. Way towards taxi is not marked & we had to ask security staff who helped us locate the building. Taking taxi is now much more synchronized as against earlier times where it was so difficult to find cabs. Yet the whole walk towards the taxi building needs to be converted into an air conditioned passage as it gets pretty uncomfortable if one reaches in the afternoon.

Hope this gives a clear idea about T3. While I've mentioned couple of suggested improvements, I'm still very proud & happy with our Airport quality and maintenance. Last but not the least, a special salute to all the security staff that keep the area secure. Jai Hind!

Had a bad travel experience.

Had a bad travel experience.

I was flying to Bangalore via Delhi from an international location.

The international flight landed in Delhi well on time. My baggage was supposed to be checked until Bangalore. When getting off the flight in Delhi, we were asked to pick our checked baggage and then go to customs. We waited at a queue mostly for self reporting related to covid travel. On the way, 2-3 people checked the boarding pass and blindly stamped as Quarantine required . Then we moved to immigration counter which had about 20-25 min wait. After we picked the baggage, we had to wait at the customs line for more than an hour. It was complete chaos and some people were moved out of the line who arrived by Air France/KLM (by some random security person). Rest of them got their bags scanned by customs (the officer didn t seem to care). Next we were asked to standing in another queue (no boards, nothing!)...2-3 people again asked about covid test report..after I told that I had a negative covid result, he asked me to fill a covid quarantine exemption form and go to counter 2. I filled the form (which says asks for exemption from quarantine and also says that I promise to quarantine!). I looked for queue for counter 2. Supposedly, everyone was just standing in one queue. Another person at end of queue again checked the test report and asked to go to counter 1. People were just crowding counter 1 (where there were 3-4 officials). No queue! Someone from counter 1 then signed the form and asked to go to counter 2. Again, no queue on counter 2..again someone signs something and asks to go to counter 3. Since no queue, people are just in a hurry to get their stuff done with no basic courtesy. Someone at counter 3 then stamps the boarding pass with something like exempted from quarantine . I rush towards the domestic transfer since very few time was left. There is another queue for domestic departures! A security guy verifies the passport and ticket and then allows to go to the airline counter. The airline counter had 100s of people in the queue to check their bag. I waited almost 1 hour 20min and finally checked my baggage. Since, I was not given a boarding pass for my domestic flight at the source, the official asks me to do a self checkin at a kiosk and print the boarding pass. After printing the boarding pass, the official then checked my baggage. Finally, I had to go through security which was another long queue (boarding for my domestic flight had already started!) Fortunately, I finished my security check and reached the gate during the final call for departure.

Transferring from international terminal to domestic shouldn t be this complicated. It took about 4 hour 10 min after landing in Delhi to reach the gate for domestic flight! The whole ordeal was because of too many people and mismanaged staff. India and Indians deserve a better travel experience.

Serene and calm airport. The best airport in India. Due to corona restrictions, the following steps are taken.
1. At the departure gates, luggage bags are sanitized.
2. At the entry into terminal building, ticket and ID are checked
3. Web check in is mandatory for ticket
4. Thermal scanning is done before allowing inside terminal
5. Give the luggage of you have at counters
6. Get past the security gate
7. Relax in the waiting hall like you are waiting in any luxury hotel till your flight time

I believe even if Delhi is one of the hotspots for corona, airport inside is safe if you follow social distancing.

large area and all facilities. This is "THE BEST"
airport. The infrastructure is very good and
food is easily available here at high cost
There facilities are so much more. You can also
buy cloths here. I have visited the terminal 3.
It was so nice. There washrooms are neat and
clean... but food is expensive... this is overall
beautiful place with variety of crowd. But on
the way traffic is so terrifying....! So better to
arrive early. There staff is so helpful and well
maintained. This is so organized place. Arrangement and information for passengers
is very nice. It is always very busy. I enjoyed my
time during gap between two flights...
