Beautiful beaches, and trails, historic, educational, friendly staff, clean..... just a great place for family, fishing and fun!
Except for the drunk and disorderly arrest scene in front of our site (next to the tent area), that went on for about an hour at 10p, we had a very nice stay at the recently renovated and totally awesome camp ground. The hike from our site up the watch tower,,to the beach and through the woods, back was both adventurous, exhillerating and our kids will tell you, exhausting!
Parking can be tough, and the beach gets crowded quickly.
It's a great park. Disc golf, bike trails, fishing, camping, and the beach.
I have camped there many times. You can hear the waves crashing on the beach at night at the campsites. Plenty of things to see and do. If you are an outdoors person you'll love this park.
Unbelievable. Please don't go there. I want to lessen the crowds
great beach for families and a nice bathhouse to get cleaned up afterward which most beaches can't say. $10 to get in but it's well worth it when you consider the free changing rooms and shower house.
Great biking trails. Bike to Lewes and back through Gordon's pond and J&B trails. Spend time exploring fort Miles. Bike repair stations on both trails. Many different turn off trails with differing difficulty levels. Off season is the best time to do this. Have fun!
Out of state is $10. Also, the nature center does not have the touch pools open because of COVID-19. The beach was nice.
Highly recommend biking the Gordon Pond Trail/Junction and Breakwater Trail Bike Loop from Rehoboth to Lewes to Cape Henlopen to Rehoboth. Finish with a beer on the boardwalk!
It was a hot day until I hit the beach.....awesome ocean breeze and the water was perfect!
Nice area next to Lewes Beach. There is a large pavilion area to have a picnic, but no modern restroom only porta potties. The beach is large enough to spread out and keep social distance from others. Would highly recommend as a place to park for a day at the beach!
What a wonderful place, with so many interesting nature experiences to enjoy.
Loved the park grounds themselves. Upon pulling in from the entrance you soon learn the park has very little in the way of directional, signs when there is a sign. We pulled up to the campground entrance booth at around 3:00pm on Friday the first of November and had an encounter with the rudest state employee you could ever imagine. He yelled at us and another lady that pulled up shortly after us. A couple hours later we had local friends stop by and upon there arrival they told us the person running the campground booth was mean and rude to them. The state or whom ever is in charge of the campgrounds for the state needs to fire this man ( Immediately )! After a couple of remarkable wonderful days we were leaving and ran into another park employee directing traffic at the dump stations that had things pretty fouled up making people wait because he had traffic screwed up. The four stars is for the park not some of the employees.
The dog-friendly portion of the beach north of the jetty is quiet, clean and amazing. First trip with the pup and we'll be back soon.
Great place to visit. Spacious campsites. Updated and clean facilities. Pleasant drive to ocean. Friendly personnel.
Great place to take the family and avoid the large crowds.
Natural beauty, beaches are not packed. Our family loves Cape Henlopen state park
Beautiful scenery, lovely water and an open landscape for the public.
Lovely

Very nice beach, no trash on beach or the water. Sections where ppl w special passes can drive right out on the beach. Reasonably priced.
Or favorite nature center and just all around great state park
Very nice park with a lot of open, clean beach front
I love this park and visit at least once a year. Something for everyone. Make sure you stop by the fishing pier and rent a pole.
So much to do, so little time! We love this place and are so grateful for the people who work to preserve this beautiful park
Remarkable great state park. Bring bikes with a trailer to haul your stuff, otherwise it's a long walk to the beach.
Beautiful scenery, including canals, farms, beaches. Taking the rehobeth-lewes bike trail and connecting to the new Lewes - Georgetown bike trail. Stopoed for snack right off trail called The Station on Kings. Really hit the spot. Great coffee, watermelon gazpacho soup and fresh croissants. Perfect.
Nice park to visit. Fort Miles is a must to spend time visiting. They run tours of the WWII 12 inch gun battery during it's open season.
Luv taking walks here with my dog baxter.its so peaceful
Our family's favorite camping area.
So good! Always can catch fishes.
In this park, Herring Point allows dogs. Enough said. Great beach :)
Beautiful park with nice amenities. Quest Rentals by the fishing pier will set you up with kayaks, paddle boards, and more with very friendly and knowledgeable service.
First time in a state park in over 25 years and I was not disappointed. The staff here is Delaware incredibly nice!
Great park. Lots to do and see. Haven't tried the trails yet, but will soon.
U can fish ride bikes for free have bait and tackle and it's always a good day to either walk the beach or just dive in to the bay or ocean at the same place
Loved it!!!!!
The best day to finish my vacations.
Beautiful views and if you are lucky you can spot bears next the road :) we did!!!
Best place to go to the beach in Delaware. It is not overly crowded like Rehoboth, Bethany, and Dewey. You do have to pay a park entrance fee If you don't have a park pass but it's worth it. Plenty of parking, a bath house, concessions, hiking and biking trails, camp sites, surf fishing..the list goes on and on. Historic Fort Miles is awesome and you an climb to the top of one of their towers and see all the way to Cape May on a clear day. I've never gone back to Reho since finding the Cape.
Great park with very nice beaches and a nice fishing peer.
Gorgeous park for biking! Lots of animals, deer, turtles, lizards, great bird watching, ocean views and access, lots of historical structures! Very beautiful and educational!
If you have time to take a walk from rehoboth beach to henlopen state it's about 2 and half mile walk from the boardwalk But totally worth it.
We should pay the same if we are from out of town. We drove longer to get there paid the stupid tolls on the highway. And paid more because we were out of state.
Thats what i call discrimination
Thanks Delaware.
I loved it , it was peace full and not crowded, it was the best relaxing Beach I've been to. I give it 10 thumbs up.
Beautiful quiet place. Lots to do in the area around
Nice beach to drive on in the morning. Get there early!
Historic site.
Nice beach
innovative plaground
Lots of community activities
Beautiful park. Went in the fall so the beach was empty. Gorgeous scenery.
Peaceful, clean and diversified. You can do the beach or the trails. Fun!
Absolutely fell in love with this park and camping on their property was amazing. Hope to be back their soon again
Great place for camping and to visit. Has beaches and historical military stuff
