It cost twice as much if you re not from Delaware. Everyone is free in my state if you visit a state park. The parking lot was packed and so was the beach. Distant thunder over the ocean caused everyone to get out of the water and you have to put down all umbrellas and canopies even though the sun is still out. The kicker was we had to clear the beach for lightning in storm that had already passed and was more than 10 miles away. We had to sit in a sunny 90 degree parking lot for an hour to get back to the beach. All this is after paying to go to a state park. The lifeguards aren t at fault, the policy needs re-evaluated.

This is by far one of our favorite parks, as we travel across the full-time in our RV. (SweetieAndI.com) I all of the hiking trails, both paved and unpaved. The bathhouses and laundry facilities in the campground are clean and organized well. My only slight complaint would be how small the RV campsites are. But, still worth the stay.

Great place for camping, biking, going to the beach, trail exploring, and so much more. Having the Cape May Lighthouse in view and the historic WW2 camp Fort Miles on the state park property makes the place even more enjoyable.

Came here to camp and it was great. Facilities are very well maintained. Clean and air conditioned bathrooms. Private showers. Camp store. It's also not terribly far from Dogfish Head brewery which is awesome.

I love this state park both to stay and as a day trip. Their beach is clean and sandy without rocks, etc. They have a great place for shore fishing and a really nice pier with a bait shop. Lots of trails to watch and see the lighthouse. The kids loved discovering horseshoe crabs, sand crabs, etc. Can't wait to go back!

This place is gorgeous, the views are stunning and it's super fun to explore. You can easily stop at the major attractions, explore, and be done in a few hours, or spend longer on the trails. The Nature Store has some cute souvenirs too!

We checked out the beach which was packed. People were flooding in and it was very crowded. It was a beautiful beach which is understandable and the crowding seemed to be because people didn't want to walk far enough to be separated. When we got there it was just us in a decent area and by the time we left we were within feet of other groups and families. It was however a very nice beach, the water was clean, although it was a bit cold!
