A bit far from we I live in PA but it was worth the trip. It was $10 to enter, although some locals said there was away to enter without paying. The Bathrooms were it good condition though the trash was falling over the trash can since it was so full. Parking lot has sufficient amount of spots. The Fishing pier however us really crowded. I stayed there overnight and only in the wee ours of the morning was there a few people. I will return!

Very quite and safe. Make sure if you are biking trails that you pass the first beach to the guard beach!

Nice park to visit for a day. We visited history museum/ fort and walked around North point. We liked the beach that has public bathroom , bath and changing room. Dogs were allowed only on one beach and not on some trails.

A very beautiful place. Very well maintained. If you want a nice beach this is the place to go. They even have a bath house with restrooms and showers. Everybody I met was friendly and polite. Nice parking lot. Small snack bar and chair/umbrella rental.

I realize that this is a one-sided review, but so be it. Stayed at one of their cabins over labor day weekend, brought home bed bugs. Disgusting! Obviously park management claims they know nothing about it, have no such problems in their cabins, will not reimburse, and so on. The overall condition of their campground in general has declined substantially in one short year since their big "overhaul". Cabins are filthy and aren't cleaned or maintained properly. Same goes for bathrooms. Probably partially as a result of them cramming way too many people into too tight of a space. We will not be returning - except for maybe as day visitors, just to enjoy the beach and the history, which are, yes, very wonderful there.

Wonderful location. I actually stayed in the barracks as a child with a group. The beache and bath house were so clean. We paid $10 to get in but worth every penny. Take time to enjoy this beautiful park. But if you stay for a while it is well worth it. They have bath houses and snack bar to grab some food. The pier was beautiful and we caught some crabs! The beach was stunningly beautiful.

First time visiting this park and really enjoyed it. Very clean beaches. They have showers and a boardwalk to get over the dunes. Also a snack stand. Drove out to the point to look at the lighthouse then climbed the old WW2 lookout tower. They offer camping and have different activities for children. Out of state entry into the park cost us $10 per car. Well worth it!

My family absolutely loves this place! We drive up every year from Maryland to visit. Out of state it's just $10 to enter and park for the day. There is a great beach house with good. High pressure, hot water showers, changing booths and flushing toilets. There is a little snack bar available for food and drinks too. We love being able to day trip up and then shower and change to go to dinner or the Rehoboth boardwalk. It is often busy, but never on the level of other public beaches, and there are tons of rocks and shells to see on the shoreline. There is also a nice little nature center and bike trails. Great place to visit!

CHSP is our go to beach as we reside in DE. Family and friends really like this beach. The bath house is nice and convenient. Make sure to arrive early or stay away until later in the afternoon. The park has a Capacity Limit and often teaches that limit. The cost is $5 per car for DE instate and $10 per car for out of state. The trails are great and the bike trail allows you to ride to Rehoboth Beach.

A peaceful preserve/state park to drive to. Well worth the drive. There are scenic trails where it seems as though there are no other people around. And the view of the Ocean/Bay is just breathtaking. Simply an amazing place to go.

Dogs allowed all year round! $10 for my out of state car, no problem. Totally worth it for my furry babe. Not crowded, quiet compared to the general beaches, and nice people everywhere. On second thought, it was terrible. Please don't come so I can keep this gem to myself.

This is a wonderful park to visit. Definitely a good days activities to do if not 2. Be there to watch the sunrise and stay till the sun sets. You will not be disappointed. Would have give 5 stars but the mosquitoes tho. They are huge and hungry so take plenty of repellent. This park has history attractions (World War 2),piers,beaches,museums, trails, etc.... a lot to do.
