We always stay here when diving the springs. Clean rooms and nice staff. Never had any issues.

A gem of a hotel. Top class, truly caring customer service. All of the staff, evening, morning and breakfast, were friendly and kind. The room was clean and comfortable. Definitely stay here if you are coming to DeLand.

Clean modern style, pool is heated and open year round, awesome free breakfast buffet.

This is a great pet friendly place to stay! It is very clean & convenient to get to! Janna, at the front desk, was awesome! She was very efficient & very sweet to my sister & me and my little Chihuahua, Holly! The breakfasts were very good & fresh! We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Florida!

I booked the Comfort Inn in Deland on Friday so that my kids would have a pool to swim in in the hot Florida sun. The room was extremely affordable and the front desk associate, Richard, was more than helpful. I called at least 3 times prior to ensure specifics of my reservation and he made me feel at ease and was always happy to help me. The following day, I wanted to check out late because my kids were still in the pool and the other associates made that very easy for me as well. The hotel itself is fair as far as amenities, but the reason I am giving 5 stars is because of the customer service. The staff here is amazing and it is because of them that I will be back.

If I could give them no stars I would. Athena at the front desk has no right to judge someone by the amount of pigmentation they have. Very racist and rude. Asked for her identification and supervisor....she tells me she doesn't have one. She even threatened to use my information that was given on file for her personal use. " (Shocked) by this absurdity.

Room and bathroom could have been cleaner. Wi-Fi was unstable. No room service. TV channel selection was poor.

We were there recently due to hurricane Irma and I went and paid for the night before and was told they would put a hold on for the next night for our room. I went down the next day and the room was never put on hold and yet raised their prices on the weekend cause of Stetson football so they didn't have any rooms available for us so we had to go back to our place in the heat. I think they should have put hurricane victims first before any event. Plus we were told we would get the same rate for that night for the price we paid the night before. Plus the air conditioner in our room was leaking and our carpet in our room was saturated with water which we told them about it the night we checked in and it took them 3 days to come and look at it. I am sorry but they shouldnt put people out that were in a natural disaster for a football event.

Night time front desk man was very nice. The room was clean and the pool and hot tub were a nice perk. Unfortunately due to covid no continental breakfast at this time but do have prepackaged pastrys in the AM

Pros: Employees 5/5 - very nice, friendly and helpful. Location good. Parking good. Motel is clean. Breakfast typical overall - bacon was excellent. Bathroom OK, water hot, toilet flushed well.

First room I checked into (317) was musty. I would have put up with it for the night, but the front desk texted me and said that if everything wasn t a 10, let them know. I called them and they upgraded me to a suite (311). There was an issue with the lock on the door, but overall it was good.

Overall 4/5. Never tried wifi. Employees 5/5. Value 4/5 - a bit pricey, especially since there was a little aggravation.

This was a great motel. Friendly staff. There is no gym, but the hot tub and pool were great. Pet friendly

If I could give this place negative stars I would, I'm not impressed. The beds were super small, the staff accused us of smoking weed in the room which put me over the edge! Then we had to experience not one but three hotel staff investigations about the matter, which came to the same conclusion, imagine that. After approaching them with their poor hospitality I was given a shoulder shrug and a dont know what to tell you. Also after a long day of events, and after walking all the way to the room the key wouldn't work causing us to make a long walk down to the front desk to get it re programmed over and over again not once but 30 time in the three day period we were there. Im always good to hotel staff, and always try to be as clean as possible and understanding no matter where I am but this is the worst hotel I've been to in years. So I hope this is enough to keep people from making the same mistake I did.

I found the staff professional and friendly,also the room was neatly organized,but one issue was trying to locate the motel and then calling,late at not with no answer

Great rooms! the beds were comfy, the staff here were welcoming and the breakfast was outstanding!

A good, clean room with a nice, hot shower. The best part of our stay was the breakfast. The attendant kept the dining area clean and made sure there was always fresh food available, and didn't scold me when I dropping some tongs. We'll be back the next time we are back in DeLand.

Hot tub being repaired. Meh. It's Florida. Hot seems dumb. Pool is all right. I like the breakfast. Good choice of yougurt and toppings for said cultured deliciousness. Waffle flavor changes daily! Biscuits are good enough, but no gravy :( They do allow pets!++ ac works well too. Staff is polite. Beds are not amazing. Kinda lumpy, springs are somewhat noticeable. Close to walmart, publix, dunkin doughnuts/baskin robins, and a delicious seafood restaurant.

The staff is so pleasant and very helpful. The rooms are amazing and so clean. Everyone talks to you here as if they have know you for years. Breakfast is extremely good and a variety of choices. I have stayed in other hotels here in DeLand and I would say this has been my best experience in a hotel here. I will definitely stay here the next time I am in town. They get no star's was given the wrong price 3times then wanted a 250 deposit for what I was miss informed about when I called to book the room

Gabrielle was very accommodating tonight. The room is very nice and clean. Bedding and towels are in pristine condition. I look forward to the breakfast.

Comfortable bed, good location, but room had an overall wet, sort of mildew feel to it. AC did not help this.

I had alot of family in from out of town. This place was awesome!

This hotel was clean, which is the most important thing to us in a hotel. The staff was very pleasant and inviting. They have a wonderful free breakfast in the morning. The is as also a Dunkin Donuts right next door. The king bed in the suite was very comfortable, we slept well. For the price this is a great hotel.

I've stayed at this location multiple times since it is close to my office in Sanford and it never disappoint. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and an easy to get to location keep bringing me back.

This is gonna be wordy so get yourself a drink, sit down & relax.
My husband, 2 grown sons, dog & I booked a room for one night. We had closed on the sale of our house and needed a place to stay until closing on our new house the next day. As it turned out, at the last minute Friday morning we were informed we wouldn't close until Monday.
As you can imagine that left us in a bind (our grown sons had come with us to help us move into our new home--they live many hours away).
We went to the front desk and spoke to Derek P. What an amazing young man he was--we upgraded to a suite immediately and on the 1st floor (our dog is very old and when he needs outside we need to be close to a door as he has arthritis).
I cannot stress enough how helpful Derek was. Our transition from regular room to a suite was finalized in less than 15 minutes and he waived our cot fee. Probably sounds like not too big of a deal, but we had initially planned on staying 1 night, not 4. This was an expense we didn't account for *at all*. Derek was so kind and helpful--I can't stress that enough.
Should anyone at Choice actually read this, please give him the accolades he clearly deserves--he is a credit AND asset to your brand.
Insofar as the room(s), both were tastefully decorated and very clean. The breakfast was nice--not a typical continental b'fast.
I would recommend to *anybody* who needs a place to stay between Orlando & Daytona to come here.

Great location close to a lot of restaurants and local night life and clean rooms

BED BUGS. ...stayed in room 305 the bed was not comfortable and bathroom nor room was cleaned the two nights that I stayed. Spoke to manager on duty and she asked if I had requested no cleaning and I told her no. Management did not address issue with BED BUGS, she just looked at me with disbelief. The breakfast was a big disappointment not a fan of cold food especially cold eggs and bacon. Also during my stay, a promotion was being offered a $50.00 gift car for two separate stays. Well as it turned out my movers were late and I ended up staying another day this time Room 105. After I returned home I called to inquire about the offer that the reservation clerk spoke of and I was told that I didn't qualify even though I stayed on two separate times for a total of three nights. NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

The facility is a comfort inn and what you would expect, but the people there make the difference. I spend a lot of my life in hotels and these folks go way above and beyond the call of duty to make a guest comfortable and take care of anything that comes up. A+

Lovely people and clean comfy rooms! The staff is the best and we were treated great on our visit during a hurricane. It was a stressful time but they made it so much better!

For years I avoided Comfort Inns due to a bad experience. But I was pleasantly surprised with this Comfort Inn .Now I stay here at least twice a week . From housekeeping to management everyone's very warm and friendly, conscientious and want to make your stay as pleasant as possible..At times it feels as if it's becoming my home away from home..Simply because the staff makes you feel very welcomed, comfortable..It may not be a five star hotel with a spa or room service. However they're very conscientious take good care of the facilities..Its a nice little place. it's perfect for what I need..

It was a great experience with high quality service and room quality.

If you decide to spend an extra day or two, make sure you check the rates for those days and get it in writing. I stayed for 2 weeks at the same nightly rate each day and when my plans changed, I called down to the front desk and asked if my room was available so I could stay a couple more nights. The clerk said yes, no problem. When I went to check out, the nightly rate had changed and the 3 extra days I spend cost more then the first 7 I originally made reservations for.......
The hotel allows Dogs so if you have allergies, make sure to ask for a room on the floor that doesn't allow animals.
The free breakfast was good, plenty to choose from but the Orange and Apple juice machine was out of order so it was coffee,water or milk to drink.
The outdoor pool and hot tub are kept clean and the chemicals seemed to be at the correct levels.

Such a wonderful place with kind & helpful staff!!!! What a great value, the room rate per night was the about the same as other places that were WAY below the standard of this hotel! We were a party of three in a room with two double beds so we reserved a roll away bed & it was actually pretty comfortable! The room was immaculately clean & smelled so fresh! I suggest requesting a room with a window facing out of the back of the hotel like ours because it offers a nice forest view! The bathroom was SO clean & refreshing! The breakfast was better than some I've had a restaurants! So tasty and so many options, not just oatmeal and stale toast. They offered fluffy eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles batter & waffle maker, cold yogurts, fresh bagels and fresh fruit! WOW! My family and I make the trip to Deland almost every year and hadn't come across this hotel until this year and we will NEVER STAY ANYWHERE ELSE!! This place is such a great value & we can't wait to return!! Extra special thanks to the staff that were genuinely pleasant & SO helpful!

The hotel is located on a busy street, which is not so dramatic as the windows seal quite well. However, our room smelled really musty and the air conditioning was totally loud so we had to turn off this Manta.

This is an older property, but it is in excellent condition and has been remodeled fairly recently - to some extent or so. Rooms are very nice and spacious, and are equipped with a fridge and microwave. Three floors with ice on the 1st and 3rd floors. On the second floor is a washer and dryer - nice surprise! The free breakfast is good with very good variety. But the people here top everything! Each person has smailed, spoken, offered assistance, and been thoroughly pleasant. Both professional and personable, each employee is as nice as anyone working in a higher rent hotel. Oh, the Internet site I saw mentioned no pets, but I was told pets were allowed when I called to book. A very nice surprise! When I come back to visit, I will definitely stay here. BTW, this is about a mile and a half from Stetson University. Not easy walking distance. Easy driving distance to the University and downtown.

At check in the staff was knowledgeable about the area. My room was clean and neat. Would I recommend this motel to my friends and relatives, I most definitely would stay here again. The price is right.

A small new inn conveniently located in Deland. The staff was welcoming and the lobby was well lit. It s small though and the area where they offer a free breakfast was somewhat cramped. The breakfast was hot and good as was the coffee.
The room was spacious , quiet, and well lit. The bed could have been better, but overall it was fine.

I've stayed here many times the Maids are kind courteous and they clean the rooms perfectly during the coronavirus they still serve breakfast as best they can it's an awesome place to stay we've been here for over a week and have no problems the pool is nice and the hot tub works what can I say great job

Probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. Service was good, we stayed here during Matthew and although things were chaotic in the area, they totally had it under control.

Breakfast was great! All the staff there was friendly and helpful.

Like many others, we lost power during hurricane Irma, we really lucked out when we found an availability at this hotel! We have 4 Small dogs, and due to the hurricane they were allowed which made us feel good to be able to have our fur babies safe with us. Everyone at this hotel made us feel so welcome ! We stayed 5 night's before our power finally came on. The room was comfortable and clean,nice hot breakfast. And the front desk people were amazing! Derek,Jana and the manager, Jennifer is just the best ! Can't recommend them highly enough! Thank you for making us feel safe and comfy in this trying time!
