The initial Pre-Delivery-Indspection (PDI) was not performed properly before I picked up my tractor. Keil Equipment did not level the deck(off 1/2"). The hood hinges were broken and the headlight was not in place. The front tires were "toed in" so much that after 50 hours, my tires are almost bald. My dad has the same tractor and his tires are only slightly "toed in" with 120 hours of use and his tires look new. I originally took pictures and sent them to John Deere, but got no response. I called customer service and they told me I never registered my tractor. They told me I would have to go the dealer to register (and that was from the head of customer service) but I found it on their website anyway. John Deere tells me I am responsible for the cost of getting my tractor to the dealer 1/2 hour away. If it was for a regular service I could understand that, but with picture proof of the original "toed in" tires I feel that it should never have left Home Depot that way since it was defective from the start. John Deere said that is my problem. The head of customer service told me that she is the highest up I could speak to (and she doesn't even know you can register online). I emailed corporate headquarters but they have not responded. So.......if you buy their tractor and is defective out of the box, you are SOL and it will cost you. My first tractor I had for 10 years and the tires were still good. Thanks for the lack of true customer service John Deere

John Deere does not care about it's customers. They will not sell me attachment lugs for the 60g quick coupler and they will not give me the specs so I can have them made. Should have purchased a Kubota mini excavator instead. I filed a complaint with the corporation a week ago and they have not responded.

Bought a new X300 in Oct 2011 and it has had issues with starting since the day I bought it. The 3 different JD Dealers I went to did nothing and I have had no lawn tractor 3 summers out of 5. They keep the tractor and try to milk money out of me each and every time I took it in. Under warranty the first 3 years and did nothing. Now out of warranty want hundreds and hundreds of $$$$'s to fix the original problems.....Go Kubota!!!!!!!!!!! or even Walmart anything runs better than a Deere!!!!!!

I found this beauty an office building built by the Finnish architect Eero Saarinen (he could not see his work because he died a few days after signing the contract). You can see machinery, videos of the firm and a long showcase with "memorabilia". The garden, which is extensive and has several bridges and a lake, was designed by a landscape firm. Its beautiful. This was the cake strawberry after seeing the John Deere pavilion in downtown Moline and the new museum in Waterloo, Iowa.

I purchase a new John Deere riding lawn mower in 2008 from a John Deere dealer. This year the engine fail with less than 90 hours. I changed the oil and filters every year. I wrote to John Deere and they said I apologize you have not been happy with the performance of your LA115. We regret anytime a customer is less than fully satisfied .

My husband bought a tractor about 5 yrs ago when we bought a house. We have had trouble with it starting for the last 2 yrs. We called the corp office and was told to go have it checked because they can't do anything about it because it had to may hrs on it. We don't even have 300 hrs on it in the 5 years that we have used it.Today the motor blow up I do not recommend anyone to buy this product. I would not have highlighted the one star above this post but that was the only way i could post this.

2019 FTC kick-off event was held here again this year. What an inspirational venue for kids to have access to. Thanks to the John Deere staff for making the facility available and supporting STEM in our community.

I have had very bad experiences with John Deere to say the least. I originally purchased a John Deere 2038 at our local business in town. Randomly one day they decided to up and leave town, leaving the town with having to deal with a business now 50 miles away.

My latest experience with John Deere is one that s to be less than desired. I recently was snow blowing my driveway and heard a clunk. I got off my tractor and found a shaft on the ground and noticed my front axle was completely unhooked, and my tractor was laying on the frame. I found a full bolt laying on the ground. I was missing all four bolts holding the axle on. As this had came out it grabbed the housing above it and took those bolts out of that housing on the frame. So all in all 7 of 8 bolts were missing off my frame. I called John Deere in Presque Isle, Maine and they came to get it. The diagnosis came almost a week later.

They re claiming my front axle was not maintained properly and was not greased and caused the axle bolts to sheer off. I asked them asked them how many times this has occurred and they told me they d never heard of it. They then went on to say they ve only heard of 3 other cases ever. And that may be nation wide or even worldwide. I take my tractor twice a year to a local business man who had actually been a head mechanic at the prior John Deere business in town. He maintains my tractor twice a year and maintains all aspects of the tractor. Basically John Deere claims that I am one of 3 cases they ve ever heard of not greasing the front end properly. I find that very hard to believe.

So $2200 later, John Deere is failing to back their product. I also failed to mention my basic warranty expired a little over a month ago. This issue may have started before my warranty expired. But overall, John Deere is pushing a customer to the side and not backing their product. At what point should a landowner have to worry about their bolts falling out of their tractor. No locktite was found on any of the bolts either. So I will be selling my tractor and moving on to KIOTI or Kabota, with little care from John Deere themselves. A true shame. I will be done with John Deere as will many in my community bc of this. It s too bad that John Deere can not take care of their customers. I look forward to moving on to a new tractor and better service. It will not take much.

So I have a John deer 323D track loader and inside the planetary gear system there are some pistons and if anyone is familiar with what I m taking about they understand that these pistons are about 1.5 long very small. Well there are 8 very small pistons in this and one of them went bad. Well guess what instead of buying a new one they are making me buy the whole 150 LB gear system. For just over $4,000 there are about 60 different parts in this gear system and I only need 1 part that weighs about about 2.5 OZ. But they don t care. Only thing they care about is $$$. And I need a seal kit that goes with this and that dam thing cost $375 for 5 small rubber gaskets. What the heck is going on in this world. This company is going to put small business like my self out of business.

Contacted headquarters in February about an issue with getting my core charge back for my John Deere skidder engine. My local dealer had been trying to get out of returning my money. I have contacted headquarters numerous times and I did receive a call from an unidentified man who said he would take care of the problems. I still have not received my core charge from Nortrax in Pembrook NH. They have had my engine for months now and still nothing. I have since tried to contact Headquarters more than once and they say they are going to get back to me but never do. There is a lot more to this story and the mistreatment I have received from Nortrax. If someone from headquarters ever reads this I would appreciate this matter resolved. Sincerely Darleen Placey

I purchased an x394 lawn tractor in February. With a little only 5 hours on the tractor, loose power steering system fittings leaked all the fluid out, leaving the tractor unable to steer or move. I had to pay $50 to have the dealer pick up the tractor to repair it. The fittings for the system were loose from the factory, but Deere's warranty policy does not pay for pickup by the dealer so Deere will not pick up this charge. To have to pay $50 for a tractor with 5 hours on it for a factory defect is wrong. To make matters worse, the customer service rep I've talked to has been rude and sarcastic. He tells me he will call me with an update, but doesn't follow up. I expected more from this company, but I've been very disappointed. I won't buy another product from John Deere.

By not letting farmers fix their own tractors John Deere has made them self s a brand new class of slave holders. I suggest you do not enslave yourself to them by buying any of their products.

If you take into account that this building was completed in 1964. The design and architecture is remarkable.

First impression is a little bit gloomy. After a short time you like it more and more.

The location inside beautiful forest and at a lakeside is for a big company unusual but fits perfectly to Deere's slogan: linked to the land!

Very cool experience!!

Very cool experience!!

Place is very well hidden back off the main road and the landscaping is awesome. Not as big of a building as i though but still very privileged to be allowed into their Word headquarters.

My Deere D110 lawn tractor's engine "blew" a head gasket after 50 hours of use. It also was only purchased in April 2012! All periodic maintenance was performed. Briggs & Stratton refused to pay for all repair cost, saying it was not covered. They also admitted the bolts now had to be torqued to 250 psi vs. the factory specification of 220 psi. Does this mean they knew there was a manufacturer's defect, and didn't alert its customers? My product is also registered. John Deere states their equipment is made in the USA - well I'm an American veteran and this is a disgrace.. My previous Snapper tractor, now Torro, continued working after 25 years.

Amazing spot to take your children of any age. Fantastic offering by Deere to entertain and teach the kids without expense to the family. Wasn't our first visit and it won't be our last either.

I bought a John Deere lawn tractor with all the attachments about 2 years ago. I was told it was the best one on the market at that time. It had the biggest deck. I also bought the biggest snow blower they had, I thought John Deere was a reliable company. The bearing for the front tires and the metal that the tire mounts on was worn out. When I took it in to be fixed at Day Power Equipment in Roy, Utah, it took over 2 months to get the part. Now we are having problems with the starter motor. We took it back to Day Power Equipment and it has been sitting in the shop for 4 months waiting for a replacement fly wheel. The original fly wheel was made of plastic, which is why it wore out. We have had to borrow lawn mowers for 4 months just to mow out grass. Day Power has called both John Deere and Briggs and Stratton which makes the motor and we re told that there is nothing that they can do about it. We just have to wait until they get around to making our part. I will not recommend John Deere to anyone and I will never purchase another John Deere product. I am getting ready to put everything I own from John Deere on a crate and send it back and put it on YouTube so everyone can see.
