Agonizingly long wait to see doctors. Been coming here for a couple of years. Zero improvement on wait times. Usually about 3 hours. They never answer their phones. Always have to come in person to make appointments. Sad, sad, sad.

I was on a queue for a call back while looking at all these single stars getting that heavy feeling when someone called me back, explained things, directed me to another who picked up the phone, got two appointments made within a reasonable time (not urgent) ... what a refreshing surprise! so far so good!

Worst place!!! Never coming back!!! They make you wait like two hours. If your appointment is at 5:15 pm the make you wait until 7 pm to see the doctor and then they get you out in 5 minutes. This place was not like this, it changed so much. Horrible costumer service.

I am so greatful for the staff here, especially Ms Ashely! She is the best. This location is the best and the staff so far has been offering exceptional service and for that I am eternally grateful. The level of service is compared to none, I would recommend Ryan health 97th street location to anyone.

The worst hospital ever. I waited a month for an appointment and then they canceled it on me...on the same day!...just hours beforehand. Then they were rude to me. They treat you very poorly here. We deserve better. Find a better place than this if you can.

Being in the field of human services for 14 years, I've been dealing with numerous providers for a long time. I can definitely say it was a change visiting this location compared to the location on 10th ave. Its quick, bright, and huge. I love their color scheme. It's so inviting. The staff is professional and so sweet. Ryan Chelsea on 10th Avenue is so abrupt, unprofessional, and barely answers the phone. So, I'm thankful that the 97th street location was a breath of fresh air. :)

Worst doctors office I ve ever been to. First of all, You ll be lucky to get someone to answer the phone without waiting on hold for 30 mins and if they do answer they re not very helpful. Ive never had so many issues just trying to get my perscription refilled in my life as I have here. I m almost out of medication and have waited a week with no call back and my pharmacy has even contacted me saying the doctor still hasn t contacted them to approve the medication. (this is the second time this has happened and I ve been on this medication for 10 years). The last time they wouldn t call my insurance to approve it so they just gave me something else instead... you can t just switch patients off of medicine Iike that. Stay far away from this place, it s horrible.

The most unprofessional medical practice I have ev...

The most unprofessional medical practice I have ever had the misfortune to be involved with.
After following my doctor from her previous position, I made an appointment. The front desk/answering service was extremely rude when I tried to reschedule my appointment that had been cancelled by my doctor. Because I think highly of my doctor, I persevered and left a message for my doctor - which, frankly, I was not even sure she would get, due to the hostility I had received!
My doctor eventually got back to me after 2 days and personally scheduled a new appointment 2 weeks later. She also apologized to me for the rude treatment I received from the answering service/front desk.
I was advised to come in 30 minutes early on the day of my appointment as I had to fill out various forms. My appointment was set for 8:30am and I arrived at the Center by 8:00am, after driving into NYC (1 hour and 15 mins). When I entered the building I was told by the security guard that he thought my doctor had called in sick. I went upstairs to the office and was given some forms to complete. I then asked the woman at the front desk if she knew whether my doctor was coming in and she said that she was expected. I informed the woman at the front desk of what the security guard had told me, and after making a phone call, she confirmed that my doctor was not coming in. I am not sure at what stage I would have been told this...... had I not mentioned it?
I am a business professional and I consider this to be unacceptable behavior in every sense of the word. Why was I not notified by text, email or phone that my appointment had been cancelled? Instead, I wasted my time, effort and money battling NYC commuter traffic. I incurred tolls and parking fees, not to mention the cost of gas! Neither the Center nor my doctor had the courtesy to contact me ahead of time.
Nobody should have to waste this much time and effort without the courtesy of some prior communication. This is the digital era for goodness sake! We all carry cell phones.
I wholeheartedly accept that we all get sick....... but please, have the courtesy and professionalism to call and inform us ahead of time.
How disappointing this whole experience has been and I pity anyone else who has to go through a similar situation.
I am thoroughly disgusted with the practice in general and my doctor, for not having the common courtesy to call, when they/she knew I was coming long distance for this appointment! SHAME ON YOU!!!!

Avoid the psychiatric clinic here. They are rude. They only see you if they like you. You can't fail their "attitude test" or they do not accept you as a patient...and they are using federal money. Shame on them! That is not legal.

Horrible service one hour waiting for someone to pick up phone and no one ever picked up. After waiting all that time had to leave hospital and go to the center and pick up referal when they could have just faxed to the hospital. When I got there all sitting at their desk and no patients at the counter. My mother is almost 81 and they should be more careful of giving appointments and not making sure that they have all the paper work need before they leave. That is what they get pay for and not sitting looking petty behind their desk. Customer service sucks. No elderly person should be running around because of their negligence. U need to get a live person to answer your phones not a machine that keeps you waiting for hour and you never get a live person. Cash or government money shouldn't be a reason for such a horrible service.

I had the best experience there in the eye clinic. Ran into a problem with my insurance and they were professional and helped me handle it. The eye department and the patient records department were awesome. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!1
