Had my second corset fitting with the lovely Deborah and Tadiwa this week. They are so lovely and knowledgeable about the female form and what suits your frame and structure. It's such a treat to have a bespoke corset made to fit you exactly and it completely transforms your body into a curvy, sexy, womanly shape without looking too 'alien'. It's also amazing for your posture and encourages a straight back and neck AND so much more comfortable than I imagined. A treat well worth all the fittings and time spent making it.

Ah! I just had the best time trying on corsets with the lovely Deborah Brand and Tadiwa Wazara! And to think I almost cancelled my appt cause I was so insecure about my body. Plus, I had this image of women from the Victorian era with their ribs and waist squeezed into a tiny garment, BUT NOT SO AT ALL!!! IT WAS AHHHMAZING!!! SO COMFORTABLE & IT'S GREAT FOR YOUR POSTURE TOO! WHO KNEW?! So now I feel sexy as I wanna be literally letting the corset embrace my curves. I just might become a corset-junkie.

My Deborah Brand bespoke corset is one of my most loved possessions. Beautifully designed and handstiched to every finer detail. I feel absolutely exquisite when I put it on, confident in my body and it s so versatile, I can even dress it down with a pair of boyfriend jeans. However, the experience of having it fitted personally by Deborah herself is something I will always treasure. I would never have imagined myself daring to wear a corset, however I was introduced to Deborah through a stylist friend and reluctantly went for an initial fitting. Deborah immediately made me feel at ease. I was able to talk to Deborah candidly about how I did and didn t want to look. She was super patient and understanding of my body insecurities and she assured me that she would take everything I said into consideration and talked at length about the different styles and fabrics. I felt on a high after the first fitting and when I went to the final fitting I was super happy and blown away with my beautiful bespoke piece. I wear my corset time and time again and feel special every time I wear it. I m not surprised that Deborah has created designs for Salma Hayek.. although I have to say to Salma I got my Deborah Brand corset first!

My custom made corset is one of the best purchases I have made in years! The corset is well made and cinches my waist about 4"-5"! It has also helped me with my posture. I often wear it while working at my desk or on the sofa. I have also noticed that since wearing it regularly, my waist is smaller! I love these corsets.
