I m writing this review sipping on a glass of tea from Loose Leaf Tea Market. I ve tried a few of their teas now and found I ve loved them all! Such great tea coupled with the awesome customer service they have - even with online orders, and I ll be a regular customer! Thanks for doing such a great job!
While the woman that waited on me seemed knowledgable about tea that is where the good things end.
The tea is stored in large glass containers. Tea is not happy being exposed to light or air. Large glass containers being opened frequently is generally a bad thing, but a high turnover can avoid that so I let it pass.
In the tin the tea smells amazing, but it suffers from what I call Teavana Syndrome. Putting the tea into the pot, a lot of fannings gathered at the bottom of the pot. Upon closer inspection and a lick of my finger, it seemed to be flavoring. After brewing to the instructions the tea had a very flat flavor. After adding a few spoons of sugar it opened up and gave a syrupy sweet flavor.
If you like sugary tea at exorbitant prices, this is for you. My two ounces of tea cost me a stunning $40! At my home tea shop that would be enough for a whole week of tea. Whole Foods nearby had a four ounce package of Rishi Tea for about $15.
The best tea I've ever had! I had a lot of questions for the staff when I visited, and they were delighted to help me find exactly what I was looking for! They provided free samples and I left eager to try my new tea. I wasn't disappointed and I plan to return soon for more, since the variety is wonderful!
Love the different teas but also the loose leaf herbs and spices sold here. All organic and wonderful.
The reviews on this place were great so when in town - I high tailed it here, but the assistance once inside was deplorable. First time there and it s as if the sales woman knew nothing about tea at all. I asked several soft ball questions that she neither had answers nor suggestions for at all, and all that I had was an upset stomach - nothing major. Maybe this place is great for some, but I d recommend ordering online before going in store. Even with that said, I don t think I d support the brand again simply based on this experience alone. There was nothing in this store that I could not find elsewhere, so customer service was the breaking point for me.
I love Loose Leaf Tea market!!! When I go inside the staff is always very friendly and helpful. I also ordered online and I received my package early. Inside was a hand written card and two free samples of tea along with my purchase. I love those extra touches that make me feel that they truly care for their customers!
Love this place! Tea is excellent! Strawberry Kiss & Vanilla Cookie flavors :)
Good area good price its all the way in the back of the shopping center
Great little store for me . I have been a loyal customer for many years.I was just there 3 days ago to purchase local made honey. This honey is produced in Flagstaff Az. It helps greatly with my allergies.
Amazing place for loose leaf tea; tons of different options that change every once in a while for a fresh variety. Get yourself some drawstring teabags or a diffuser and get your tea addiction on.
Wonderful little tea place in central Phoenix. Many types/flavors to choose from. You can also order online but the instore experience is better - staff is very attentive and will help you find what you like.
Kind, genuine, knowledgable staff and quality products! I was so sad last year after finding out my favorite tea of 10+ years from another company was being discontinued. My boyfriend stumbled upon Loose Leaf Tea Market and the staff was able to replicate a similar but better version! It was the best birthday gift and best of all, they keep your custom blends on file so going back for a refill is a breeze. Thank you Loose Leaf!! :)
Always a huge selections of teas and herbs, great staff
Service was amazing! Informative in a relaxing, non-intimidating environment. Wide variety of teas and spices available as well as essential oils, herbal remedies, and other related items. I definitely recommend Loose Leaf
Every time I am in Phoenix I go there. The staff is great.
the lady working when I went in was very rude, will never go back there.
I went in to get some tea. Awesome and very attentive guy helped me make a selection. I will return frequently. They are true tea people!! Prices are also reasonable. I highly recommend.
Wonderful little hidden gem. Very friendly staff and a nice assortment of teas conveniently prepackaged to go. The store is situated back on a pedestrian walk through that gives a nice ambiance.
This was my first trip into a store like this. I had a great experience and was able to gain quite a bit of information about different tinctures and combinations for depression, anxiety, etc. I will absolutely be returning for more!
Helpful staff. Amazing selection. Been going for my tea fix for a couple years
The store is very clean and welcoming . The woman who assisted me was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tea is excellent I tried the Monk's Blend which is delicious and the Lucky Morning Spice which is also great. I will be shopping here on a regular basis.
Extremely disappointed with this store. I went in search of loose black teas that were not Earl Grey. The selection was limited and the choices that they did have, had no aroma. I took a chance and bought a couple of ounces anyway. Wrong on my part. It tasted just like it smelled - stale. In the garbage it went. The sales person was very nice but the product was horrible. If you're looking for good black tea do not go here.
Owner was very rude I would never do any business there..
I've walked by this shop countless amount of times but never happened to walk in. What a mistake! I love loose leaf tea and the selection is stellar. Justin was very helpful in pointing out some blends I would like and provided fantastic customer service. I know where I will be going for all my future tea needs (and where to get gift cards from now on!). I highly recommend Loose Leaf Market.
Friendly saleswoman. Good advice! The selection is nice and I also struck right away!
Clean, well organized shop with an excellent selection, try the Blue Velvet!
I live in Texas, so I ve only been able to order their delicious teas from online. It s so hard to find quality organic loose leaf tea now days. Wish I lived closer, so I could smell them all in store!! Highly recommend their Bulletproof Breakfast Blend and Mango Green Decaf. Also loving their loose leaf tea club! It s a great way to taste teas from their shop.
Great little shop featuring tea. Good if you are really into tea, they have a huge variety of choices and always have some fun samples. They share a parking lot with all of the other little shops in the Town & Country center. This is a popular outdoor strolling shopping area with many fun eateries and unique shops line Loose Leaf.
While not the best teahouse I know, it is an excellent local option to source rare spices. They have a tremendous variety. They have some great tea blends that makes it worth seeking out (e.g., Voice of an Angel).
This place has wonderful healing herbs and herbal tea blends to help with any condition! A lovely store!
The store has a nice variety of fresh teas and incense. I came in with my daughter who absolutely loves fresh teas and incense. The one employee who was working that day offered help but we didn't require any help.
Love getting my incense and teas and bentonite clay from here . Very friendly and informative place
Picked up a couple of gifts, lady at the counter was very helpful, pricey.
Helped me pic out some various teas to use in my new Breville tea maker. Tryed two so far yummy
As nice a tea store as you will find anywhere. Highly recommended for the tea infused connoisseur
I use to shop at this store when I lived in Arizona.. Amazing products glad I found you online, so I can have enjoy this product in Michigan... thank you
Having the background of a tea drinker and now a coffee drinker as well it was interesting to visit the Loose Leaf Tea Market and find out about all types of teas from different parts of the world. The market has organic whole leaf tea, loose leaf tea, award winning tea blends and brewed tea as well. They even have loose leaf tea infusers, kettles, tea pots and tea strainers which are special. One can also buy tea from them online. I would have loved to sit and have a cup of tea right there but I learned that the place is not a restaurant and they do not have that service. However, they took me to the next door restaurant which will be officially opened in two weeks and it is called Early Baker.
A very informative and interesting visit.
10/10 awesome tea shop. One of the absolute best in the state, offers a huge selection of teas and the best part is you can buy loose leaf tea as well, took me forever to find a good place with loose leaf tea and this one ended my search. They have reasonable prices and the service is fantastic, would absolutely recommend this place for drinks or to buy tea in bulk!
Outstanding, just love this shop and what they offer, very professional.
A large variety of tea is here, a couple of things more than that. The girl seemed helpful. This is a great place to get tea
I have been going here since I moved to Phoenix, The gentleman behind the counter is extremely knowledgeable and personable. I have no complaints!! Great selection!! Good quality!!!
Like tea? Like a million varieties and always clears my sinuses just being in there!
Not excited about the small number of herbs I needed that were actually in stock. I also had to wait quite awhile for service. I found a place in Glendale with better service, less expensive herbs, and a better selection.
I love this store. Been going there for years. Best place to buy herbs in the valley.
Drinking "Naked Chai" and it is sooo good. Expensive, but so very spicy and delicious. The flavor is making my night.
After walking in the green door the aromatic variety of teas hits you and the glass jars draws your attention but then you have a sample and look at all the awesome trinkets.... Pricey but great selection and service!!!
Fantastic selection of tea products. Very knowledgeable staff.
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. This place is business oriented and not customer oriented. Very toxic experience with the owner from the beginning and later the store employee, their intention of wellness does not follow through in their service.
Good selection of loose teas. Have a good number of custom mixtures.
