Last September I started training at Afgemat after years or hardly any exercise. In the time that I now participate in the 'small group' sessions, I got to know Mathijs as a very enthusiastic and enthusiastic (personal) trainer who really has an eye for every individual who trains him; he always manages to encourage everyone to get the best out of himself and does this in a very pleasant and professional manner. Mathijs leaves everyone in his or her value and offers each and every one of them new challenges on his or her personal level every week. I notice that I have become much fitter in the short time that I am working at Mathijs and because of the nutritional support I receive I have also lost more than 10 kilos. All in all, I can recommend everyone who is looking for a good way to go sporting or who is looking for a new challenge on the sporting level to also go to work at Afgemat!
I have always enjoyed sports but thanks to the guidance of Matthijs at Afgemat I have been able to achieve much better results. A lot of attention is given to your posture and correct execution of the exercises. That makes my body much stronger and also tighter what a very nice side effect ;-) It is always fun because you train in groups and Matthijs is very motivating and enthusiastic as a trainer. He also taught me to be more aware of nutrition and to find a better balance. I can highly recommend everyone! It gives energy!
Jaded is a very nice gym! The enthusiasm of Mathijs and the other athletes is contagious. Recommended for anyone who wants to get fit or fitter.

Mathijs is a very dedicated positive trainer, who drags you through difficult moments and motivates you not to give up. As a lady with obesity, I feel safe and tired and all the people who train there are all very sweet and supportive. The training sessions are varied and very spicy every time, but I go back to Afgemat with great pleasure. Thank you Mathijs.
