The best mall in Amsterdam convenient and organised

A pizza prepare before your eyes, with a chef very adept at his hands, go and discover their restaurant on the 5th floor, it's really great! It s more like a buffet!

Also great discounts on major brands!

Lower floor has separate brands housed and the rest of the floors are mixed.

You can easily lose half a day in here if you take it slow. There is also a place to eat at the top and it's very close to Kalverstraat so you can quickly continue shopping.

The Dutch version of Harrods; this big and luxurious department store is historic, iconic and downright part of the Amsterdam experience.
Be sure to check out the window displays around Christmas!

Nice but hard to see beautiful things that are affordable for a student

This is one of the great department stores of the world. Plenty of well knowledgeable, educated, and trained sales staff to actually serve you. Amazing range of clothing, shoes, accessories, cosmetics. Boutiques from every name brand for men and women are all here. Restaurants and cafes serve a wide range of food and drink. This is a great place to to spend a rainy day.

Beautiful department store Many choices. Friendly staff. Very clean toilets. Very easily accessible by public transport.

Ridiculous service at the parking garage, 150 if you have lost your parking ticket and very unfriendly spoken to by the employees.

Large, neat and quite organised. Not enough staff on higher floors.

Amsterdam's answer to Selfridges, you'll find similar offerings to your usual Luxury Department stores.

Great place to shop for big and expansive brandnames but they have the most Beautyful gifts

Not worth the visit. The department store offers nothing special apart from the usual luxury brands that can be found in every other big city.

Huge range and well-arranged shop, products are very much at the price but of good quality.

Was an interesting shopping experience. Had everything there what I was lookin for, very kind and competent stuff. The food in the restaurant was also pretty good, can recommend it to everyone out there!

Beautiful shop, top location. Service varies by department. Many staff are talking to each other on the ground floor instead of focusing on the customer. This is better eg with Chanel, people are more personal there. Perhaps because the previous is "shop in shop". For men's clothing, the service differs per section, sometimes staff can do things in height. A number of employees do not realize that the customer is king, the previous of course lies with the floor managers who have no insight into their staff, sloppy to say the least and detracts from the shopping experience. Departments where the atmosphere is clearly better and the service is good are: the office / book department, the crockery and cooking equipment department and the bedding department. I recommend De Bijenkorf to hire better managers who explain to their staff what can be expected of them. In recent years, the Bijenkorf seems to focus more on tourists, which means that I go more to specialty shops. Too bad, to see such a beautiful company slip. Perhaps the Bijenkorf could get inspiration in London at Harrods, there is the service you would expect from a "high end store".

You know what to expect at De Bijenkorf. A chic department store. However, what disappointed me was that there was no air conditioning. You would expect it to be pleasantly cool when the temperature outside reaches summer values.

De Bijenkorf is one of the best department stores in the world! And by that I mean customer service and customer friendliness. Have been a loyal customer for many years. Last Wednesday at Charlotte Tilbury was helped by Gene (if I write his name correctly) super nice guy and honest. Normally I am very critical when it comes to makeup and am never impressed but wow Gene has so much knowledge and an eye for detail! Thank you for the tips and advice
