We had a party to celebrate the launch of our new brand and they created a tailored drink menu that featured two options with our brand logo on top of the actual drinks. The Snake Oil Cocktail team was incredibly friendly and was a contributing factor for making our event awesome! Great experience and would highly recommend for special events.

There are 3 things I wanted for my wedding: good food, good music, and OPEN BAR! Well, Snake Oil came through big time with the best cocktails and the best service around. This team is top notch for their ability to be professional, yet jovial. People that usually don t drink we re imbibing in the signature cocktails provided by Snake Oil. The bartenders were fun, friendly and kept the party very subtly under control. Lindsey Chronert was a joy to work with. She even helped us coordinate having our favorite brewery s beer, which is usually not sold in kegs to the public, featured at our reception. She went above and beyond to make this day special for us, and we will never forget that. Highest recommendations for Snake Oil Cocktail Company to be your beverage caterer. I am the founder of a men's organization in San Diego and had the opportunity to partner with Snake Oil for a Mixology Workshop event. Let me tell you, Frankie, their Director of Mixology, is the real deal! He took our group through a history of whiskey (and other spirits) that spanned over multiple centuries. Not only was he knowledgable, but he was engaged with the group and had an energy about him that really kept the event moving. He then broke down how to build a proper Old Fashioned and a Smash. After the tutorial, we all had the opportunity to make our own drinks!
Lindsey, Snake Oil's marketing manager, was responsive and efficient during planning. She worked directly with me to cover all needs for the event and she was even present at the venue for setup and to make sure we had everything we needed on the day of. I was again impressed with their professionalism and attention to careful detail all the way down to their staff member Aaron who assisted the event.
I would definitely contact Snake Oil about doing an education event for your group. It's a great way to get their cocktail expertise as well as host an event where the attendees get to learn something they can take home and use over and over again. I've made about 17 Old Fashioned's at home since the event. Great company, great people!

I've worked with Snake Oil for a few years now to service large private and corporate events, as well as small intimate weddings and gatherings. The owner is very knowledgeable about the events industry and his team is amazing. They would check in with us regularly to collaborate on different events and have brought a few large scale events to our venue.

If your guest list is anything like ours, then having amazing drinks is a complete necessity. We went with the package that included a His and Her specialty drink, 3 different spirits, 2 wines, and 3 beers for our guests to choose from. While everyone knew that they were able to request any type of drink with the spirits available or go the beer/wine route, they consistently went for the specialty cocktails that my wife and I selected. Both drinks were extremely well made, consistent, and tasted exactly how they had when we went for our initial tasting with Snake Oil. During the event, the bartenders were very flexible and took care of our 200+ guest count without any issue. I would recommend Snake Oil time and time again for anyone who wants great drinks without any hassle.

I see this company every time I go to the Symphony, and I'm always tempted by the cocktails. The signature cocktails of the evening always sound so intriguing. Well, tonight I finally tried one, and for an over $10 cocktail, I was disappointed. My drink was a bit watery and tasteless. Still, you gotta love the name!

Snake Oil was a huge hit at my wedding last weekend. All of the guests loved the cocktails and bartenders. Needless to say my wife was very happy with me for finding them. I highly recommend this service. The best bartenders and the best drinks, hands down.

We found Snake Oil Company through TheKnot. What an amazing experience! We went to a tasting and they provided us with a selection of 11 hand crafted cocktails using the base alcohol of our choices with fresh garnishes and concepts. It was so difficult for us to narrow down their signature cocktails to just a few choices as they were all so tasty. We felt very comfortable with hiring them to bar-cater our wedding from that first experience.
On the big day the Snake Oil team arrived right on time and got to work setting up. They had two different bars - one for cocktail hour and one for reception. The transition was nearly seamless and everyone was complimenting us on our drink selections. Our guests were largely a non drinking crowd but the flavors, colors and aromas of the drinks couldn t keep them away. The bartender had a comfortable and professional demeanor making pleasant small talk the whole evening. We will strongly consider hiring Snake Oil for our future large events.
Awesome company! They've been at the past couple of Google City Expert events I've attached and have provided consistently great service. Last night was no different--the drinks were fantastic and the employees were attentive and friendly. Julie went out of her way to explain the different choices to us and was genuinely patient and kind while we decided. This company has a promising future--I definitely recommend them for your next private event!
These guys did my friend's wedding beautifully! The groom is a grapefruit farmer so they incorporated the farm's grapefruits into the drinks. The venue had lavender plants all around so they took sprigs and put them in the drink. Simply gorgeous and tasty to boot. I follow them on Instagram now and their cocktails always look delicious and adorably matching the theme of the event.
Snake Oil Cocktail Company provided not only amazing custom cocktails at Digitopia's launch party last night, but stellar service! The entire staff was friendly, accommodating, and magical. Some of the guests would turn to find a refreshed drink in front of them, that appeared as if from nowhere. One-of-a-kind experience!

Overall had an excellent experience, but we did have a small mishap that was immediately resolved once the owners, Michael and Frankie, became aware of the situation.
The good: the guests loved their special cocktail concoctions. They were very responsive prior to the event and prior to all payment. They dealt with all the licensing issues with the venue and made that part quite seamless.
The bad that became good: There was some sort of miscommunication between Snake Oil and my wedding venue. A rented bar from our venue was used that was not supposed to be used and Snake oil was supposed to set up their own bar that was not set up. Our Snake Oil sales coordinator (the only person we had been in contact with throughout the whole process) attempted to contact our venue to get a resolution. but a month later there was no resolution and no update.
It was not until my review that the owners Frankie and Michael immediately reached out to us to make things right. All-in-all the owners were very genuine, dedicated to their service, and truly sorry about the miscommunications that went on during the wedding.
BOTH of them had taken the time out of their busy day to have a meeting with us to understand and resolve the problem beyond our satisfaction. To me, it shows they really care when both of them show up to a meeting. They could have easily just had us speak with one of them. They notified us they were uninformed of the whole situation-- had they been informed there would have been a more immediate resolution.
Even with the mishap, if we had to do it again we would definitely choose Snake Oil again as we love working with small owners that truly care about what they do and are excellent at what they do. If an event as big as a wedding something is bound to go wrong, but what matters is that they did everything possible to make it right.
