Convenient location but bad service, not worth what you pay for it. My room was not properly suitable to host 4 people (one sofa-bed was setup and we found out it was broken, the staff had to replace it almost at midnight). The continental or full breakfast is expensive for what they provide.

A reasonably affordable hotel with a friendly staff. Room size fair enough but cleanliness guaranteed. A place well placed for quick access to the metro as well as tourism because very close Westminster. I recommend.

A peaceful place. Near the center. Nearby metro stop.
Heating that you can regulate without problem. Very good shower. Very hot water and pressure.
The only downside is the bed that is soft and you notice some springs

Tired building but clean. A bit noisy due to road traffic noise and no ability to adjust heat in room. Staff are friendly and food in restaurant is reasonably priced. Relatively inexpensive with several good pubs in the neighborhood.

The first day the shower did not work. When I went down to talk to the reception staff, they told me they did not have rooms to give us, but they let us go to the next door (which surprisingly was free) to shower. Of course, the next day the breakdown was fixed and we could take a shower with ease. The room was not very clean, as was the bathroom either. The staff was very unprofessional at all times.

Good location, reasonable price, clean rooms. Elevator is a little scary, food is okay. The service was nice with us except M****a. I think she didn't know how to manage business relationships very well.

This is a budget hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The grounds require some attention as well as the foyer area. Breakfast is okay but not a huge selection for continental breakfast option.

The hotel is in need of updating the room we had was small but again dated I would not use this hotel again. I feel it is not value for money and although situated in Kennington Rd being near Waterloo it has a main Police Station opposite so if you have windows open at night it's constant Police sirens. The room also had no air-conditioning.There was a shower though modern it was small.

Nothing to say about the hotel and the room which perfectly fulfilled its role being comfortable, clean and with a pleasant bathroom. A bit disappointed though by the restaurant area of the hotel. The staff is helpful and very friendly.

This is for a couple staying.

This is for a couple staying.

* 2 water bottles on day one, none after that.
* Towel changes were a single towel and a hand towel. We had to then repeatedly ask for a second towel.
* The room had a number of aged or worn fittings in it.
* The bar staff barely spoke English that was good enough to be understood when asking for basic things, let alone figuring out the prices for beers (not written on a menu anywhere).
* Air conditioning in the rooms should be a basic item these days, not a fan.
* The hotel restaurant menu is dated, like much of the hotel, and needs a range of vegetarian and vegan options.
* Some guy knocked on our door, didn't say who he was or why he was there, asked if the maid has been. He was told she had been and she had been told not to worry about our room. I asked him about the water and he said he'd find out. Never saw him again, never heard any more about the water.
* I asked the front desk about the water and was told I can buy it from the bar. The bar guy gave me free tap water in a glass. A lady went to the bar later and was given a bottle for free...
* Numerous staff were wandering around the restaurant with alcoholic drinks. Definitely alcoholic as I saw them being made, including some guy who looked like he might be the owner or manager, seeing as he wandered into the kitchen in T-shirt and shorts
* One night the chefs were having an argument about something, but in the bar area. This carried on for a while - not a good look to have that going on, and one of the chefs just sitting or in the bar area as this went on/off behind us.

The lower price is enticing, for London, however other options should be explored...

The facility was too old, location was good, breakfast was not eaten and I do not know.
It was a twin room with two long vertical beds of very loose springs, and it warmed up when I turned on the heater. There was no fridge, but electric kettle and various teas were available. No sound insulation ..

Simple hotel, but it has everything you need for a short stay. The hotel as a whole and the rooms are older, with carpet on the floor and no safe in each room, only at the reception. They have in-room coffee (Nescafe).
Offers breakfast as an option (including traditional English Breakfast with beans).
The location is very good, about 5-10 min walk to Big Ben / Parliament and London Eye.
There is a subway station one block from the hotel (Lambeth North).
Next to the hotel has a hostel with Pub along with local and European beers, it's worth a trip there.

Very good hotel for a city break. The location is perfect. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast could be improved and a wider choice of food offered. We would come back.

Location close to all main attractions & public transport, breakfast good thank you Igor you re a lovely guy reminding us of breakfast vouchers to get from reception. We arrived a couple hours early & Veronika not only did she help me via email when I was trying to get through to Wyndham rewards to cancel part of our stay before our flights to London departed Sydney, Australia, she held our bags in storage before we checked in, giving us downtime to look for somewhere to eat and familiarise ourselves with our surroundings keep in mind we were still jet lagged after 22hours in the air. Other staff friendly however when I rang reception from my room which they told me to do if I needed anything phone rang 20 times before I gave up, tried again straight after first attempt 20 rings no answer. Came downstairs to see why & 3 staff I could see, 2 in the back room 1 leaning into a back room talking to another & 1 sitting at reception, why no one tended to the needs of their guests I don t know. Do u even care? I ve seen many poor reviews you ve ignored this far & they were written a long time ago. That was disappointing as a Worldmark Wyndham Club Asia South Pacific owner of over 15 years & Wyndham Rewards Club members our previous associate hotels & resorts to our club and owners far exceeded the overall quality stay of this hotel & will not be using my Wyndham rewards club for this hotel again. I have already submitted this review in a separate evaluation to our WorldMark Asia South Pacific Club CEO Barry Robinson. Now the room, ok cleaning other than the fan that has dust stuck to it, maids came replaced what we used when needed. No air conditioning & this is bad especially with guests who have pre-existing health conditions as I nearly passed out a few times from not being able to control my own room temperature especially during tourist season in summer. We also have asthma yet staff are very cosy with their all day air con in the foyer downstairs. Although fan provided minimal relief still not good enough. My epileptic seizures can be triggered if weather is too hot so a room with a/c is appropriate. Was told were no double rooms for 3 people so my husband & myself could have privacy from our 3rd party guest, were given 3 beds; 2 bigger same size and comfortable the only down side was kicking it with your toes when walking past it as room is long not wide, 3rd bed smaller like a child s bed & they knew we were 3 adults although our 3rd guest could not make it to stay with us this was besides the point. As an owner member of our WorldMark Wyndham Club Asia South Pacific I m glad I came to assess this hotel for our owners. 3rd bed was also hard & uncomfortable you can feel the springs through the underlay, our room felt like a cell room with a small window. Bathroom clean, shower too small be careful not to hurt yourself coz there s no room to move. Outdated building that needs a major over haul for health and safety standards. Overall doesn t matter if the location is great for all main attractions to have an enhanced holiday worth your money is be somewhere comfortable also so the owners for Days Hotel Waterloo need to up their standards and renovate because it is no good having a nice looking reception area with uncomfortable stays in your room especially if the hotel income comes from those who you provide rooms for.

Edited to 1 Star from 2: Whilst we had one of the continental breakfasts that we paid for; milk in cappuccino machine had no milk in it when we asked the lady she told us to pour the cold milk for the cereal into our coffee. Also the sirens up and down the street is bad. I noticed in some reviews pictures some rooms had queen beds made yet when I asked them to make sure we had a queen bed I was told to push my own beds together, I m sorry but I m sure if a customer asks for a queen bed your staff should push the beds together & make it into a queen at their request. Also bludgers came in off the street a lot up to our seating outside the hotel to ask for cigarettes. No Security!

Not recommended, a lot of money for what you get. Hotel in decline, parts of the walls and doors everywhere. Bathroom super small and toilet continues to run all night. Breakfast a real letdown, only cheese and chocolate as a fill. At English breakfast which is even more expensive is tough bacon, unsavory sausage and cold eggs.

Great price for the location, within walking distance of the eye, parliament, Lambeth North tube stop a little over a block away. Room basic but clean, staff super friendly, makes a great home base. Will be back for sure.
