I go here because the alternative is to drive to K...

I go here because the alternative is to drive to Kazoo on a regular basis. I go to Day one for allergy shots that my allergist in Kazoo gives them permission to give. While the nurses are usually nice they aren't the most competent. It seems like they always have a new nurse that they are training to give shots. They never read up on my history or notes sent from my allergist until I prompt them because I'm disagreeing with what they want to do. They will yell at you if you disagree with them too much even if you are in the right.

They hustle you in and out of your appointments like you are cattle. I don't feel like anyone really listens or cares. I went here as a follow up to a car accident after being released from the hospital 3 years ago. I was in terrible pain and was bruised all over. They wanted to immediately put me on blood pressure meds because my blood pressure was high. Well duh, if you feel miserable and in pain your blood pressure can be very high. Med's shouldn't be your first treatment. Getting someone feeling better should have been. Figuring out what was causing my pain should have been a priority but wasn't with them. Turned out they should have done an MRI and they never did.

If you miss an appointment by accident you are charged $50 and sent a nasty gram by their office. If you need to get back in for an appointment they put you on a 8 week list because even though they have appointments they don't want to give them to you because you missed one and you are in trouble. This behavior tells me they don't like their patients it is just about the bottom line. Accidents happen, they have no idea if I missed my appointment because I was in the hospital or even died. Nasty grams should never be sent they are rude.

I've highly thought about going elsewhere it's just trying to find and figure out who is a decent doctor in Battle Creek, MI

No Results, just Prescriptions.......................

No Results, just Prescriptions.......................... I was a patient at this office for many years. Found that the turnover of Doctors/Nurses/Staff was so high that no one knew me or my situation. Felt like an assembly line getting in and out along with giving me medication instead of finding out what caused my pain. I spent over 5 years trying to find out what was wrong and was told I have IBS and had to "Deal" with it. After getting fed up with the pain I received a few recommendations for a new doctor and my new doctor did tests and found out my Gall Bladder was only functioning at a 30% effeciency and I am lactose intolerant. Day One Health Care does not do a great job in any aspect of their business.

I ve always been happy with DayOne. Dr.Freeman is incredible. She really takes time with you and isn t quick to prescribe unnecessary medications. She asks a lot of questions and explains everything so well. She s genuine, and I trust my health with her entirely. The medical assistants and nurses and receptionists are always super friendly and supportive as well. This office is truly full of professionals. They also have such a good variety of hours and can always work you in quickly for an appointment when needed.

Have had to reschedule my daughter's 18 month appointment 3 times due to getting there and being told the Dr seeing her is not in the office that day. My daughter is now almost 2 months behind on all her vaccines because they can't get her in or because the Dr is never there. So disappointed that this is our only option for a pediatrician because we both work until 5pm and can't leave work early to take her anywhere else.

Not patient-centered at all. Made to see a different person every time, almost never an actual doctor.
When our kid's Medicaid was incorrectly turned off for two months due to a glitch without us knowing, they charged us a huge amount for a check up and wouldn't work with us on a payment plan while we tried to get it resolved at DHHS which is known to be slow. They forced us to pay the huge bill plus added fees by withholding prescription renewals for my wife's diabetes medication.
They put money above our health and the billing person Patty was incredibly rude and showed no empthy for our situation.
Some of the people that work there are good, but they seem to get lost in the shuffle and turn over is really high. My four year old has had three different pediatricians in his short life due to the instability there.
Do not recommend Day one for anyone.

Every doctor, nurse practitioner I've seen has been fantastic. I suffer severe headaches, clusters and migraines and when I call I get right in so I can get a shot to break the cycle. I've never felt like "cattle" an "assembly line" or any of the negative crap stated in previous reviews. It is all in your expectations and what is going on. If there is a flew pandemic going on and they are swamped, well....I have type two diabetes and heart problems and they are right on top of it.

I love Abby, Doc Lovio, and Doc Kinsel, wouldn't go anywhere else!

I ve been going to Day One since 2009 and I love all the staff there, new and old! Dr. Galonsky has been a life saver for me. The PA s, medical assistants, nurses, and the front desk ladies have always taken good care of me too. No real complaints!

I have been going to Dayone since Dr. Galonsky joined it's staff. I have always received great and personal care. They go above and beyond the need of their patients. However they do seem to have a huge turn over of help on the front desk. It makes it very hard to communicate with them at times because you never get to know them well enough to be comfortable talking to them.
