Food and service was great! Will be a must go to every time I visit St. Paul. Parking was tough as it's only street parking. We had no wait. Seated and served immediately. The breakfast burrito is killer!

We had the best breakfast in town here. We love the story behind the cafe and all the artwork on the walls.

Always fabulous and reasonably priced. I think I'm in Minneapolis' West Bank in the 70s when I'm here. And Noah Rolf works here. I've never seen a line.

I visited Day By Day Cafe for an early breakfast. The restaurant is homey, and the breakfast tastes homemade. A solid experience.

I had a great time here. We sat on the patio in back and if the weather is to your liking I highly recommend it. It is shaded with trees, filled with plants and has a Koi pond.

The food was delicious. I d especially like to recommend the French Toast. :-)

Love basically the whole breakfast menu. The special ricotta raspberry pancakes with lemon curd are amazing.

I went here for lunch on a Saturday. The sandwich was great, the service a little rushed, and the price was high.

This is one of my favorite places! I meet friends there once a month,wouldn't go to any other place. The service is wonderful and very friendly!!

My wife and I had breakfast at Day by day and it was fantastic. The special was an egg bake with ham and sausage topped with hollandaise sauce, hash browns and toast. So much to eat! I had the Steak and Eggs with hashbrowns, such a wonderful place. Lattes are delicious.

Fun ambience. Great meals, always. Have indoor or patio seating. It is my go to place for an always great meal. Fun to take people from out of town here because they always love it.

It is a gathering place for all walks of life. A place that invites conversations of old friends, new acquaintances, dreamers, justice fighters, and everyday experiences. The down trodden are lifted, the artist meets their muse, hopeless are given light. A pillar in the community, with excellent food, great service, and a homey atmosphere. A regular go to for many. If new to town, give it a try, you'll often return. See you in a booth some week!!

I love to get breakfast at Day by Day and sit in the room with all the books. They also have a nice outdoor patio for when it's warm.

Good baked goods and coffee and excellent service. Breakfast " special" was a little over priced imho, but I am on a tighter budget than most. Still worth a visit.

Love the Day by Day! Sitting in the room in the back before the sun is up with a warm table light on, drinking a cup of black cup of coffee is a great way to start any day.

Food was good but seating was so great since I'm in a wheelchair and most seating were booths but not a bad experience.

Hidden gem in the city! Beautiful atmosphere, nice quiet time great place for breakfast, lunch or just coffee. Great place for business lunch( would recomend calling ahead make reservations for 10+) huge windows and out back is pond with a fountain a real fish! Highly recommend! A city escape in the city! I love this place. It's filled with character and characters. The wait staff is amazing. We had a party of 12 that arrived over time. The staff was not rattled by people shifting seats as others arrived. Our food came quickly. It was warm and delicious. They did not mind a dozen separate checks. I highly recommend Day by Day.

An amazing place for breakfast, but so much more. This place gives hope to a community and is a real testament to the spirit of St. Paul

Place is quent and quite. Love that back door patio eating area. Uplaoded some pics for you to see. The food was average. French fries kinda plain and get soggy pretty quick.

The breakfast was just okay, but the service was terrible. They weren't busy on this Sunday morning, so there was no excuse! Won't be returning.
