On Oct 3, 2016 we received an email to register for the Sunny Meadows preview to which I responded . I went to the site straight from work to set up my camping grounds as it was my understanding we were to camp out (as it's first come first serve). At the site I noticed a tent set up with some made-up rules and "roll call" hours. I asked what this was about and found out it was a random individual who took it upon themselves to make some list of those who attend. This wasn't done by an employee of Daniels home. This is ridiculous! My mother in law spoke to a Daniels' rep who said they would be honouring this list of names. Does it make sense some random person has decided to camp out on your behalf? Why would I spend countless hours camping out for someone when I have no interest in the matter, unless I was getting something extra out of it? Who is overseeing this process t to ensure those handling the list are being honest of where they put the people, to ensure those who don't show are crossed off, to ensure something extra isn't given on the side to bump that person up in number. Who from Daniel's is staying overnight to ensure this is an honest process? I heard great things about this project but this experience so far has been different. I've talked to several others who had to say the same about the Monday's turn out, 2 who actually disclosed they were offered a guaranteed spot if they made a payment of $1000 to this person who has chosen to camp out to us.... it obviously makes sense of why they are "working" on making this list, especially when they started the Saturday before the roll out of the emails; how did they know to start that wknd rather than the wknd before? I find it really convenient that they picked the right weekend to start the process when it was advised that the rollout will be in the fall/winter. I'm very disappointed in the way this has been conducted.

Dog Owners Beware! Daniels Corporation acts like they're dog friendly but they're not! Even if you're a responsible pet owner and your animal falls within all of the stated guidelines, you may receive a "FINAL" notice stating that your pet has been deemed a nuisance and you have 2 weeks to remove it from the property. Daniels will not provide you with the reason your pet has been deemed a nuisance or the opportunity to resolve whatever the issue might be.

I bought at Wesley tower 2 weeks ago and I had a really fantastic experience. Everyone was extremely accommodating and you could really tell they had my best interests at heart. I never once felt pressured and they answered all my questions with details.. and they still do! My entire experience of purchase is enough for me to always put daniels at the top for deciding on my next home.

Our first time home buying experience has been extremely satisfactory thanks to the The Daniels' Warranty Team. After having taken possession of our unit we have received on time and speedy support on any issues related to small defects or things that have required adjustment. We have felt very supported by their Team through this process. Highly recommend Daniels Corporation and their projects.

I am not sure if Daniels Toronto is the same for Mississauga. However, Daniels Mississauga is awful! They not only lack professionalism but invest in cheap materials and appliances. If you are renting good luck with getting them to care about your repairs on time. If you are a buyer, don t expect quality.
Buyer or renter beware!

Don't buy a Daniels condo. They buy the cheapest elevators, then don't rush to get them fixed. Between us, and our guests, we've been stuck in an elevator for over 3 hours in under 4 months. Of the 3 elevators in our building, at least one has been broken for the last 14 months. A joke.

Sister bought a condo craphome from these guys. They do let you change the interior selection. Floors creaking from day 1, a 2 year old would have done a better job at staining the railings and well you get the idea. They act as though they are the industry finest but they are not. You might see them on CBC marketplace someday due to a recent alteration we had with them. Stay away there are better quality and customer service oriented builders.

I bought At the Wyatt, the team was very helpful in getting all the detail explained for the first buyers. I have visited few past projects and we can see that they do their best to have great finishes. I will definitely recommend them.

Daniels construction has been illegally blocking Queens Quay westbound for the purpose of their construction site and using the very public roadway as theirs. This is a private corporation using the city streets for their staging purposes creating delays and a mud infested project. Shame on you Daniels for being a bad corporate neighbour!

We eventually and gladly moved out from their townhouse last year (Summer 2016) in summer and still they harass us (January 2017) with emails of payments for the garbage that we left behind to be picked up. The day we moved it didn't happen on the same day with the garbage. Not even to mention when we moved into their townhouse they didn't fix all the broken things they promised to fix. HOW CAN SOMEONE " LOVE WHERE YOU LIVE" WHEN THE LIVING CONDITIONS ARE TERRIBLE? They are very expensive too. For sure I don't recommend them to anybody .

This builder should be investigated. Do not buy any condos from this builder. Too many corners cut and skimp on quality. Bare minimum allowed is used for plumbing, (less Cooper = more profit) sooner or later pipes get clogged that can't be dealt with without huge expense of power washing the drains. Cheapest elevators (Thyssen Krupp) which constantly break down and are in need of multiple repairs from when they are new and throughout its life. Just Google the elevators company and read the many lawsuits. Outdated electrical wiring, that the entire (new) building needed to be rewired to meet standard city/Hydro codes. The list goes on. Very disappointing. These builder need a strong message from the regulators. Maybe the Star should be contacted.

We're really happy with our townhouse purchase. The home is a quality build - from the layout and design to how it was constructed, we have been thoroughly impressed. The Daniels staff that we have dealt with have all been knowledgable, responsive, thoughtful, and caring.

We recently bought pre-built townhouse from Daniels in Mississauga as usual we submitted the 30 days form. The company's warranty service/customer care team are amazing especially Joyce, John and Louie. Joyce did great job on PDI that allows us to measure and check all the details (of course prior to the pandemic) and John and Louie that help to repair all the items not only the ones we reported but also some items that were not on the list. Their work finishing is top notch! If any of you have Daniels home need customer care repair ask for John and Louie! They are the best of the best!

Bought a townhouse from them in 2017 right before we got married with my husband, they made the process to simply and easy for 1st time home buyers- capped the closing costs to make it super affordable and transparent for us. Which was amazing because we had never purchased before. Moved in July 2017- did not even need to submit a 30 Day form to Tarion because everything was already completed from our PDI. Our PDI specialist (cant remember his name, was amazing and very thorough). A few weeks ago, noticed we needed to have some items taken care of by warranty as we are selling our first home. Contacted the service department, and was delighted that they were able to get it scheduled so quickly. Thank you so much to our PDI specialist (please find out his name), Antonietta Mancuso in Customer Care, Pavan Shah in service and Warranty manager Pat Leone for making this first experience such a positive one. It is so rare to find a team that is able to coordinate seamlessly within such a large organization, so thank you! When we look to purchase again, we will certainly keep Daniels in mind. They took care of us from start to finish!

Having lived with Daniels Gateway (2.5 years) I re...

Having lived with Daniels Gateway (2.5 years) I recently gave in the notice to move out from the Daniels Gateway. I was told the inspection would happen right away (Feb) 60 days notice period is must- which happened they fined me for flooring which was the way they gave me, my fault was not taking the pictures when I first moved in. Regardless of everything I paid the fine which was approx $500. They send you an email with pdf file with made up prices for carpet cleaning and etc facility which you never sign for when you get into the lease.

Next after leaving the premises I get another bill - for wear and tear of carpet approx $500 again. The property I was in I kept it at good condition, pets were permitted , with special forms inserted in lease.

I believe they are making rules and regulations which are not by city law. I need people to know they don't fix anything on time (complains I personally sent for were the furnace which didn't stop- lead to high bills for 2 years, stove which didn't work properly ever, a/c breakdown in peak time of summer). Change of staff is always happening if you call them be it receptionist or property manager they are rude - they act like as if they are most busy people you can ever find. The 4975 southampton drive premises have dog poop all over the property and no one cares. Most unhygienic zone to live in , dump zone for trash is filthy and no one cares that it smells. Property owners or developers need to look on what the property is going through. Not a recommendation for the issues I have gone through from high end hydro bills to hygiene.

I m extremely happy with my recent townhouse purchase through Daniels, and to be honest a little confused with some of the other reviews on here. Overall my experience has been excellent - with the final product of the unit and also the level of customer service I have received from their staff:

-Development was on time and the registration period (from occupancy to final close) was much shorter than expected
-The sales, warranty staff, and property manager are very helpful, communicative and responsive. I feel like I m being taken care of
-I m happy with the design and aesthetic of my unit, the final product is nicer than I had imagined. Especially of my kitchen
-Materials used seem to be quality and will hopefully hold up with time
-I was shocked with how much natural light I have with this unit, which you cannot say for most other attached townhouses

I have bought few properties down town Toronto and my overall experience is quite good. The price was good, workmanship is good. The decor center staff was highly professional and above all most of the staff are very professional, always eager to help to solve the problem. Only one time the staff could/did not take the responsibility and as a result I end up paying extra fees. Overall I am quite satisfied.

The level of customer service I get from Daniels is incredible. I never expected a "builder" to be this accommodating and helpful. I was shocked to receive suck amazing service not just once but all 6 times where I had different issues/questions. They're always quick to repond and will get the job done.

You'll love your decision.

About Daniels Corporation

The Daniels Corporation is a leading builder and developer in Canada, with a reputation for excellence in the industry. Founded in 1982 by John H. Daniels, the company has grown to become one of the largest and most respected builders in the country.

With a focus on creating vibrant communities that are sustainable, livable, and affordable, The Daniels Corporation has built an impressive portfolio of projects over the years. From high-rise condominiums to townhomes and rental apartments, their developments are designed to meet the needs of a diverse range of residents.

One of The Daniels Corporation's key strengths is its commitment to innovation. They are constantly exploring new technologies and building techniques that can help them create better homes and communities for their customers. For example, they were one of the first developers in Canada to use geothermal heating systems in their buildings.

Another area where The Daniels Corporation excels is sustainability. They have made it a priority to reduce their environmental impact by using energy-efficient materials and designing buildings that minimize waste. In fact, many of their projects have received LEED certification from the Canada Green Building Council.

But perhaps what sets The Daniels Corporation apart from other builders is its dedication to community building. They believe that creating great places to live involves more than just constructing buildings; it requires fostering social connections between residents as well.

To this end, they have developed several programs aimed at bringing people together within their communities. For example, they host regular events such as movie nights and fitness classes for residents at many of their properties.

In addition to these initiatives aimed at fostering community spirit among residents, The Daniels Corporation also supports local charities through its charitable foundation – which has donated millions over the years towards various causes including education initiatives for underprivileged youth.

Overall, if you're looking for a builder or developer who prioritizes innovation, sustainability, and community-building,Daniels corporation should be your top choice. They've proven themselves time-and-again as leaders within this space, and continue pushing boundaries when it comes down into creating vibrant, livable, and affordable spaces throughout Canada. So why not choose them?
