The oldest brick house in Cincinnati. The fee is $5.
If you love history and want to see the oldest standing brick house in Cincinnati, put this place on your list. The house is well constructed, and if you get the tour, they will share with you restoration efforts as well as information about zoning laws. The interesting fact is that the house that is on the north side of it is about 6 inches away from the wall of the Betts house. It is highly unusual to see houses built that closely together without sharing a wall, so it is an interesting twist.
Really great peace of history! Very friendly and helpful staff!!
Wonderful hidden treasure in the West End.
Full of history.
It's rich in history & the tour guides are friendly.
I always thot this house was built older than the others.
Wow. It was interesting to see.
Gave me a spooky vibe.
Great piece of Cincinnati history! Wonderful tour guide. Place is a gem.
This hidden gem tucked away in the Betts-Longworth historic district is a stunning example of early Cincinnati architecture. It's historical significance is clearly apparent from the moment you walk through the door.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. When you visit, take the time to enjoy a stroll down the street. You will be immediately transported back to the 19th century!
Wonderful house museum off the beaten path in Cincinnati!
The Betts House is the oldest brick home in Ohio and Cincinnati's oldest remaining residential structure. It is truly a hidden gem in the city! Based on what I have heard, there is going to be a lot of positive changes in the coming months. This place is definitely going to be a museum to watch in the future.
