Staff don't seem very organised or know what's going on. Ordered online to collect and were left waiting 20 minutes by staff member who did not even pass on to his colleague where we were and our order form. Will just order online for delivery next time.

I don't usually write bad reviews but the customer...

I don't usually write bad reviews but the customer service at PC World has been shocking. First of all we went to buy a MacBook Pro and we waited around in the store for more than 15 minutes making it quite obvious that we wanted to purchase a product. May I add, it was also a Wednesday evening around 7pm so hardly their busiest time!

Anyways we purchased the MacBook and were told to come back the next day to collect after it had been set up. After spending ages on the phone trying to get through to the local store we were informed that the set up would take more than 24 hrs to complete. So I declined to wait this long because I could just do it myself so I said I would come in store to collect.

We went into the store to collect the MacBook and the lady at customer service seemed uninterested. She barely looked us in the eye! She then gave us a box which was opened and said it was our MacBook. DIdn't think much of it . Got it home and opened it up and the MacBook was upside down and had self adhesive gel on the bottom!!! The MacBook was also covered in fingerprints!! It definitely wasn't new!

So we took it back and explained and then the lady found out that the MacBook had a different serial number to the one on the box. At this point we were fed up and wanted a refund.They declined us a refund because they had to 'investigate'. We later found out that an ex display MacBook was put in the wrong box and sold to us! Sloppy service !



But that's not it! They also sold us the wrong Microsoft Office. They gave us the one for WINDOWS and not MAC ! Now we have to go back into the store a 3RD TIME! To get it sorted

If the staff had more care and attention to their job none of this would've happened!

I do not recommend going to this store!

Walked in asked the girl behind the know and how counter do you have null cable, she apologies and points me to two assistant's on the store's floor asked first guy null cable? Suddenly he became a biggest arsehole on the planet that was about 10 to 7 today. I had to ask the guy to calm down. But he ignored it. Never left a bad review for anybody in my life.

The fridge we got is amazing!! The service we got from Jack was impeccable, he is well informed and went through the whole contract in detail he made the purchase process effortless and enjoyable! I will most definitely return to Curry s for more goods we need!

Went to buy a TV. Huge selection. A bit bureaucratic when it came to payment. The Sony guy on hand was a bit of TV savant and was instrumental in narrowing down the choice. Didn't like the upsell on insurance/warranty.

Normally one would be ambushed by a member of staff within 10 steps of walking into the shop. However all staff were busy and I left empty handed as the item I wanted was behind a locked cabinet.

Appalling. My mom bought a tv there last week. A power cable was missing. The guy who came to install the tv (third party) informed us a cable was missing and they ended up using her printer cable. Anyways we go in-store, we ask the customer assistant and she says it's a third party company. So I asked why don't you ring them then?It was a challenge!I ended up leaving extremely dissatisfied with the whole experience!

Absolutely shocking service! I sent my tv off which got repaired, but my stand come back damaged. They offered a replacement which I waited in for on a hot day, but no stand delivered or a courtesy phone call to let us know it wasn t being delivered!
Then I phoned to ask why my stand wasn t delivered, I got passed through to four different departments, as know one had a clue about my stand! At total of 32-minutes on the phone and then the last person I spoke to said he couldn t help me! As you can imagine I was really frustrated, so I phoned back and the next person I spoke to had arranged for me to collect the stand from the store 3-days later. I agreed, as I didn t want to wait in all afternoon without my stand being delivered. So I received a text confirmation to say my stand had been delivered to the store which was 3-days later as expected. So when I arrived to collect my stand from the store, the Team Know How staff didn t have a clue about where the stand was, typical!

We travelled specially to purchase a Braun food processor that we had reserved on line. When we got there after the hour they had recommended it was discovered that despite the fact their system had reserved the item they didn't have any in stock
A member of staff advised that it had either been stolen or given out in error.
Eventually got home and ordered it from Amazon

So many staff but no one serving. Tried to buy a TV and unable to view anything but a basic store graphics on it. Not very helpful. Then when served, they were just interested in offering additional insurance on the purchase

To be honest I don't know what possessed me to eve...

To be honest I don't know what possessed me to even bother going to Currys PC World today. Without fail every time I go I come away empty handed and disappointed. On this occasion I was looking for a very basic cable, the USB type-A to Micro USB type-B. This cable is the stock one for nearly all external hard drives.

After locating the row labelled PC cables and searching for myself I decided to attempt to answer a member of staff. This was of course a mistake as it seems the employees of PC World is to avoid customers, or even making eye contact at any cost. After about 15 minutes of wandering the store trying to engage someone I finally tricked a member of staff into looking at me, and then begrudgingly coming over. This was a shock to me as the colleague was not wearing a uniform but appeared to be in a track suit.

It was at this point I was informed the PC hardware retailer did not stock this basic cable, so I left 20 minutes after arriving empty handed and endlessly frustrated that it took me the better part of half an hour to get someone to come talk to me.

I can only assume it is Currys PC World's corporate policy to keep people in the store as long as possible to give the illusion of a bustling place of trade, by leaving them alone for as long as humanly possible.

Went in to buy a TV, pretty much knew exactly what I wanted, watched for 5 minutes as staff chatted amongst themselves.... Went online (although 4g signal was rubbish) found same model cheaper at richer sounds, its only a couple of hundred yards away so rang them to see if they had it in stock, they did, so they got the money..

Ridiculous system of selling televisions. Boxed TVs are on shop floor but you're not allowed to take them to the tills and pay.you wait for half an hour for an assistant to take your money and then wait at the door for another twenty minutes for someone else to bring your TV, then wait a bit more for him to return it back to stock and bring the correct one.
No wonder more and more people shop online

Miserable experience. It's like going back to the 80s. Stock piled in the aisles and armies of staff standing about talking about their Friday night exploits. They failed in their one value added task of having the actual thing I wanted available to take away with me. Having made a second choice the staff at the till seemed surprised that I didn't want to change my energy supplier or broadband while purchasing a microwave. We've come a long way as a society but apparently retail hasn't realised. Next time I will save myself the drive and wait the 6 hours to have it delivered by Amazon.

Assistants available on each section. Quick response to any questions as they can look it up on their tablet. Item we wanted was brought out from the warehouse and taken by the sales person to the pay desk in good time.
Left waiting for 15 minutes before we could actually pay for it, only one til open and just the one customer in front of us. Nobody nearby able to open up the one other til as its not their job. Ruins what starts of to be a great shopping experience to a **** it let's just go.

Although the Sales rep was great, my biggest complaint has to be the lack of respect from the Management team who think it's ok to keep customers waiting for hours before being served. I was disgusted and will never shopping online at Curry's again as their refund process takes an age!

The whole process has been a joke.

They reluctantly agreed to match the online price.

Getting it delivered and installed was a bigger pain, as the first drivers said there was a gas leak and a CO2 leak. So we're unable to install it.
We got it checked and there was no such leak.

The second delivery the moron was trying to fit the legs whilst the oven was on the back of his lorry, it fell and smashed.
They drove away and left the glass on the road and pavement. So I was left sweeping up the glass so I don't get a puncture as I leave my home.

The store offer little to no help. Bar offering me a replacement oven at the same price they show online.

Not many places to shop for white goods and computers etc, this is one of the main ones, choice of goods is excellent price is varied but with smartphones you can check before you buy, customer service and support is hit and miss so be careful a lot of bull shxt mentioned especially on the IT / computers side you have been warned not all items a up to the minute items, I like to visit see what is available and on offers mostly the offers are discontinued or old stock, but worth a look depends on your budget, the customer repair service have found to be hit and miss but worth a try, give them a go but be aware and do your homework first

I went into currys to buy a chromebook or laptop for my daughter to browse the web, play roblox and a little bit of homework,

I told the guy I didnt need those as for what it would be used for, I would just use a free anti virus and that I dont pay for the subscription office as I use a free version. He then tried to tell me that the free antivirus only checked for viruses and didnt get rid of them which I know for a fact is a lie, he was very persistent and kept trying to sell me the extra software I'd told him i didnt want.



I have previously decided I would not shop at currys again after a bad experience with an oven I bought breaking shortly after purchasing and was never offered a full refund,
I should have never gone there again. I ended up going to john Lewis, the guy there was very helpfull, he looked up the spec needed for roblox showed me a laptop and I bought it there and then and was out of the shop in 10mins.

Wanted to test the Pixel C tablet - it was boot locked and needed a pin
Wanted to test the surface pro 4 - all the pens had be broken

You lost out on sales because of the appalling state of demo items. John Lewis got my sale instead.

Please don't buy from the store , I bought a gopro camera and it has some defects, I went to return the camera to tell them that I have problems with ia and they did not accept the return. I sound very disappointed. I also had proof that it doesn't work and they still didn't want to have a video. And when they saw him, he said that normal horses would get stuck. After I made a short video to show them and was stuck. They have a lot of broken electronics most certainly ie Amazon accepts return without too many questions .

Free parking, nice products, friendly staff. It's a shame this store isn't located in the actual shopping centre, instead it's pretty much on it's own with a Starbucks opposite. With the amount of empty shops everywhere, and this being practically the only proper appliance/pc store in Milton Keynes it should have a better location (the Toys R us building for example)

Had some enquiries regarding my laptop. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Store is massive inside with a lot of variety of each appliance. And relatively cheap. Depending on what you are after. Five stars say it all, I think? Clean, friendly environment.. Nice one curry's pc world..

Loved it! Great customer service from some people. Ricky and Ricky are the best people to go to if you ever need help. Ricky with the gray t shirt on is funny and helpful, Ricky which is part of the management team is on task and helps you straight away! Awesome people!

They don't help you at all... You have to find someone to help you and they don't have proper staff. Once we said them to help us but they said sorry we don't have staff ... Like what the hell it's your responsibility to have proper staff

Great shop in general but could do with more staff. We went in knowing exactly what we wanted, a member of staff "helped us" by ordering the laptop from the stores and spent the rest of the time trying to sell us extra services and insurances. We then had to go to a collection point, with only 2 people ahead of us we didn't think we'd be too much longer, we were wrong! 20 minutes later we reach the counter and hand over our order form given by the salesman, the lady at the desk looked round for the laptop which hadn't made it to the desk yet so had to remind stores staff to bring it to the desk. Eventually it arrived and we got to answer more questions before paying and leaving. In total we were in the store for an hour just to "pop" in and grab a pre-chosen laptop. Far too long in my opinion.

Great shop but worst staff I have ever encountered. The so called technician didn't know what a USB Type C cable was so tried to jam a micro USB into my device and when I told him stop another member of staff told me not to worry as they are a technician. If this guy knew what he was doing then why is he outing the wrong cable in my device?!
