Good price for a TV. But annoyingly had to wait 5 minutes for someone to serve me despite me being able to clearly see most of their entirely child based staff standing around on their phones. Then when I finally got some service the kid who served me was on the hard sell trying to get me to buy the extended warranty. Something tells me they get commission for everyone who signs up for it.

Really poor customer service. Heard two staff having a laugh and swearing repeatedly in the middle of the shop floor.

Update Feb 2019 - this place gets worse and worse. I dont understand why staff are so keen to stand around in a quiet corner chatting and seem so irritated when you ask for help, or for them to do what they presumably are paid to do. Absolutely appalling standards and literally ignorant behaviour from staff on every visit.

No cheaper than anyone else. Same products as everyone else. Staff at Worksop store would rather stand in groups chatting than sort customers needs out. Take a snack they will leave you alone to eat it .

Rude, unhelpful staff. Drove half an hour to get here just to be told I couldn't purchase an item because it was 3:35pm and they close at 4pm? Never heard this rule before and it takes 10 mins max to buy something so they obviously couldn't be bothered and were more concerned about wanting to go home. Definitely need to improve their customer service if they don't want customers to shop elsewhere, looks bad on the company as a whole.

I feel I have to reply to the previous reviews. I had bought a new computer at Meadowhall that was not running correctly. As I had taken out a care plan I took it to Curry's in Worksop. They agreed to look at it for me having ascertained More

Went into store for a tumble drier there was one person serving upstairs so went downstairs and asked for assistance and told he was not qualified to serve upstairs so went back upstairs and the one lady that was serving came to me and said let me get someone from downstairs to sort you and low and behold it was the gentleman who had just told me to wait and then to top it all he told me it would take 10 days to deliver the drier we wanted so went to Argos and got the same drier that day at the exact same price . Guess were I will be shopping in future.

went to buy a lap-top. saw one I liked, discussed it with the sales assistant. he said right I'll go get it. over a hour later he came back and said the only one in the shop was the one on display, and if I wanted it I would have to pay full price, and what's more it needed the drive cleaning and it would take " about two days" and I could pick it up then. So I came home and ordered one from amazon and it was here in less than 48 hours. the staff upstairs on the other hand were in a different class. quick polite and efficient my wife bought a fridge freezer and a kettle toaster combo was dealt with and had delivery dates within twenty minuets so my recommendation is if you want to buy anything from the Worksop store . buy it from upstairs

Great place for your electrical needs, been here few times and staff are friendly. My 2 year old managed to sneak away from me and his mum and hide round behind the tills where the staff then found the funny side of it and laughed. Very friendly.

Items displayed for sale but no stock! Staff not interested. I understand things sell out but if that happens, put an out of stock label on the shelf rather than wasting my time. Not impressed at all.

Lots of staff mulling around doing nothing, we were the ones in the store. Oh and because i can't climb the stairs and the lift is very small, I'm claustrophobic, I couldn't get upstairs. Not sure the need for the upstairs as it was adequate before in my opinion. Personally think the company has made bad decision in this store.

Was charged a 10% re stocking fee to return an item I had taken out the box, but not used?? Not sure if this is policy but never happened in any other branches!! Staff looked uncomfortable after the manager had told them to do it too!

Don't like being lied to by a staff member, i bought a cordless vax on saturday which i was given the money for mothers day off my kids, i did not have chance to charge it till sunday morning but after an hour it said it was charged even though instructions say at least 3 hours, any way clipped battery on and turned machine on but it kept switching itself off, left it a few mins and tried to put back on charge but it still said battery was fully charged, we tried it again but same thing happened, i rang currys and said i was not happy and wanted to bring it back for and exchange or refund, girl asked where i lived as some one could call and have a look at it, i told girl i dont think so its a new machine and i was not having any sort of repair i asked to speak to a manager which she said she would bring to phone, a man answered and i said are you the manager and he replied yes i said of the store again he replied yes, i told him the problem and said i wanted a refund as at this point i was getting proper cheesed off, he told me to bring it back and they would ring vax for a diagnostic to which i said you can see the problem when i bring it, he went on to tell me that i could not have a refund on a brand new FAULTY machine till they got the say so and code off vax, i asked when i come in how long would all this take he said 20 to 30 mins again i was less than impressed, any way i took it back the following day where i asked to speak to the manager along came a chap and said his name, i said i spoke to the store manager yesterday to which he said thats me, i said no the manager was called another name, he told me that this person was not a manager so i flipped my lid and ranted in store that as a company they lie to customers, to be fair the the manager told a member of staff to sort me out and after nearly 30 mins of the staff member trying to get through to vax for a code the manager told him to hang up and give me a refund, after nearly 45 mins i left shop with my money, where i proceeded to argos to buy the same machine and was told any probs to take it straight back to shop for a refund or exchange, happily my new machine works a treat, its not first issue we have had with currys after sales but it will be the last.....Ms Cook
