Fabulous Recruitment Agency. Having been on both sides of Recruitment myself, and knowing there are Agencies outthere that treat Candidates like a meal ticket, it was refreshing to be treated like a person instead of a number. They were very friendly and approachable and understanding and although i'd been struggling to find work for months, within a week of signing up with them, they found me a permanent job with a great company.

I cannot recommend Helen and the Cummins Mellor team highly enough. At a very low time in my life they had my best interests in mind, providing a truly expert and extremely personable approach throughout. I moved to the area after 18 years in my previous employment and town feeling very nervous and I couldn't have been made to feel any more comfortable and relaxed. From the day I left my last job the girls have gone above and beyond to help me and I haven't had a day without work.

Amazing is all I can say about Cummins Mellor. I firstly met the MD Helen at a recruitment event at the beginning of the year and she has so much enthusiasm, passion and knowledge for the industry. she represents the business very well.

I hit a bit of a crossroads in July and contacted Cummins Mellor immediately. Beth and Laura where brilliant, they take the time to ask questions and find out about you and what you want from a role. Beth contacted me almost immediately to offer me temporary work to keep me busy until I found my direction again.

Temporary work helped me to learn more new skills in a different environment, I made more friends, built my confidence back up and felt like part of two teams at once, the Cummins Mellor team and the temporary work team. Beth and Cummins Mellor made me feel like I was part of something again and I can't thank them enough for their professionalism and team spirit.

Went for an interview and then a trial day which they said went well. Rang me the day after asking questions like would you take the job if we offered? Is this salary acceptable? Told me to stop worrying and it was very promising for me. Told I would have answer by the Monday. Monday came and no call. Had to constantly ring through and email to get an answer which was always it looks very promising, they want you to work for them, you re the only person in contention was told to ring back and the same again, no proper answers and a lot of messing around. Finally after a week of chasing up I was told the company is no longer looking to hire AFTER advertising the role on their website and bringing me and I m sure several other people in for an interview. Constant false promises and lies to stop you ringing when they knew the role was never available. Why advertise for a role and get someone in for a trial when they had no intention of hiring in the first place? Extremely unprofessional practice and blatant liars. Feel bad for other people who ll have put others interviews on hold for a job that never existed. Utter shambles.

Brilliant company that actually cares about their employees. Find the right person for the right job. If your not happy just tell them. Brilliant company to work for. Come join the team

As a candidate I was immediately impressed by the thoroughness of their approach in getting to know me, my skills base and competencies. In addition their keen understanding of not only the role that was on offer, but, crucially, the culture of the company recruiting - something many agencies overlook in the rush to fill a place "before manchester gets it".

I was fortunate that the ideal role for me and my future aspirations happened within a week or so of enroling with Caroline, and from the get-go her enthusiasm, drive and backing were crucial in going the extra mile to get on board.

On a personal level, I found the whole team engaging, knowledgable, good humoured and - yes - terrific fun to work with.

The communication right from the application stage through to my placement at CJUK was brilliant, I felt comfortable calling if I had any questions and I always received a phone call after interviews to see how I felt. Not only that but they helped me through the process of handing my notice in at work and made the transition easy for me. Thank you!

I could not be happier with the service I received from the Cummins Mellor team. The consultants, particularly Andrea and Helen, dedicated a lot of time in helping me tidy up my CV, as well as promoting me as a candidate through their various channels. They took on board my skills and the direction I wanted my career to go in, and found an absolutely perfect local fit - and quick too! I'd recommend this lot in a heartbeat :)

This company loves to talk like they are a really good agency but in fact they are one of the worst.

They promise you work but then totally ignore you unless you call them, at which point you get a lot of excuses as to why all the interviews they promised did not happen.

If you do use them take everything they say with a grain of salt. In the time it took them to respond to one Email, I secured 3 job interviews and started a new job.

I can't thank Amy and the rest of the Cummins Mellor team enough! Amy helped me from the very beginning. I am now 2 months into my new job and I get regular emails/calls from Amy checking i'm still loving my job (which i am!). 100% would recommend!

I have recently found a new role with Cummins Mellor and the whole process was fantastic. The staff go above and beyond and I cannot praise them enough for the excellent job they do. The team are all friendly and there is a personal approach to the whole process which is often lacking with recruitment agencies. I would highly recommend to anyone searching for employment.

Probably the worst recruitment agency in the north west. My partner was out of work and they said they would get back to her the next day. She found a job later that week and Cummins and Mellor called back 3 weeks later saying they have found her a job...Bravo.

Stay well away from this recruitment agency. Also, the staff a rude and fail to keep their promises.

Another recruitment agency got back to her the next day with a job. Cummins and Mellor take note.
