Good place to stay for a night. Good hospitality and mostly really tasty good

Lobby is too small..cramped when a group of 5 checks in at a Time! Vehicles can't be parked near the hotel, have to walk 300' to reach hotel from parking.

Booking Experience with Vikas was a nightmare. Dealing with Hany was a disaster. Management really need to pay attention to both staff members. Sales skills are terrible. communication skills are below poor and very hard to understand them. Really wanted to book a room there. Quality of staff in reservations declined my interest.

Great location! Loved every minute here. Convenient and safe. Lots to see and do with a few minutes walk to the city centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable stay. Will definitely be back.

It is okay. I am just not a fan of the glass wall that divides the bathroom from the room.

i booked the room cheaply through agoda, paid 110 per night for a very clean simple room with a small balcony which we didn't use. there is no room service/extras but the staff did help us by booking a taxi.

for the price i paid i was very happy, and it was right in the cbd so we could walk everywhere which was very convenient. i noticed the bathroom was spotless and the sheets were so clean. i think the standard rate for the room is 250+ for a night which i personally wouldn't pay, but for the price i paid i was happy with my experience.

Neat hotel smack-dab in the middle of Melbourne with friendly staff and great rooms.

Location was in an alley but good walking distance to CBD. Rooms are nice, clean and modern.

good location , but down an alley way - wth? also bathroom has an outdoor sliding door- whats going on there? i hit my foot every time i walked into the bathroom.

Great little Melbourne retreat. Convenient to nearly everything north of the Yarra river. Clean rooms, good layout and helpful staff. Parking isn't available and nearby recommendation is unreliable during business hours.

Rooms are very modern and clean and very good value for money

3 out of 4 pillows on the bed had a mouldy smell. I would take off the pillow covers to get it changed but the smell would still remain. The TVs were programmed with limited functions. I wanted to use the HDMI and USB settings and to switch I would have to call reception to come up with a master remote to change. Overall, staff were pleasant.

Awesome apartment, lovely staff (reception staff were super friendly), new facilities, very very clean. Location is central and price is right. Highly recommend!!

Friendly staff, decent amenities, very good location and great price for what you get.

The location is fairly central. Apartment is clean but AC is very noisy. Staff was most unhelpful when we complained. Told us to erar ear ugs! Offensive and rude service.They knew about the noisy AC but never gave a heads up when we checked in.
Will never recommend this place to anyone.

Affordable, high quality, spacious rooms located only 3 minutes walk from melbourne central station. Friendly staff made check in and check out easy. Buffet breakfast was also available.

Clean, tidy and very comfortable. The wifi is fast and free, the showers have good pressure and the air-conditioning cools or heats the room very quickly, which is nice on humid days.

Nearby is the business elite area, only five minutes walk from the nearest supermarket, close to Asian supermarkets, new equipment, even washing machines and dishwashers, bathing products are well-known brands.

Great location on the edge of Chinatown in a quiet Lane, plenty of food options around and the hotel itself is comfortable, clean and definitely a place to come back to.

Quite noisy at night, woke up a few times at night from minor things. Breakfast wasn t as good as described by others. However I guess breakfast is good value if you buy in advance for $10.

My recommendation to management, please try and work on improving sound insulation. Maybe double glaze the front glass windows of the rooms facing the balcony. Perhaps install thicker curtains and other devices that can reduce the sound in the room.

Bed mattress quality quite good. Rooms clean, staff very helpful. Wifi ok. Was given a room upgrade due to low patronage at the time.

Not the first time we stayed in a Fraser Suite. We have stayed at this brand of suites at more than one country and always find the same quality and standards. Not a bad choice if you want location and feeling of home.

Comfortable place and the rooms are spacious. The heater/air-conditioning was very very load. That was my only issue. Apart from that, it was a pleasant stay.

Appalled at the service we received after checking out. An item from our room was removed without our knowledge after housekeeping in which we were led to think it was missing but was in fact not. After calling multiple times to arrange an express post delivery to our residing address for the item, I had to constantly follow up so that it was escalated and actually sent back to us and not forgotten or ignored. After sending an email CLEARLY confirming that I wanted it to be express posted ASAP and after being promised that it would be express posted, I found out that it was put through as a standard delivery which has now taken much longer to be delivered as we are STILL WAITING for the package. I have now had to launch an investigation into the missing item which would have been completely unnecessary had the item been not removed or at the very least express posted. This is not acceptable and definitely not the service we expected.

Clean amenities, professional staff. Breakfast buffet definitely basic, but serves it's purpose well for corporate travellers.

I would say a 3 star place but an extra star for the friendly staff who were trying hard to keep a happy and easy front when things go wrong. I liked that they always acknowledged me and smiled when I entered or left. I felt that my room was kinda clinical, as the bed was facing a bland kitchenette. Lots of funny creaky noises at night but I got used to it by the second night. The heating sounded like a constantly boiling kettle so I turned it off at night and just had a hot shower before bed to keep warm. The TV sometimes just stops for no reason. Good little balcony with nice views. Felt that the amount of tile made the room extra cold though.

One of best places to stay in Melbourne, I had spent 6 weeks during my training in 2015. Will stay again if visited Melbourne. Staff are very cool. Thanks guys.

Family room for 4, comes only with 2 singles or a 1 king! Mislead on booking. They don't even cater for any extra bedding in any fashion, not even a sofa!

This is a pretty terrible hotel. I booked online and chose the hotel because the website stated there is parking included, there isn't. The staff were unhelpful and rude when we asked them about this. Cost an extra $60 for parking. Hung the sign over our door for a room tidy and this was ignored by their cleaning staff. Also internet is so terrible my files were downloading at 20 bytes/s.

Heat was very poor and elevator is very slow, but overall a great hotel.

The room was nice. Some of the receptionist were not really friendly and seemed unhappy to help us.

Noisy surrounds;no view in the lower floors.Indifferent reception staff.Was to be charged $3 for two fried eggs for breakfast .Odd,as the previous day eggs were part of the buffet!

Stayed here back in November and had a pleasant stay. The room was super clean and comfy and the staff were all really nice and helpful. Great location right in the CBD.

Was okay but strange bathroom, where you have to step over a metal frame to get in. I was a bit concerned about my daughter tripping if she went to the bathroom at night. We also discovered that the carpet was wet in the bedroom space, on the other side of the bathroom wall and that there was damage to the skirting boards and wall, suggesting there has been water leaking from the bathroom for a long time. Showed photos to front desk staff but they seemed unconcerned. Pillows were also quite smelly. Location was good for us, for theatre and restaurants but down a dingy alley which was not ideal.

My favourite value-for-money place to stay in Melbourne CBD. Quiet, hidden location within a short walk to Chinatown. Spacious room with nice facilities.

Good place to stay at a good price. Free Wifi included. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Some toiletries provided. Good service. The alley way entrance might put some people off but this is a minor issue in my opinion. Staff are very professional and polite. Rooms have little kitchenette, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Very convenient.

Me and my friends were extremely disappointed
We booked multiple rooms, but decided to plan our night together in the one room. We received a call saying that we were exceeding the amount of people and would be charged extra, even though we explained that we all had separate rooms and were only planning our night, so we had to go back to our separate rooms and message each other. The beds were so small and very uncomfortable, and my friends room was a black spot and could not get phone reception from Telstra or Vodaphone.

Nice place to stay and friendly, helpful staff, it was a great experience despite the one downside of not having a view in the room i stayed in as there is a balcony but its opposite another building directly infront of you blocking the whole veiw.

Rooms are good but the hotel itself is a bit cramped for lack of space. It's clean and very friendly staff. Fully equipped rooms. Good location.

I had the pleasure of staying at Fraser Place Melbourne for 5 nights during my stay in Melboure. The room was spacious, light and airy. I stayed in one of their studio appartment and it was kitted out very well with everything you may need. It was in an excellent location, very close to public transport and wonderful resturants. The service was top notch.
My only criticisms would be the aircon is very noisy and another minor thing there was only one bedside lamp.
