Very nice beer. Good atmosphere, almost like pubs ...

Always a nice place to enjoy an afternoon beer with misses
Friendly pub with outdoor seating and heated huts with the best nachos and burgers
Lucky to have this place within walking distance of my house. Good beer and beer snack selection. Dog-friendly and stylish 'huts' in the garden. Recommended and looking forward to going back when - if - the pubs reopen.
Unfriendly staff member spoiled our evening. He rudely told people waiting for food to arrive that they had to be out in less than half an hour because they had children with them, saying that the licence for the Pig & Whistle did not allow children after 8pm.
Wonderful Sunday lunch! No fish and chips on Sundays but they have a variety of selections! Baby friendly, there were several babies with their family.
Under the circumstances at the moment, it was very good, food and service were excellent, will definitely visit again, hopefully in happier normal times
A great little pub. Good food and great atmosphere. Cool garden in the back with private spaces if it gets too busy!
Good atmosphere, friendly local and very good food for a fair price.
Tables get reserved a lot so you have to stand up when seats are free. Good beer but expensive. Ok if you haven't got time to go somewhere better
Cosy local with reliably good food and Youngs on tap. Not the nicest road to be sited on but worth a short walk from Earlsfield train station. Attracts a mixed crowd and has a small outdoor area round the back. Recent addition: chilli sauce cabinet! Great idea.
Fast and kind service, quality gin, tasty fries. :)
Great food, very friendly service, thanks we'll be back
Not a friendly pub unless you are a local and look the part. Asked for a whiskey was offered a jack daniels. Asked for a gordons dont sell it. Weirdly they sold fosters. We went to meet family, bought a large round almost 50 quid. Whilst still ordering my son which was with family was told he would have to leave at 8pm he was on coke. They told him not us.This was my local years ago may have looked tatty but lovely atmosphere. Moved on to a much nicer pub. Better selection of whiskey! And not a tosser in sight.
Beautiful pub with helpful staff, nice to have some pints after work.
Great local pub with a South African atmosphere. Friendly bar staff. Can be on the expensive side for a pub.
Excellent local pub with good selection of beers, just what the doctor ordered !
The swathes of reserved tables at 7-ish effectively turns the place over to a younger, more raucous clientele, more All Bar One than neighbourhood pub.
This is a lovely, cosy pub which has lots of pig related decor! The beer garden is great and has small booths for groups. Nice place to go for a drink - I haven t eaten there but would do!
Nice interior to drink in. Occasionally an odd atmosphere as in, a bit hostile rather than friendly.
The most child unfriendly pub I have been to. Terrible attitude and rude staff. We came as a large group of adults and kids (NCT crowd) and precooked the outside area, highlighting we had lots of young children with us. After we had arrived and ordered the kids food, they said their policy is that kids have to sit down the whole duration. How you are supposed to enforce that with kids aged between 18mths and 4. Had they warned us, we wouldn t have booked. If you are not child friendly, don t have a kids menu. Kids food is not great and how they can serve and charge so much for Peppa Pig pasta is completely lazy. We didn t order adults food and promptly left. Much better child friendly pubs in the area
Wonderful place with amazing food.
Also the first pub visit since lockdown and felt completely safe!! Well done Pig and Whistle.
Friendly local pub with great craft beer selection and tasty food.
Friendly place, but Sunday lunch time better to stay away ........
Lovely pub. Good food. Friendly staff. And a great atmosphere. Also shows football.
Name name name. . . Grilled lentil burger delicious
Great food great atmosphere great friendly staff great place
Used to be one of the best pubs in the area, hope Covid 19 didn t destroy it. Stay strong guys!
Pub with summer patio, ideal for eating fish & chip's tasting some of the best English and Irish beers, excellent service and attention. Also if they like to pass the Premier League and Rugby matches, friends can be challenged to throw in the center with darts.
Lovely quaint South African owned English pub. All the British vibe with an SA twist. Great atmosphere during Rugby matches.
Great local pub with a decent beer and ale selection. Food is good too.
Lovely, cosy pub with a fireplace, TVs and a dining area.
Friendly service. Nice atmosphere. A good selection of beer and wine. All in all a well run pub.
This is a good pub. In particular they have a cabinet full of hot sauce which is excellent. They also seem to stay open forever which is also good. Plenty of seating. The food is good, no complaints. The have plenty of events/evenings going on.
Loo s are clean
Also as a parent, it s nice to see this is a pub for grownups. With my kids I go elsewhere, when it s with a mate I go here.
Also they serve black samuca, 1*. But only for the person who buys it.
Sorry have never visited this pub. This is a mistake
Friendly and a great selection of beers for a released evening
Good food, excellent value for money. Nice ambience.
Really nice staff, great environment. We enjoyed the steak and the pie. The t-bone steak is a really good deal on a Tuesday. The steak and Guinness pie was really tasty and huge, but we could have done with a bit more gravy. Will be back
Very good Sunday roast, nice venue and lovely staff
Local boozer. Been a bit hit and miss over the last 20 years. Much improved in the last 5 or so. Food greatly improved as is the beer selection.
Love this pub. Cool booth section outside with heaters. Dart board and good food
Horrific service from the lady behind the bar who mouthed "die" at someone on our table.
I enjoyed the vibe and the beer here. A regular pub where you get a drink after work or a long day.
Great place to pop in for a pint with your mates, selection of beers on tap was not incredibly diverse but still had some of my favourites
Good food n service. 10/10, highly satisfied and will be back.
Lovely little pub, great burgers (and they take Tastecard!). They have a projector screen for sport, but get there early. Plus it's dog friendly!
Great local pub with some great food. I highly recommend T-Bone Tuesdays, but you need to reserve a table and tell them you will be having steak.
Cute garden! Recently updated interior but doesn't feel soulless and chain-y. Friendly staff. Will return!
Great place and more diverse than your average pub with a lot of nice cozy "rooms" in the small outdoor section. They sell South African beer which is great. Food is good quality and timely. Also not massively oily like your normal pub. A good number of TVs so great for sport. Lots of smiles and good service too
Great local pub. Very warm welcome to pets. Sometimes too welcome to children and pushchairs... it is still a pub after all. Good menu reliably delivered.
