We held my son's wedding rehearsal dinner in the Lincoln Room. It was a very clean and welcoming set up. The food was delicious. The service and staff were exceptional.
Clean, nice decor... I however wouldn't recommend the breakfast.
I returned to my room after a hard day of playing wheelchair basketball to find all my drawers open including the refrigerator and my beverages were gone. All the linens were piled up in the corner on the chair. House keeping thought I was a check out so they cleaned all my stuff out of the room. I eneded up getting most of my things back and was offered a voucher for their bistro (not very good)I left so they could get my room together. To cool off about the situation I left and got dinner. Upon return I noticed that my door hadn't been shut all the way. When I went in all that had been done is the bed had been made up. All the drawers were open including the refrigerator. I called the front desk to enquire about my bistro voucher and the lady at the front desk was rude and told me that my voucher was only for breakfast and she called the manager after I asked her to and he said I could use $20 at anytime. This has been one of the WORST hotel experiences I've ever had and because of it I probably won't be coming to this tournament next year if this is the hotel I'm expected to us. As a person with a disability I wouldve though the hotel wouldve done a better job than this.
It was food hair dirt all over the bathroom and hallway tile floor carpet was filthy also u can tell they did not mop sweep or vacuum in here black stains all over sink n tables oh n to top it off we found a bag of crystal meth on our light fixture !
A very nice clean place, with staff that was kind and curtious.
Hotel is a very nice place to sleep. I do not recommend spending $20 on eggs, cold hash browns and cold turkey sausage. I brought it to the attention of the Bar manager Billy and his response was "I'm sorry.... Not how can I fix it, can I heat it up nothing. I saylt at my table with my plate off to the side and he walked by me 3 times never once trying to take my plate or ask what he can do. I then complained to tbe front desk and was told I will discuss with my manager. Came back in and was told we will remove it from my bill. I at that point said Thank you. I landed after my flight and got my invoice for my room and still the charge on the bill. I then had a chat conversation, they again stated will speak to a manager and get it resolved. Still nothing back from anyone.
So hotel is very nice, breakfast definitely not with the $20.00. Yelp plenty of very good breakfasts at half the cost nearby.
Very clean rooms, friendly staff, and very nicely distanced from downtown Philly and Germantown
.My room was very clean with nifty little add ons like a refrigerator and multiple power outlets to plug in cell phones and devices. A nice comfortable bed and smartly designed bathroom. The lobby is clean and beautiful and the restaurant offers many meal options. I m definitely going to stay again.
This place is fantastic. Awesome staff, modern rooms, everything is clean. My only small complaint is the breakfast buffet being $16, but my crew just eats elsewhere.
At the Courtyard next to Bala for a career fair. The fair itself was incredibly small and the positions available at the companies attending were not listed. Very disappointed but this was not the Courtyard's fault. The hallway decor was tasteful and clean, along with the room the event took place in. I would use the Courtyard as an actual hotel no problem.
This place has had many different names at the same location. This is by far the best decor and service
The inconvenience this hotel has caused me by giving my debit card to the wrong person has made this holiday season a disaster. Looking back 2 comped drinks and a ride down the block was not even close to a fair trade.
Compare Hillton and Marriott.
I think Marriott is somehow better generally .
I like this hotel. Little far from Phily but lactation is safty .
I feel comfortable to stay there . Front desk was good. Bedroom was good.
Excellent beautiful hotel located on city Avenue. Great place to stay with a parking lot in the city
Although the staff was for the most part very friendly, convenience isn't a strong point in this hotel. Upon arrival the room was clean but didn't have a microwave so you had to go back downstairs to warm your food. The bathroom seat is ridiculously too low. We arrived late, and to their credit they replaced it, but the tea/coffee machine in our room wasn't working. Another inconvenience. We slept late & left our room the following day in the afternoon & upon our return that evening the room wasn't cleaned. We notified the staff & were told the cleaning staff left for the day. They gave us towels but that was annoying. At checkout I was asked about my stay so I mentioned the room not being cleaned again, the woman at the counter apologized but didn't offer anything to compensate for the inconvenience. This hotel is located well to most activities, friendly clean & neat in appearance, expensive on treats & food items but has good parking. Not bad but not great either certainly not what I expected or hoped for on our first visit there. Every hotel could have an off day so all & all I'd say it's half & half for this visit.
I booked online and got a total price for the room when I got to the hotel they added a extra fee on my card when I'm I'm supposed to pay what I booked for nothing extra
Nice staff, and very convenient location for a traveler. You are right next to food and Target.
Well, the hotel entrance isn't that bad. It is the upkeep that makes the hotel unenjoyable. My hotel room had lipstick stain on the sheet comforter as well as the tub had rust in it and paint chipping in addition. Some trash was left in the room from the guest(s) before. In the halls, there was always trash bags and cleaning carts out. Lastly, customer service was painfully slow, as it took at least 30-45 minutes for them to bring towels and it took the three calls for them to bring the cleaning crew to clean a part of the bathroom they missed. Hope this gets resolved in the future!
Working with Laura and the rest of the staff for our wedding guests last month was a breeze. Laura checked in often leading up to our guest booking cut-off date, and then again just before our wedding weekend. Even though my wife and I didn t stay at the hotel, a handful of our family members and guests did and they spoke very highly of the rooms and the service. The hotel was incredibly convenient to our Manayunk wedding--especially with their Main St. Manayunk shuttle that we were able to book to bring some of our family directly to the wedding. I highly recommend booking a block a rooms with the City Ave. Marriott for your wedding or other event.
Nice hotel if you ask me. Rooms aren't the biggest but clean and not outdated. They had a nice gym for a hotel compared to some of the ones I've been to. Pretty sure they had a pool also.
I really enjoyed my stay here from beginning to end. Check in was a breeze especially since I am a reward member. As soon as I arrived to my room the front desk called to see if I was pleased with it and offered any assistance if I should need it. Our room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I think the hotel is in a good location with access to the major highways and a TGI Fridays and a Target right next door. Awesome stay!!
It is incredible what marriott did with this site. It's wonderfully fixed up. I hope that they can keep it nice. I would have rated it 5 stars if food selection would have been better.
Used to always stay at this location when it was the Crowne Plaza. The Crowne Plaza loss its luster and started staying at the Hilton. Decided to give the Marriott a try after hearing about the remodel and I'm glad I did. The hotel is very nice. The rooms are amazing and the decor in the hotel is nice as well. Loved the bistro, the pool and gym. The personnel that work there were very helpful. My only gripe os that there is no free breakfast.
The staff was great. They were very helpful. Every thing seemed clean until I got to my bed and the sheets and not been changed (the bed seemed to have just been remade with used sheets and cases). The duvet was dirty and when I asked for a new one, they didn't have any and brought me a blanket. The bathroom seemed to be missing a few items, but seemed tidy overall.
Very nice room. Housekeeping staff was quick and efficient.
Good location, I stayed here while visiting Drexel Medical school and this was a quick drive from the hotel. Nice rooms, could watch Netflix on the TV I. The room.
Excellent gym and friendly service.
Geraldine was very happy to help!
Great location if you're visiting Philly. Good options for food and shopping too.
But we will probably not stay here again because of the dirty room. Shower curtain liner had mold growing. Sink had mold in the hole. Dust and hair everywhere, dirty carpet and bathroom floor. For the price paid, there are better options within the vicinity. Manager should inspect the rooms periodically.
Home run finding this place. Breakfast buffet was awesome.
Polite and friendly service. Felt comfortable during this COVID-19 reality.
Went to a job fair. Didn't stay in the hotel but it looked nice on the inside. The job fair wasn't very good.
Great! Clean, modern, accommodating and friendly staff. The breakfast is overpriced; $16 for what is essentially a continental style breakfast, without the waffles. Go somewhere else for breakfast! Other than that, no complaints!
Terrible place to stay. The "free" WiFi is capped at 2mbs which is painfully, unusably slow, and they charge $6.95 a day for only 8mbs "upgrade".
I slept like a baby...Great room, queen bed, pool, and gym...!!!...Great Pleasure John..!!!
Location is out of the city with a few restaurants and shopping spaces within walking distance. The bistro down stairs is more expensive than I wanted to pay and didn't offer many options for non meat eaters. The rooms were nice and very comfortable with a cozy layout. There is a 24/7 gym and a pool that's open until 10pm. All around a nice place to stay
Even though I was there less than 24 hours. I slept like a newborn. The bed was so comfortable and I absolutely loved the shower.
Excellent hotel. Nice room. Friendly and helpful staff. Beds were amazingly comfortable.
The hotel is a modern hotel that is very well maintained and very clean. The hotel provides a pool as well as a fitness center. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The room I was in (king size bed) included a smart TV. The breakfast buffet is not free. The staff are courteous and professional. The location is convenient for travel, with a bus stop right outside and easy access to 2 highways.
Beautifully kept. Beds are so comfortable. Minutes away from downtown philly..
My reservation was messed up . When I asked to speak to a manager I was given the run around they are not here at the moment . I will have them call your room when they become available . The customer service was very poor. I did speak to someone and the issue was not resolved.
Bed sheets has pink spots, and bathroom is dirty. Hairs on the floor.
Brought a beautiful soft leather jacket at Pollack Furs
Room is clean, staff is nice. Though not centrally located, the bus stop across the way makes it easy to get from the hotel to center city.
Great experience for the event I attend every Sunday at the Marriott. Thank you for the opportunity for having us.
Very nice hotel and the front desk is very helpful but it was expensive
Stopped in for a drink and a bite to eat with a friend. The Wednesday before Thanksgiving is a busy travel period and the Marriott was no exception. I want to point out how courteous and friendly the staff were, especially the young woman at the front desk.
Standard place comfortable few restaurants in walking distance are good asset. Central location is good for work. Is liable to be booked on peak days. Tad pricey with no free breakfast but otherwise a nice place
Excellent place to stay! You can shop and eat in walking distance! Very convenient and safe atmosphere!
Overall the experience was nice. The hotel is nice and is located near a bunch of good places to eat as well.
Good service! I wish there was a continental breakfast.
There's not much to say about this location other than it's what you've come to expect from Courtyards. The rooms are nice, the amenities are nice, geared towards business travelers. The pool and gym weren't crowded and were good quality. The Bistro wasn't the best food ever, though it's nice to have the option.
All the food was delicious! Great conference venue and wonderful staff.
Our short stay of two nights was really nice. The Courtyard is nice, clean and quiet. Will recommend a stay at the hotel to my friends and colleagues. Question though, why did we have to pay for parking on the premises?
I enjoyed how clean it was and how professional most of the staff was. My experience with the staff was brief but pleasant since I was there fora meeting in one of the ballrooms.
Expensive but mediocre. Only eat here if it's a long day and you're really tired. Wait staff is really great though.
It was solid in the case of room and placement but housekeeping was useless didn't even peek in my room, give towels,ex.
Rooms are clean and comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains and city.
