If you go to Crowne Plaza for no other reason, go for the super-friendly, professional staff. They had my package waiting for me when I arrived, held my bags while I attended my function and helped me navigate the trains to my next destination. My room was a little dated, but clean and comfy. I'd definitely stay here again.

Check in was fairly smooth. Booked for a standard queen. Got up to our room to find two double beds. Called front desk. Told there was no other availability. Checked my booking, called back to ask why we weren t in the standard queen as booked and was told I d have to come down and prove we booked a queen room. As standard indicates anything they have available. I won t stay here again as we have to be here an entire week and sleep in a different bed than my husband. Yay

Nice, clean, quiet. Pleasant overnight stay, located close to the city and the airport. They charge for parking and breakfast, but with a coffee maker and fridge in the room it wasn't an issue for us. We'd stay again, especially if flying.

Nothing to fault at this airport hotel! Everything seems to be slightly better than expected, from staff service attitude to amenities to proximity to the airport and quite importantly, a charming city of Burlingame with numerous shops and eateries within a short drive or medium stroll from the hotel.

We got stuck in SFO for the night, and we're put up at the Crowne. They did a great job accommodating us beyond what the airline wanted. I rate 4 stars as the office chair was broken, giving debris that was a choking hazard for toddler and the bathtub was not working. Shower still functioned.

Summary: We needed a place to stay near the airport for one night and chose Crowne based on price. Next time we'll pay a bit more to stay somewhere with better service.

Pros: Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, price was at least $75 cheaper than anywhere else near SFO for the night.

Cons: Service was slow - it took three trips to the front desk to get our keycards to work and that includes being given access to someone else's room. The room had stains on the carpet, which gave it an unclean vibe, but it overlooked a couple overflowing garbage bins, so at least it had that going for it. The restaurant service was equally poor, with the food being standard diner quality, and having to wait twenty minutes to order in a mostly empty room.

Don't stay here. The staff are not knowledgeable they gave misinformation on the vending machines. The wifi kept dropping. No free breakfast of any kind. The bed was really 2 twins pushed together to appear as one. Whoa! I as a visitor to a friend at the Crowne got my friend assessed a $50 pet fee because I had a 2..lb dog. Say what? Oh no don't stay in this oz of a wonderland.

They will hold a party from time to time, but the room is very poorly soundproof. It is completely impossible to sleep. Please deal with the hotel. He said that we can only ask us to change rooms. If you want to take a rest, don't book this room.

Staying here for a conference. Friendly staff who served us breakfast, lunch and dinner. Basic amenities are there but lacks a microwave and a water boiler. The only way to get hot water is through the coffee maker or get it from the restuarant. If you want to heat up a snack, you'll have to use the ONLY ONE microwave available next to the front desk. Also, I discovered that only the "deluxe" rooms, floor 8 to 10, provide guests with slippers. The concierge informed me the it would be $20 if I wanted a pair. Sheets are cleans and a variety of soft and firm to choose from.

Clean, conventional hotel with convenient (free) shuttle to SFO that runs every 15 minutes. Rooms and facilities are generally unremarkable: plenty of power outlets in the rooms, plus in-room (Keurig) coffee and mini-fridge. Shuttle runs every 15 minutes from 4:00am to midnight (with on-call airport pickup between midnight and 4) - go to "Hotel Shuttles" zone at arrivals level of any terminal; same shuttle also services the DoubleTree which is nearby.

The hotel has a nice restaurant/bar - burger was good quality (but pricey at $18). Restaurant and room service do not open until 6am, so no option there for travelers with early flights.

Some clues date this building a bit. Room lights have 3-way lighting fixtures with only 1-way bulbs (two clicks to turn on!); elevators look to be early 1970's vintage. Everything else is updated; HVAC controls work well and unit HVAC is reasonably quiet and comfortable

Friendly staff, clean room and very comfortable bed. The pillows were so good I didn't need my personal ones. We needed a room for at least a week as family members were recuperating from exchange kidney transplant surgery and I was made very comfortable.

Their STAFF was very RUDE. Very untrained for facing customers. I called front desk to ask why i was double-billed and the staff at the reception kept telling me that she cannot help me. She said though that she can provide a printed bill of my stay and i asked to have it sent up to my room as I explained that I am already in my nightshirt. She sternly said, "No, we don't do that you have to come down if you want a copy of your bill". This is outrageous because any good hotel staff would do that. But not this one. I politely asked for her manager and she said that she will ask him to call me and then hung up. Very rude. So I went down to reception and asked for the manager. I told the manager, his name Norman, that I think I was double-billed and it should be looked into. He said that the hotel does not double bill and the matter has to be taken up with my bank. Then I told him that his staff was rude to me. He did not apologize, he just said that "he will talk to her". I brought it up again because he seemed to have missed my point. He said, "I did say I'd talk to her, didn't I?". No wonder the staff was rude the manager is rude as well.

THE ROOMS ARE OLD AND MUSTY. The rooms are old. Although our room is clean, the musty smell does not seem to go away. It certainly does not have the feels of a 4-star hotel. Very deceptive as I got a motel-quality room for the price I paid. If you want a quality stay, please go somewhere else. This place is not worth your time.

Really nice hotel. It is an easy walk from a Caltrain Station via a Pedestrian Over Crossing to cross Hwy 101. Although it is near Hwy 101 and near San Francisco International Airport, it was not impacted by the noise from either. It seemed the rooms were well insulated from the noise outside. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hend Riza, manager on Sun., Jan. 7th 2018, denied me my room because she claimed I was being rude. She accused me of trying to take her picture with my smartphone and even called the Burlingame Police when she was the one being unfriendly. On top of that, she wasn't wearing a name tag. In the end, I was denied my room because she made a false claim to the police. CP really needs to investigate; there's no excuse for this kind of behavior.

The shower temperature adjustment was a little confusing as others wrote
However, if you put the lever on the water side instead of the hot water side, hot water will come out.
That is also a fun memory
I was able to enjoy the many airplanes landing at the San Francisco International Airport together with the night view.

The only thing I want to say is that it was a room next to the elevator, so the sound of the old elevator was too loud to sleep.

Great place if you re going to the airport. Rooms were nice and clean, lots of amenities in the hotel, staff was friendly and helped me with the airport shuttle schedule - and it has an indoor pool! You have kids? This is a MUST!

Good covid-19 procedure, good clean room with very nice condiments and a shower that isn't weak, small, or clogs. Got an executive 10th flood and was pleased with the view. I'd had much worse experiences at higher prices, so for this place to be reasonably cheap is amazing.

The first room we where given the bed had not been changed the covers just pulled over the second room the bedspread had bodily fluids on it not nice to say the least the third room smelted of stale air and mildew,so back down to reception to cancel our stay only to be met with a very unhelpful manager she was very rude refused to give her name the only person to help me was a nice lady at customer services on the phone I have used Ihg hotels for twenty years and never have been so disappointed with the treatment that I received from the manager and the state of this hotel, more like a highway motel that rent rooms by the hour!

Only attended a conference here, didn't stay at the rooms. From the lobby and conference center the place feels run down and in need of a remodeling. Food service was OK. Staff running the conference seemed to be having trouble sorting out things like parking passes for the speakers (I was there as a speaker) and had to push the hotel to provide passes they'd already requested. Not sure I'd recommend staying there based on impressions from the conference.
