Being a business traveler I get to see a lot of hotels, and this one by far was the worst I have stayed at. The lobby area had very dim lighting and did not appear inviting at all. Once I stepped off the elevator to my floor I could see old More

Beautiful loved the stay. So close the water. If your a fisherman bring a rod. Staff is great, valet parking is cheap, gym has all you need. Room views of the water excellent. Eat at the royal donut for breakfast just down the road on Broadway. Great little liquor store across from the royal donut. I love the crowne plaza. Cant wait to be back and fish.

Great service and very quiet and clean rooms. The additional amenities like gym and pool aren't special (nothing to brag about) but they were exactly what I expected. Check in was smooth and my stay was great.

I spent 3 nights in this hotel. The room was very clean and the hotel staff was very nice. But I think you get the best picture of a place once there is an issue. I had a problem (that I don't want to specify further) and the hotel management handled it in a very professional way. Thanks a lot!

Location is great. Park on the right and body of water for nearby for a nice walk. We had the deluxe King room and it had a nice view but the room itself was tiny. Amenities were nice with toiletries, small fridge, slippers, and robe. A big negative is the $24 per night parking fee.

It still has kind of an old hotel feel to it. The rooms (even on executive level) are pretty small. Beds are fine and water pressure is decent. Staff is okay. This hotel is about a 20 minute ride to San Francisco, if there's no traffic. There is a restaurant in the hotel and a small market to buy snacks.

Update:- Couple days ago I noted my negative experience at Crown Plaza here & also emailed IHG. To my surprise IHG emailed me back ( available upon request) that they forward my concerns to Crown Plaza & was expecting the management at Crown plaza to connect with me.
Yet when I encountered a problem at Crown plaza , Kate the manager ( appears she s not , FICKLE Norman is) told me very rudely that she couldn t help me. That I was to contact IHG directly since I made my booking thru them . No one is accountable , they deflect at the expense of the guests. Kate was rude beyond words, she was like ice cold water on your face while you sleep! ( unless you like that )

Good hotel for the money....the best value I could find for the airport area. Long term parking onsite but best price is available through Spot Hero parking app.

Airport shuttle is also available on regular schedule for no extra charge.

Rooms are cozy but clean and have everything you need (except a microwave if you happen to need that). There was fancy calming creams for your face and legs that was awesome. The restaurant is pretty good though overpriced (maybe bc it's San Francisco?) and the staff was nice. Note no continental breakfast so don't plan on one. They have newer Beauty Rest mattresses that are comfy. I'd stay there again!

Conveniently located, short hop from the airport. Shuttle service is really good.

Room was small but sufficient for a 1 night stay. Starbucks coffee in the room.

Designated running routes from the hotel are marked and maps can be downloaded offline for the enthusiast.

Stayed on the 7th floor smelled like a decaying body right when elevator doors opened. Food try was left near my room all night and the next morning. The smell was unbearable in the hall.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza on our way home after a month in Canada. We took the opportunity to visit Pebble Beach and Carmel. The hotel was perfect for our short stay. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. The staff were very friendly. The location is great - just a short shuttle ride to the airport. The only negative was the cost - but all hotels in and around San Francisco seemed to be very expensive when we booked.

It is a good hotel for the Price. The noise from the highway is pretty bad. The higher you go the noisier it gets. I probably will go for a different hotel even if it is slightly more expensive.

I stayed from Jan 20th-22nd 2017 The room was very clean and enjoyable!! The hotel had a pool that was a little in the chilly side but the hot tub was amazing so bring your swim trunks, great after a long flight from Ohio! I did not know about the parking charge until I checked in, it was $20/day, they lowered it to $10/day, thank you managment! There is also not a continental breakfast, they have a buffet that starts at $15. The best feature is the airport shuttle that runs on the half hour from 6am-12am, very convenient!! Would definitely stay again!

Nice hotel. Lobby and meeting areas are clean and updated. Room is not huge but is nice and tidy. Has everything I need. Fabulous location on the bay near the airport. Easy access to a trail on the water. Great service from every employee I've interacted with. Rates were a little high for the amenities, but it is San Francisco. I'll book again next time I'm in town for work.

The room was overpriced in my opinion and they charged us for the continental breakfast. Nothing was an "amenity" at this "posh" place.

The room looked like it had hosted way too many parties. There was a cigarette burn in the carpet. The staff at the front, namely a gentleman by the name of William were discourteous.

Do not stay here!

We booked through a third-party website to reserve the room. When we got there we were told since the hotel had sold out and we had only reserve the room not fully paid for the room that our rate was increasing to the standard rate which was about $100 more per night. The Executive Suite with the king size bed was very nice, they provided bottles of water and snacks which were refilled daily. The hot water took forever to warm up, the windows outside were covered in spider webs and the doorway between our two rooms was dirty as well. The bed sheets were super soft and appeared to be clean as did the bathroom. We wanted to check out one night early but when we ask the hotel if this was possible they told us no. I called the corporate headquarters and they were able to solve the problem and allow for an early check out. I would not stay here again; they didn't have complimentary breakfasts even for people staying in the executive suites. They did have a breakfast buffet if you wanted to pay for it; not all the food was good.

Its an older hotel. Decent price for weekend stays and minutes away for airport and downtown Sacramento. I got the parking and breakfast rate. Breakfast buffet is not bad. Breakfast coupon worth $20 parking is $20 a night. Has enclosed pool that i did not use. After hours 11pm-7am bell services are practically non existent. I asked for a complimentary comb which took three phone calls and 1hr to get. Obviously it was a change of shift when i called but still. Definitely a place to stay the night. Nothing really around the hotel area to do(within walking distance).

This is clearly an old construction, it's been a while since a last seen a hotel with room doors made of wood. The rooms are OK, nothing special, no mini fridge, no free breakfast, close to the airport and downtown Burlingame.

The room was reasonably priced (guessing just because it was the weekend). Yes, the furniture was a little old, but not bad. The bed was comfortable, the a/c worked, the bathroom was clean.
I ate dinner at the bar. Service was good. The food was horribly overpriced. $18 for a Cuban sandwich that was sub par at best. Beers were $10 each. I had two. Those and my sandwich brought my bill to $41 (with tax). Not even close to being worth the price.
Forget about getting anything from the gift shop. You can't afford it.....you can't.

I had a reservation on 1/26/19 made by my company. We were a group of 3 each checking in individually. Apparently when 1 person in the party checked in with the front desk agent, (a female in her late thirties, attractive persian or mid eastern) she asked about the other two person in the party. The first guest did not know my whereabouts. I'm not sure as to why the agent was questioning this, simply check in each guest as they arrive. This agent had asked a new young employe, fir my whereabouts? Thiis s not her business. I arrived about 30min after to only be told that I did not have a room, embarrassing me infront of my colleagues and stating that I did not have a reservation. Once I called my company support infront of her, she walked behind the scenes to re appear with I assume was her manager to say that she had my room.
