Crown Melbourne Limited Review

WOW. The Lotus parked in the carpark was the first thing that caught my attention and from that point on I had to remind myself to blink. 2 days later my neck is still saw from looking up, down, round... everything is beautiful, decedent and has style. The place is huge! The names of the stores were like reading through a who's who of fashion and design.. Rolex, Louis Vuitton, Van Bercken. My only complaint was the lack of a normal everyday souvenir shop. Sent on a wild goose chase by no less that 6 different staff in different roles. Nowhere could I find a place to buy a souvenir $5 casino chip or a deck of cards.

Stayed here for a month and was worth staying here.

Great dealers very efficient. They all know what they're doing and are proficient in what they do. Location is accessible by public transport easily. Presentation and customer service was great.

Outstanding hotel and everything!!!! Spent a lovely night with my gal, the room had a spectacular view of the Yarra river and one bottle of champagne for free. The bed was my favourite coz it s neither hard nor soft, so I like it very much and I had a wonderful sleeping on it. They also included breakfast buffet in it, with so many ranges of food!! Lovely staffs and very polite. But they don t have free drinking water... so we paid for $22 for four bottles of Mount Franklin....

Tried the schnitzel restaurant which seems always busy, however has fast turn over and they call when there is a table ready.

Generally good, however a tad understaffed on the night. Also, although my steak was v good, the other 2 at our table, although good quality, were a fair way over done.

Id go back for a casual feed.

Great hotel with lots of entertainment and a large casino. Nice and clean rooms but could have some updates of the bathrooms. No tub unfortunately. Friendly staff but as always overpriced mini bar.

This is one of the choicest entertainment destination for most of Melbourne population. A good weekend getaway if you are into a bit of gambling. Spacious halls, good amenities, a decent spread of games, great variety of food places make Crown a good choice for decent weekend. Downside is the pricing - tad bit expensive and difficult to find parking. The staff is courteous. A must check out if you are visiting.

Good casino but i prefer the star on sydney. Not enough blackjack tables.

Hotel was just okay - rooms were big and the shower was very nice. Front staff were a little strange during check in and didn't include breakfast. I then got a note under my door that breakfast was included (2 days after I checked in). I prefer the Hiltons.

Superb casino, one of my favourites. Love the theme, definitely go here again. The bars there are amazing and the slot machines and roulette tables are super fun. It's well signed and it has some interesting features to it. I would definitely recommend coming here to stay.

Stopped in for a drink and had a walk around, great place, very awe inspiring

My wife and I had visited the Crown and had lunch at The Conservatory. Although the restaurant is buffet style cuisine the food is of a higher standard than your average buffet. Price was responsible and one free drink each, choice of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. No dress code but I'd say smart casual. Would recommend and I would visit again in the future.

The Crown Casino Complex is an entertainment precinct that has lots to offer...

...there are some impressively fancy restaurants and bars as well as a more down to earth food hall if you are hungry;

...there are cinemas and a video games arcade to keep the family entertained;

...there are hotel rooms if you've been playing too hard and need somewhere to rest;

...and there is, of course, the casino with gaming tables and lots of pokies machines...

There are experiences for everyone at Crown! You just have to walk in and look around...

If you want to throw away your hard earned and pay for over priced drinks this is for you.

Had lunch @ their noodle bar. Great food and good service. They have lunch special only $15 includes a drink till 30 june.

Always good time to visit when it's Christmas! Kids love it. They have the 10 mins show every half hour.

Attended a restaurant for dinner here. Was very nice Italian food. Properly cooked pizzas with limited toppings and a great crust. The place is always busy, but still easy enough to find somewhere to eat away from the gaming areas.

Brilliant place, the entire crown series of shops, paths and hotels is amazing.

Fantastic place for experiencing wonderful lights. It has affordable parking. The only thing requires an upgrade is food court with proper check. In particular, staff at subcontinent and kabab shops require bit of polite and welcoming attributes. Otherwise, definitely everyone visiting Melbourne must visit Fantastic Crown.

I don't know Melbourne much but I have traveled a bit and I liked what they did with this place. Good hotel and casino, good surroundings. I'd like to stay here and look around the area a bit if I get the chance next time.

Limited seating at bars.
No hand sanitizer anywhere to be found in gaming areas.
The agressiveness of patrons gambling away was mind boggling

A very busy place, great to grab a quick bite to eat or attend one of their many restaurants. If you don't mind the busy, it's great. But there are quieter (and sometimes better) places just over the river. Due to the foot traffic, it's not the easiest of places to navigate with a disability.

Yeah not bad food court there is some great restaurants as well, good places for coffee, sandwiches full meals, takeaway, basically anything you could want and casino and good accommodation. Great to go for a night out or weekend with a lot around it in the city along the Yarra to do and a good view of the city. Good fun good food enjoy yourself

Great training venue with power ready for techies like myself to plug in.

The sit down restaurant had excellent food and service for lunch. Had the steak special was a perfect medium rare and tasty.

This building is so magical inside and has great night views of the city buildings. The interior has many things to look around and see which is a real feast for the eyes. There is also lots of cafes and eating places. There is also a nice fire type display at night time too.

Lol... dont go in without leaving your money behind ... if not you will end up leaving your money here.. do visit as its a nice casino... few night clubs ... if you want a drink and spend some or all your money then this is the right place... do take the crown taxi after you drink

My husband & I celebrated our wedding at Crown Aviary just over a week ago & we were SO HAPPY with the service.
From the first point of contact, right through to our wedding night, everything was spectacular!
The food was outstanding, the service exceptional & the venue was beautiful. We have received so many compliments from our guests which I would like to pass on to you.
Special mention to Linley McAleese, (our event manager), who was super organised, prompt in returning our emails/calls & friendly & approachable in every way. Brooke Brodie was our first point of contact. She was very professional & made it possible for us to see the venue at short notice. Marcus Macorra for your hospitality. Our guests loved the kind gesture of offering them slippers at the end of the night when their high heels became too much!
Crown went above & beyond to make sure our night was perfect & I can't recommend them enough for those of you who may be considering getting married there.

The hotel was under renovation, the entire lobby, pool and restaurants were closed. This was not informed in advance. Also the folks at the reception aren't really warm and welcoming. Rooms are okay - bathrooms are small. I travelled with 2 kids and booked a two double bed room - wasn't really sufficient for a family of 4.

Had a great experience. Lots of restaurants and Loved the atmosphere. A must visit place.

A good tourist destination and good night life. Timing to go especially at night 8 where one can experience Southbank firelight and crown lights.

Atlantic Restaurant- Extremely disappointed with the service or should I say lack of service. Food was great.

This place gives you feeling of Gold... Just the same as a golden crown.
A really good shopping centre in the city with Yarra River at one side and the city on the other having major and local brands all inside one complex.
A lot of visitors in the Christmas Season and a pleasant environment around with good lighting and scenes off the riverside front.
Strong security presence in this place as the complex also houses its Crown Casino Centre.
Personal parking spot far away from place.

Brilliant experience bars and gambling my kind of night

Be warned, you will eat too much, amazing buffet, two types of prawns, amazing oysters and a truckload of other delicious seafood, the cheese and cured meats are pretty special, then there is the carvery, and we haven't even gotten to the international food area. Problem then is how on earth do you fit in the spectacular selections from the enormous dessert section, including a dark and milk chocolate fountain, Wow what a lovely problem to have. Great value, do not eat before hand.

Really poor no-one winning just losing money. It would be much better if a least one person winning. If you want to waste money crowns the place.

Best casino in Australia. Try the restaurants upstairs rather than the crowded venues along the river.

Went to watch a football match at the sports bar. Nice cocktails and helpful staff. Big casino with plenty of options for food, drink and for gambling if that's your thing!

Its about time the Victorian Government introduced a second casino licence to give Crown some competition!!
No other business in Victoria enjoys the monopoly Crown Casino enjoys and in an era where anti-competition watchdogs are constantly on the 'hunt' i question why another licence has not been granted.
As a crown Mahogany card member, I, along with many other patrons have seen the service, number of payouts and attention to clients ALL dramatically drop and can only put this down to one thing - Crown only values its High Roller customers.
It's about time Melbourne gets another Casino!!!

Do NOT play pokies here. Machines ALWAYS turned off and do not pay. Never get a feature and will often play $200 across multiple machines and never even get ur bet back once. Never get a feature. Avoid

Crown Casino in Melbourne is just so Dope right now it has amazing facilities, slot machines, restaurants and amazing nightclubs.
Two of my favourite nightclubs are on Level 3 - RNB Fridays (every Friday night) and ELECTRIC DREAMS (every Saturday night).
The brand new club Ocean 12 is so modern, so relaxing and has the most delicious food and drinks.

The scenery is very good if your purpose is just to spend your time around the river area while staring on pigeon around, but after all, you need to spend alot of money just to get temporary happiness once you get inside the building since every variants of food is a quiet expensive.

Casually I heaven been here, among one of the place to be if you are visiting Melbourne for the first time. Has astonishing ambience, with ever-growing visitors the place remains busy all the time.
