This place is ok. The food is good but the service was just ok. It s a flowing kitchen so you get your food as it s ready. They don t like to place more than one order. Don t order an appetizer first. Everything here is ordered at the same time and they ll deliver it as they wish. Not a place where lingering over a meal is encouraged.

Only went to brunch. The aesthetic is beautiful however the brunch buffet was lacking. Wish the bagels and donuts would have tasted fresh. The whole thing just seemed a little Jank and had a hotel continental breakfast feel.

We got in on a Friday night without reservations, which I appreciate. The space is incredibly decorated and the staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Service was slow, and portions are small (which they admit when you sit down) but you're buying more of of the atmosphere than the experience. Highly recommend the spaghetti. We'd come back.

Great food selection. I loved the small plates and the family style service. We went with a group of 6 and most of the dishes were large enough that we all got a few bites of each. If you are a fan of sweets you have to try the strawberry rhubarb cheesecake!

This place is very unique inside. And very cool.
Our bartender (who's name is escaping me) was amazing! Friendly, just the right amount of chatty. Walked us through their happy hour menu with recommendations.
Will definitely be back for dinner.

This place is LOUD when it's packed. We asked for a quiet place in the reservation but we're seated at a table which shared with two other groups. We now know a significant amount about the woman next to us from her conversation with her friend.

Our server Lauren was top notch though and the food was delicious albeit smaller plates than we are used to. All in all it was a lovely meal.

It's a buffet brunch.

It's a buffet brunch.
Spread lacks variety. Your typical hotel style breakfast buffet but better quality food cooked in small batches. The doughnuts and chicken/waffles were touted as the hottest items yet they were the most disappointing for me. $6 cocktails were tiny..

Event review - we had welcome gathering at Harp&Crown's Elbow Lane to kick off the wedding weekend. The bowling lanes were a hit, the food was AMAZING, and the drinks were fantastic. We also LOVED the ambiance. Our guest said this may has been a wedding because it was so great! Also, the service was AMAZING.

I experienced this place in a work party setting. It took place in the lower level which housed multiple lounge areas, two bowling lanes and a bar. The decor was charming and warm. Staff was friendly and food was great. Definitely will recommend this place.

Great food (maybe not for your breath!), but very, VERY loud, and the food comes out in it's own good time. Order less than you think you can eat, because you'll be too full for that last entre, and by that time, your throat will be too sore to eat from yelling to your neighbor anyway. I guess the young-uns don't mind that sort of thing.....

The decor and location was amazing. However, the staff were horrible. Our waiter approached us probably about 2 times. I tried to order a drink at the bar because or waiter wasn t coming to our table. And the bar refused to serve me because I was seated at the lounge. So I ended up not getting served a drink at all during the night

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Harp & Crown. They offer a tapas-style small plates menu (though a few dishes are big enough for a full meal, e.g. pizza). Our table of 6 ordered the Ricotta Gnocchi, Margarita Pizza, roasted chicken, snow peas, roasted carrots, avocado toast, and a few others. The gnocchi was hands down the best I've ever had. Each gnocchi was a perfect small hand-cut delight, and much lighter/fluffier than normal gnocchi from the Ricotta. The pizza was delicious. Every vegetable dish was extremely interesting, with a long list of accompanying ingredients to give a full pallet experience, and I loved every dish. The only mishap was one order wrongfully brought out to us ("chicken-fried cauliflower"), instead of the roasted chicken, but the manager brought the correct order out for us on the house. We also tried the cherry pie with sour cream ice cream, which was delicious, and home-made in a small cast-iron pan. They also brought out two complimentary portions of a chocolate/dulce-de-leche cake, which was just as good! While not everyone was pleased with every dish, personal preferences aside, the meal was a 5/5, the ambiance is wonderful, and apparently they have two more levels (a second floor, and a basement/bowling alley?) that we didn't explore! While the bill can add up after ordering several small plates, it is fairly priced, and worth the money. Go check it out

Super swanky bar with great decor and food. Only thing that I thought was a bit much was the bowling alley. Its $100 for an hour of play, little steep compared to literally every other bowling alley. But hey, who is going here for bowling anyway?

Great ambiance. Good drinks.

Great ambiance. Good drinks.

Ambiance: You start walking through these alleys and into the basement where they serve drinks. There is a two lane bowling alley inside the bar which looked amazing (but seemed pretty expensive). The ambiance was soothing and relaxing and we sat on the sofa making ourselves very comfortable

Drinks: I was recommend to get Meridian Peak and it was bang on. The kick of tequila and spice from rosemary was a perfect combination. (We ended up repeating the drink). Another drink we tried was the Gardener - a cucumber based drink, pretty refreshing.

Disappointed: Friend of mine ordered Moscow Mule which was rather disappointing. It felt like a virgin drink and we couldn't taste alcohol at all.
When we brought this to the server's attention, she said that the bar tender measures the alcohol and it being a citrus drink alcohol blends in and doesn't stand out. I've had lots of Moscow Mules and never really heard this before. We did not get our drunk exchanged and just ended up wasting our money. Maybe it was just us who experienced this, this one night, but I'll personally never go Moscow Mule here.

Mediocre - the malfidine I had needed to be very well-drained. The lamb wasn't that deep in flavor; it could've better. The chicken and fries were kind of off. The fries were very oily, it drip lots of grease and the fried chicken wasn't interesting at all. It could've used some seasoning. Basically, just cause it came with a dipping sauce, doesn't mean it's worth $16. And why would the restuarant be called "Striker"?

This place is both delightful for the eye and delicious for the soul. The small dishes are varied and getting several of them with a group makes for a fine evening of delicious food. Also the cocktails are top notch. It is expensive, but absolutely worth it.

Tapas-style menu. The servers recommended 2-3 plates per person. Some menu items were amazing (burrata salad, lamb meatballs) and some were underwhelming or not cooked/served as well as it could have been (octopus, scallops). I probably will not come back.

I visited Harp & Crown on a Friday evening with a large party of 9. We waited almost 30 minutes after our reservation time before being seated but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt - large party and Friday night. The cocktails and food, while a little pricey, were delicious and made me forget about any qualms we had with the delay in seating. Our waitress was professional and always around to help. She also explained that their menu contains a lot of both smaller and larger dishes; this is so you can mix and match your experience with the food and you're encouraged to share dishes with others at the table in a family-style setting. Scallops were cooked to perfection, pizzas we're delicious, Mac and cheese was heavenly, and I would totally come again for a nice dinner in Philly.

Plus they have a bar and bowling alley below the restaurant. That's a huge fun secret that many don't get as part of the normal dining experience.

Nice trendy place to hang out in the evening!! Gets crowded so better to go in with a reservation. The food is ordered tapas style ... Need at least one per person. The cocktails are terrific, I had the Madeline Peak - great combo of tequila, chilli and a grapefruit juice, I stopped at 2. The mac-n-cheese is to die for , it's made with a unique pasta that I hadn't had before... Topped with bread crumbs for that crunchy taste, awesome!! We also got the shrimp, my fellow diners thought it was ok. The Peruvian chicken was kinda average. The corn was very good, you 2 an order so we ordered 2 as there were 4 of us. The service was ok, reasonably attentive staff but I had to flag them for attention couple times. Overall great experience, you and friends will enjoy it!!

I went to Harp and Crown with girlfriends for a birthday dinner. We had a bit of a wait despite having reservations. The host provided us with complimentary sparkling wine for our trouble. The food was delicious. I loved the steak. My only issue is it was tappas style and that wasn't clear from the menu on the website. Great place though! Good food, food service. Hip and trendy crowd if you're into that.

Incredible food for moderate price. The beet salad was amazing but not as amazing as the lamb!!! So good and will continue to go back. Beats out del frisco's for me as my favorite center city date night.

Cool atmosphere of this tapas style gastropub. Great cocktail and the food was fantastic. Only downside was having to wait 45+ mins for a table even with a reservation, but it gave us time to have a drink or two at the bar.

Very cool atmosphere. Feels like you're in a bar from the 30s. Service is excellent. Happy hour runs from 4pm - 7pm, with $4 glasses of wine, beer, and cocktails. Food is tasty. Entrees are about average price for a Center City restaurant. Definitely one of my favorite spots for a drink after work.

Tasty food, mediocre service. They have that creepy system where somebody "works" in the restroom handing out paper towels for tips. If only there was a way to automate that service then they tried to remove our food from the table even after we said we were still eating. Finally at the end the waitress yelled at us for not tipping 20% as we were leaving which was incredibly uncomfortable because we actually didn't mean to tip 20%, she wasn't very good.

The place is a great reflection of Philadelphia really early on. The scenerey of the old and the new come togerher with a salon environment from the 16th century in France is spot on. This was my second time and one of the bar tender made the suggestions for this pizza. My friend and I order it because of his excitement while describing over his beautiful Spanish accent. The lady inside the bathroom she is always on point. She engaged with you, she made you feel welcome and not alone! #Styleographer, #ToussaintPhotography, #Philadelphia

Came here for a team dinner and we loved it! Instead of the tasting menu, definitely recommend getting a few shared apps or sides for the table (tuna tartare and lamb meatballs and the full roasted cauliflower were the best!), then each order your own main entree. Entree portion were generous / right for the price. Steak was good but I ve had better. The best dessert was the strawberry rhubarb cheesecake! Spacious place, cool booths and decor, plenty of seating and a nice bar.

Went here for happy hour and it was just ok. Of the Schulson restaurants in the city this is the worst happy hour. Service was very slow. Cocktails were small and happy hour food items were limited. Prices were affordable though. If I were you I would skip this place and go to Sampan, Double Knot or Osteria instead for happy hour or dinner. Full disclosure I have not been to the downstairs bar.

Visited a number of places when we were in Philadelphia and this was definitely our favorite. A nice room with good food and very well priced. They have a 4-7 pm happy hour and you can t go wrong with $5 beers, wine and appetizers. The staff were generous with their recommendations and provided great service. A lively (busy) room. We came back again and will next time in Philly. Recommended.

Best vibe. I usually go to the elbow lane in the basement of the joint. Great specials especially happy hour food. The whole atmosphere here is great and I always have a great time coming here. It's probably the best happy hour in center city.

Located right off busy Sansom street, Harp & Crown will transport you to the old-world. Vibes are Philadelphia circa the early 1900s. . .Think Speakeasy during the Roaring Twenties. Service was excellent the the food did not lack flavor or unique character. Two solid choices are the Margherita pizza and the bucatini (with crab and spice). The drink menu was robust and with desert the apple caramel and pear tart was the right note to end the experience.
