Lovely reception service...glass of whiskey on arrival, we ll needed. Room was spacious and warm. Only thing was that I found it light on bathroom amenities. Whether it wasn t stocked or they don t provide, toothbrush etc...
Very comfortable and cosy bedding, room service quick and decent. Breakfast in the Lido was a little disappointing as service and food was not up to their standard in my opinion. Food came out luke warm and toast was half done and not buttered as I had requested. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Sara made my welcome thoughtful, quick, and welcoming. It really made my stay and I was looking for a hotel I could use often, as I stay in London for business almost 30 nights/year so I m very pleased that I ve found that place.

Absolutely everything about this hotel is brilliant. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, they really go out of their way to make sure you are OK. The hotel itself is modern and the rooms are perfect. I didn't want to leave !

Highly recommended ! ! !

Great attention to details. Well equipped minibar and entertainment options. USB ports etc. Personal steam room was a nice touch. Nearby amenities are creative, trendy, modern. Upstairs the breakfast buffet is a must. Bring your swimming kit! There are towels and the pool is heated on the terrace. There is also access to a private members club 3 floors below ground level. Comfy sofas, cosy environment.

Really nice bar and club. The design makes it look like they should be 2 completely different venues with the club section behind a door but it works amazingly as if you want to have a bit of quiet and sit down the area is dedicated to that and is very smart and trendy. Would recommend for both a club night out or casual drinks

5 star hotel with hostel details. The buffet breakfast is not worth it, there are 4 things and it only includes coffee and tea (if you ask for coffee with milk they will charge you !!!). Be careful when you leave, check your bank account well after a few days ... they tried to charge me 30 saying that I had taken the bath shampoos !! Very good to accuse without any proof! (They returned it of course)

Just signed for my second year as a member and I live out of this place work, eat, drink, party, gym all are great. The staff are amazing and the views from the roof you'll struggle to beat. 3 restaurants (4 if you count the studio bar) keep it interesting all have different themes. 3 bars too again keep things fresh. Well worth a visit. I've also stayed in the hotel which was worth every penny. Big fan.

This review is more so for the private members club which is part of The Curtain hotel

It is safe to say this is one of the worst private members clubs I have ever had the displeasure of being apart of.

I am not even sure where to start, the face that most of the staff are incompetent, patronising humans or the lack of communication between departments?
Or the Director, who was clearly out of their depth and had no idea how to speak to a member in a professional manner.
Even the gym condition (which always had issues with machines out of use).
The manager at Imperial who thinks its okay to point and give sass to customers?

This establishment is beyond a joke, and the way in which they treat other members is shocking.
They have no sense of real customer service when issues arise and are mostly a bunch of inexperienced individuals who should not be in those positions, they are in.
The lack of communication between the hotel and member club is apparent.

Since I terminated my contract, I have had many other friends who have been treating in shocking ways and are also looking to leave.

If I was to be called babe or hun in a patronising tone once more from the Director or staff in that place I would have lost the plot!
Whoever owns this place needs to take a GOOD look at what fools they have running it.

Avoid at all costs. I will never go back, and neither will my friends.

Really cool and chic hotel. Great upstairs dining area with outside heated pool - along with the nice decor there is a cinema, private members area and night club within this establishment. Very very cool and worth a visit - it is a private members hotel please note

The lido is a great place to be on a sunny day.

Could and should be 5 stars. Unfortunately the quality of both the crowd and food have both been diluted following a recent membership sales drive.

I was here for Bambam Boogie's free Twerk after Work dance session. It has a cosy ambience and I had fun with other soul sisters at the dance class which lasted for about an hour and some minutes

I visited the spa with my daughter - it's lovely - trendy decor - friendly staff. We had a look at the roof top restaurant and pool before we went in for our treatments. Top marks to Kareen for a wonderful massage.

Design hotel with poor service, expensive kitchen and more design as function. In general I like dark hotel rooms not so right. Bar in the room is large, for 5 stars but a free gift would be desirable

Had a great few nights here, staying on business. Slight problem with the lighting in one room, moved immediately to another. Tried room service a few times, quick good food. Only issues with some of the 'smart apps' on the TV not working correctly. Will stay again.

Really beautiful interior, however service here extremely slow and often tables forgotten about... also it s impossible to get a seat outside in lido and they don t take bookings for outside. Pool usually full of kids diving and running about at the weekends, which I don t mind myself but avoid if you want a relaxing dip/swim not the place to go to feel pampered .. but casual and fun.

A friend is a member and they took me here for lunch at their Lido bar on the roof. The views of the city are fabulous and the food really good too. I had the crab on toast and I'd highly recommend it. It was so good I couldn't resist a cheeky side of chips too!

Me an my partner have stayed here twice in the last two months, once for our anniversary and once for my boyfriends 30th birthday. They went above and beyond both times to make our stay as special as possible. Every single staff member you meet is so lovely and helpful. This is the customer experience all companies should aspire for they are just brilliant and I can't wait to stay again! Thank you for making our weekend so lovely.

I stayed 3 nights at the hotel. The room was well decorated and very cozy. The shower can also be transformed into a hammam and the bathroom is a good size. The breakfast is very complete with a lot of fresh fruit, several kinds of bread and especially made up of quality products. It is on the 6th floor of the hotel which allows a pleasant and peaceful view.
I encountered some Booking issues ahead of my stay and the reception staff were responsive, which I greatly appreciated. I will happily return to the curtain.

Had a great few drinks on this hard to access rooftop bar which has a small pool on the outside. Cocktails and good are great and the service is very attentive and professional. Spent a good 4-5 hours drinking and chatting and enjoying a nice day in central London bar full of pretty cool people.

The hotel was super niche and chilled out. Definitely a place to chill with close friends or a date night. Great atmosphere and music. The green room was where we had our drinks and the manager Davide was really skillful in looking after my party for my birthday drinks. Always smiling and greeting all his guests

Cannot fault the hotel- great staff, great design. The soundproofing in the bedrooms is not great. If you on are on the first floor you can hear the music from the bar until about 1. Then our neighbours got back at 3 and had a party in their room until 6. Security do tell them to be quiet but we could still hear them. So 3 hours sleep isn't great!

Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. The rooms are incredibly clean and was very comfortable for our 2 night stay. This hotel had all you want and more. Walking distance from Liverpool Station and great restaurants close by with lots of different bars to enjoy. We would love to return. 10/10.

It was a lovely hotel and friendly staff but unfortunately there's a very loud late night bar which we could hear from our room.. the pool area was small and cramped so we didn't have breakfast or lunch up there and seemed to be full of people who weren't staying at the hotel.

The decor of The Curtain is amazing - all brass, moss greens and huge melting candlesticks downstairs. The staff are also wonderful - so engaging, friendly and warm to chat to, and I've always been made to feel very welcome. However they're recruiting, they're doing it very very right. The club night room with the Gersch & Rox cabaret is super fun and Supa Dupa Fly!

Proposed to m6 girlfriend at this hotel, used the roof top terrace to propose and the staff were very kind and proactive in making this a wonderful experience. Provided complimentary perks to help me and my fiance have a enjoyable experience. Rooms were very nice and the bathroom is amazing. Parking just outside free on Saturday after 1pm and free Sundays. The breakfast was very nice as well. Price is on the heavy side but it is worth the money for special occasions. Leon was who I dealt with and he was very helpful.
