Food ordered and received nothing on two popular demand!

Small, nice pub. Although I am not a burger-fan, I liked that one!

Recommended for all Aussies missing home - cold VB and Coopers!

Good food, many different and cider beers on tap and others. FOSTERS. Good food and reasonable prices. Waitresses are very friendly and attentive. At the weekend it gets really busy. Groups should definitely reserve. Sports events are broadcast live.

I was the only one sitting at the downstairs bar for a while, no one noticed me or something. But I was finally help, and I asked for a recommendation of beer so they gave me one. It was OK but whatever, I tried to make small talk because being an Australian pub I figured the staff naturally spoke English like me (and they did) but they just seemed not interested. I would say they were pre occupied but it was 7:30pm (19:30) they were not busy at all. Just had my drink, paid for it, and got the _____ out of there. Seems like I would have had better service if I had a vagina.

I was here for my girlfriend's birthday today. Just like 14 other people we all squeezed together at 3 bar tables. Despite reservation a month in advance it was a very "cozy" party. The music is a little too loud for my taste, especially considering that the speakers are genai over the tables.
The waiters are quite attentive with some help and the chef makes sure that you are really hungry. Even though the restaurant was well stocked, an hour's wait is relatively suboptimal. Unfortunately, the chef has not been in love for a long time, because the food would not have tasted so boring with a little salt. And it could have been hot too. All in all, it can be said that in Crossfield's for adventurers it's ok to try the grasshoppers, kangaroo or crocodile, but if you want good burgers and steaks, you might want to choose a different place.

Together with the Burger Bar in Vorgartenstrasse the best burger in Vienna, but with the Australian touch (for example Kangaroo ...).

nice little (? ... there's a extra section downstairs!) bar in the middle of 1st district. very friendly staff! always nice to stop by! food actually is ok too!

On the whole, I enjoyed the stay. The ambience is quaint and cozy. A real pub atmosphere. There is even a stuffed crocodile hanging on the wall. The waiters speak for the most part only English, but also understand German. But you can get along with a bit of English quite well, because they are all extremely hard-working and friendly. The food is really very good. There are also some exotic ones such as kangaroo, crocodile and various insects. But also very down to earth English cuisine (fish and chips, for example). The prices are normal and not overdone.
The only criticism and therefore a star deduction are the toilets. I do not know if the restaurant in Vienna generally has a problem with keeping toilets clean. I noticed that here in Vienna a few times already. The place is good. Only when you have to go to the toilet, you want to run away from horror and screaming. Everywhere toilet paper lies on the floor, partly urine. So in Tyrol, not even the wildest drinking buffets look like three in the morning. People, that does not work! Please modify!!! Otherwise it would be perfect.

I don't normally go to Aussie pubs while I'm away from home!

But this place had burgers that I just could not resist.

Really nice restaurant, broad range of craft Beer & Ciders with an extremely exotic food menu.

A bowl of worms was certainly not the first idea in my mind when going for dinner, but I had to go for it for the novelty + Crocodile for main! Try everything once :)

As somebody who doesn't drink much beer, but moreso likes cider, the Black stock ( wild tree ) cider is lovely!

Great place in the evening for meeting people, Coopers and VB available for homesick-Aussies and finally smoke-free upstairs as well. Definitely recommended.

Until 17 hours I do not recommend: only the first floor works. This is a tiny bar with one single waiter bartender, and also a smoking area. After 17, unfortunately, I could never get there - it was packed with people, there are no places. Obviously, people come only for the Australian flavor.

More of a cheesy tourist gimmick than a pub for expats. The closest thing you'll get to an "Australian" experience is that the waiters will talk to you as if you didn't understand a word of English if you don't look "white" enough. It's quite a shame, I was looking forward to this place.

Quaint pub / pub. Great mood. The food is quite good. Very well visited, so a reservation is recommended. There are u.a. Coconut chips and kangaroo curry are offered, although the menu could be a bit more "peppy" and more fancy.

There are kangaroo burgers depending on the moon, so it may be nice to ask.

Pretty average. We ate here for dinner late June, 2019. Had the bacon burger and the fish and chips. Both seemed like factory food out of the freezer onto the grill/fryer. Fries were good. Service on the sidewalk patio was friendly but very slow. With 3 glasses of wine and two small beers, came to 52e plus tip. It was ok but for us, there are many better choices in Vienna city centre at that price.

Nice service, PubQuiz was fun.
There's a star deduction for food. It's damn expensive and the portions are insanely small and of poor quality. Toast was soft and wet in places, 6.50 is way too much for that.
Steak was inedible, someone ate half, got up and left. I can say from experience that the steak was never really good.
French fries as a single portion with sauce: 6.80 and you don't get much. Completely covered.
Drinks were very good.

Conclusion: drink yes, no food.
In comparison, McDonalds is a 5 star restaurant.

The best thing about this pub? They serve beers in FROZEN glasses. Food is good, location is perfect too. Good place to go if your German is rusty, since the whole staff speaks English.

Friendly but not the least bit authentic, grasshoppers isn't an Australian thing.

So today I tried grasshoppers for the first time and I was absolutely thrilled. Great experience. Prices are absolutely right for the special products and their taste is at the forefront. Ambience is very cozy and pleasant. The waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. Would love to come back.

Very good restaurant with a large selection of special drinks that you usually can not order elsewhere. The food tastes great and the service is friendly. One should, however, be able to speak the English language, because otherwise nothing will come with the order.
