Great way to travel to Block Island VIA the Block Island Express ferry.

There are no comforts here. Plenty of space, but the seats are uncomfortable. Try getting better benches. Trip is pretty quick.

We had a great experience on the way there - a beautiful new boat. The return ship - I felt like I was a prisoner! Make sure you book one of the newer boats and it will completely transform your experience.

The crew was extremely help and experienced . it was inclement wheather and the crew was on point.

My experience was good. Driving there can be confusing as you need to cross the railroad tracks and turn right. The signature the res light reads no right turns, that is meant for before crossing the tracks.

Very crowded so don't expect to have a place to sit down, but it was on time.

My 50th+ time crossing the sound with them. As per usual I love it. Seriously good food, I recommend the grilled Ceasar chicken wrap! This place is amazingly clean, booths are separated for social distancing, crew are great as always. Honestly never had a complaint, even when it's real busy. Best and most affordable way to cross the Sound!

Nice ride in both directions. Good and helpful staff from start to finish. All around helpful staff from tickets to boat and on both ends of the trip. Very pleasant.

Comfortable way to get to the East end of Long Island. A little pricey but worth eliminating the drive around and through NYC. Snack bars not too bad either.

Great cruise on the lighthouse tour. The narrator was incredibly knowledgeable and the staff was lovely!

Its the easiest most relaxing way to get to Connecticut and points north and east of there.

It's a beautiful sunny day and plenty of room to social distance. I hated to get off the ferry. Also, temporarily due to covid-19 you are allowed to go to and from your car during the trip.

Your staff is so amazing. Patient beyond belief when it comes to dealing with travelers. A great service!

just be aware that are small and big ferries doing the same route. I just used the small one and think the bigger would would be even better

Pricey but it saves some time vs. driving around and it sure is a more pleasant way to travel as opposed to dealing with NYC bridge traffic!

The lighthouse cruise we went on was a bust because of thick fog so half the cruise was cancelled. Expected maybe a voucher or something to make up for the cancelled half but nothing. What we did see was interesting and the narrator knew his stuff. We will not rebook though.

This was so convenient and relaxing. My friend ordered some lunch and a beer from concessions. I ordered a mimosa and was given my own small bottle of champagne. I would definitely utilize the ferry again! It was a breeze getting our vehicle on and off, but I did pay for priority boarding. It was definitely worth the up charge which really wasn t that much more

The ferry makes getting to New England from Long Island a lot less stressful. The best part about the ferry is that it allows you to bypass any congestion at the Throgs Neck Bridge and in the Bronx.

If you don't want to make the hour plus drive to Long Island in traffic this can't be beat. Guaranteed to add to your travel experience to the island.

1st time taking the Ferry and it was nice and smooth. My friends and I brought our car across as well and that process was so easy!! I like that it has different places to sit either inside, upstairs on the sun deck or the main deck which is nice. Once we docked just get in your car and drive off. We missed our time (both going AND coming back) and it was so easy to either reschedule the time or go on standby. I will certainly be using them again

Take the lighthouse tour! The high-speed ferry will take you by many of the lighthouses in eastern Long Island Sound, close enough for great pictures. Food and beverages are sold aboard, too.

Good ferry service but once we came 2 minutes late and sent to the standby lane and waited through 3 ferries. And the 2nd time (which was the next time after the one above) a pickup truck lied about its size and us and 2 other cars where held back and weren t aloud on the ferry

Great way to cross and the priority ticket was worth it

This company is the gold standard in quality and service. I have used this ferry many times over the years and it's always top notch. The boats and bathrooms are clean and very well maintained. There are outlets everywhere.

Every employee I have interacted with is always professional and friendly - from the people on the phone, taking the tickets, parking the cars and operating the cafes.
One of the boats even has a children's museum! Amazing.

I find it very annoying the staff is not friendly! I have no idea how they figuire things out! I have been bumped off my reseved time more than once! They have put a large trunk with no reservation I guess he was paying cash and they already had my payment. I would assume people that have prepaid and have a reservation would get priority but apparently the guy in the Mercedes that slipped some cash to the dock guy figuired the system. Unfortunately they have an monopoly and the only other choices are Bridgeport or driving around.

Very efficient and organised, which makes the experience less stressful and more enjoyable. Good job by the staff.
