Crobar Review

God, it was a great night, you have to pay 2 pounds to enter but it is not much, inside there is an ambience of the ostia, and the unique people.

One of my favourite rock metal bars in London, I love Crobar!

As is as was, this rock bar has stayed consistent that is why they have so many die hard regulars, it remains the final bolthole in the centre of London catering for the more alternative music giving a wide berth to mainstream music, the name "The Crobar" has become a heavyweight, although small the ever friendly, brilliant, carefully selected staff scythe their way through an often packed pub with efficiency meaning you never wait long for a beer no matter how busy it is, I have been going there for many, many years and it's the first watering hole I can be found at when I'm back in London from Sweden, because of the nature of the rock crowd you will never drink alone due to the friendly nature of the place. Long live the last bastion of rock pubs.

A great buzz if you prefer the heavier vibe, always very busy at the weekends, but a nice hole to sit in to avoid the London rush.

Cool little dive bar playing rock/metal. Would rate higher but the drinks were pretty expensive, even for central London. Convenient for a couple before/after a gig at the Borderline.

Good beer, good music (when working!) good company, and the odd celebrity!

Really nice pub, the atmosphere and the people there were all really nice. There's a jukebox and we spent a really long time there choosing music and singing.

About the only metal bar left in London worth visiting.

Possibly the best rock bar in London at present. It's been around for years and they know their craft well. The new jukebox is very impressive, service as quirky, friendly and fun as always. Decor is proper metal and exactly what you want. Can't wait to go back.

Gritty dive bar with London's worst toilets. Fun times if you can get in past the bar, gets very crowded.

It's dark, loud and tucked away from the main road, perfect. The music is rock and metal and the toilet paper is kept on a chain. What's not to like?

Awesome rock bar in the heart of Soho. Has the best jukebox in all of London, possibly the whole world? Drinks are responsibly priced and the shooters menu is extensive and fun.

One of the few rock and roll bars in the West End. Not cheap though.

It's a metal bar! It's tiny, good beer selection with happy hours and always nice people as the metalheads/rockers usually are. And now it's got digital jukebox although I prefer the old one.

Great dive bar with a funky atmosphere and cool staff.

Narrow as a good metal joint, the only one and for my unforgivable fault is that they do not have a Guinness tap ... they sell it to you from a can, as in the mercadona.

This place is open late but be careful of buying drinks. Shots are 5.50 each and they don't display that price before charging you

I've been to Crobar a few times with my friends
Its one of the coolest place in Soho, whether you like Heavy Metal or not.
Just one bad point about it, i went there last night (10/03/2015), asked for a beer and sat near the entrance, and then asked the bar girl for peanuts or anything to nibble she quickly answered no, we don't have it i i thought maybe she was too busy eating her bowl os pistachios and drinking her spirit with the other barman, so they didn't bother about the customer.
Everything else was ok.

In my opinion, overvalued. Many boys, who are not really related to Metal, populate the bar at night. Pretty loud and impractical.

They have a beer called DAB!!! I mean is there no better place for alternative vibe!

What can I say nice about this place? Let me think. First the bartenders are so high in drugs that are chatting with their friends and forget to even say hi or serve you. Then they look at you like you don't belong there because you don't have piercing or look as junkie as them. After, they serve you canned bears for the price of those that should be done in glass. Also they don't even ask you if you want a glass. Then, they get stressed because you are there. Maybe the worst service I have in all rock pubs and let me tell you I work as a sound engineer for a good metal band. So better to change personal that are high on drugs and hire some that behave as they should be: bartenders.

Dinky little pub... tiny... not that clean but it plays metal and rock, it serves good beer (though not from taps) and it's where you go to escape hipsters.

Heavy metal bar, small dark with a friendly crowd. They've got some good stuff on the CD dukebox e.g. Slayer, Sepultura, Obituary and Lamb of God

Unpretentious dive bar with good drinks and great service.

Loud rowdy congested. Be nice to have a description of beers and % on display.

My type of place! Nice to compete who can guess the name of the song that s playing first cause the music selection is super good!
Also the drinks have songs name, so can be used as another game .

Lots of whiskey to choose from, great music, cold beer, and my name is on it. I just had to visit, and I'm glad that I did.

A thank you to the door man John last night. A member of our party was not feeling well and he went out of his way to get us a glass of water. Really appreciate it.

Trademark Hard Rock and Metal fans hangout. Ideal place if you want to just sit have couple of beers and listen to some good hard rock music.
